[F1-SP] First Steps Into the New World

Kou closed the door behind him, leaving his sister inside her room. He quickly headed into his own room, turned off the lights, closed the door and curtains, and pulled out his own NerveGear from inside his closet. The young teenager waited in line for soo long to finally get his hands on the new pop hit Sword Art Online that only 10,000 people would be a part of. He sat down on his bed and fitted his headset onto of his head and laid down. An hour earlier, he had already logged into the game and created his character and did the necessary pre-game status check and body checks beforehand so he would not have to wait to log in.

"Link Start!"

A moment later, myriad colors flashed by his vision as the visual interface and the NerveGear did their thing. The sight before him filled with color as he saw a new world ahead of him. He was in the world of Aincrad. Everything around him felt surreal and he almost thought that this simply could not be real. Kou, or rather, Angelo, as he so opted to name himself in the game, looked around and felt the air, his body, and the environment. Using his senses to his fullest, he realized that it was as if he was actually in this virtual world. He was inside the game Sword Art Online. The white-haired youth looked at the bottom right corner of his screen, seeing the time show up.

Looks like it will be a short while until Hina finally finishes with the start up and the creation of her character. I'll just scout around for a while and get used to this massive place..

Angelo was currently in the Town of Beginnings, reportedly being the largest town in Aincrad. He would spend the next hour and a half or so looking around the enormous town, taking in the sights and the bustle of people, players and NPC alike, moving all over the place. After a while, he ventured upon a marketplace that was bustling with people and stalls alike. Seeing how about 10,000 people were already here in Aincrad, it's no wonder that the entire town is just full of players. Angelo stopped by one of the merchants and looked at the selections that they had.

A wide variety of fruits and vegetables were on display in chic baskets and containers. He lifted one of the items with his right hand and felt the texture and weight. Angelo proceeded with asking how much it would cost and the merchant replied with 5 col. He instinctively reached for his pocket with his free hand and realized that he didn't have a wallet with him.

Right.. col.

He looked around for something that would resemble an interface or something when he remembered that his fingers controlled the interactions. He tapped the apple that he held and a popup interface appeared whether or not you wanted to buy it or not. Angelo tapped 'Yes' and the transaction was complete just like that. Nifty, he would think as he proceeded to take a bite out of the apple. The juiciness and crunchiness was just like he would expect an apple to be, which surprised him.

They actually got the sense of taste down too.. This NerveGear and SAO is amazing..
