[SP-F7] Mining Operation (Complete)

Seldentar jumps forward as the Gnoll rushes towards him. His plan is to cut through it, cutting it in half and leaving him with one less enemy to deal with. As they reach each other, he swings his sword forward, trying to cut through the Gnoll. As his sword cuts into, and then through the Gnoll, it shatters apart into nothingness.

With the First Gnoll dead, Seldentar spins around, seeing the other two still moving about in their frenzy coming after him. Targetting the second one, he lunges forward, sprinting at it with his sword held at chest height, his eyes glowing as his skills cooldown runs out. His sword cuts deep into the second Gnoll, glowing red as it continues to steal the life of his enemies.

As he spins to face the two Gnoll that are left, he finds himself under attack from both. Forcing him to defend, they come at him with swords flashing before his eyes as they try to cut him apart. Ducking under one of the attacks that went wide, he thrusts his sword at the second Gnoll in a counter attack. Missing, the third Gnoll manages to cut into him, its increased damage from the frenzy making a definite mark on his HP.

He continues to press his attacks, trying to eliminate the second Gnoll before he gets overwhelmed. His swords life steal effect was keeping him going, but he definitely needed to finish this quickly. Missing, the second gnolls blade cuts deep into his side.

Seldentar jumps up into the air after his last failed attack. After kicking off as hard as he can, he raises his sword high, activating the motion trigger for his sword skill . As his blade starts to glow, he moves back down towards the Gnoll, driving his sword down at it. His blade drives through the Gnoll, and it vanishes in an explosion of shattering glass pixels.

Seldentar hits the ground as the second Gnoll vanishes, and rushes towards the final one. In single combat, with their damage equal, he had the advantage with higher HP and life steal. Now that it was down to a one on one fight, he was confident in his victory. Reaching the final Gnoll, he lunges forward. Maybe it was his overconfidence, but he misses, and is dealt a critical hit from the final Gnoll, his HP dropping below half into the yellow.

His vision goes red as his HP continues to drop. His bloodlust rising, he lashes out violently at the final Gnoll. He was not going to die in this game, he had to win, he had to survive. He unleashed a flurry of attacks, abandoning all reason as he tries to land a hit. With a satisfying feeling, one of his attacks breaks through its defenses, and his HP increases slightly as his sword steals some of the enemies HP

Seldentars eyes start to glow blue, and he jumps back for a brief moment, before rushing towards the enemy again. His sword held at chest level, he prepares to impale the Gnoll, his activated. Sadly, it is not enough to help as the Gnoll dodges his attack, his attack patterns being mapped out more and more the longer the fight goes on.

Seldentar growls, his normal attack patterns he had used too many times already, if he didnt find a way to shake things up the game would easily defend against even his most advanced attacks. For now, he continues his assault as normal, while he starts to work on changing his pattern. He was hoping he would be able to break his defense before it got that far. Lashing out, he manages to dodge an incoming attack, and, with the Gnoll wide open, he drives his blade through it leaving a shattering sound as it explodes.

Seldentar looks around the room after the enemies are finally gone. This clearly was an old mining tunnel, and this chamber was probably used for breaks or storage. Looking around, he finally finds a chest hidden behind barrels in the corner. He puts his hand on the chest, and slowly opens it.

Silver Serpent: +1 Loot Dice

1-4: The chest contains nothing.

5-8: The chest contains two materials.

9-13: The chest contains three materials.

14-17: The chest contains four materials

18-19: The chest contains five materials.

20: The chest contains eight materials.

Seldentar pulls the five metal ingots from the chest, a look of joy on his face. He adds them to his inventory, then looks around the room for a way to travel further in. He wanted to find that rare crystal ore, and to do that he has to go deeper.

Seldentar eventually finds his way deeper into the mountain. As he travels, the rocks and metal fade away, and the walls seem to be lined with a crystaline substance. While it was definitely a step in the right direction, the crystal he was seeing was definitely not usable to craft with. He would have to find a way to harvest it properly, and he wasn't sure how to do that. His Battle Healing skill restoring his HP, he wandered around through the Crystal Tunnels, until he started to hear a slithering sound ahead of him. Sword at the ready, he slowly turns the corner.

Seldentars eyes go wide as he sees the giant scaled worm like creature. Reminding him of a monster from the movie Tremors, the giant worm was chewing through the crystal in the path, devouring it. The thing could eat the hard crystal, what was it going to do to him. Still, it was in his way, and it had to go. Looking at its name, he sees its name, the . Shuddering at its dual hit bars, he charges forward, letting his Concentration skill activate as his eyes glow blue, wanting to open with a strong attack. Digging his sword deep into it, he sees with concern that his attack, while dealing damage, only depleted 1/5 of its first health bar.

The Crystal Gorger roared out in pain as it was attacked. It had not detected an enemy nearby, but now that it was damaged it was very angry. The threat was behind it, and it whips the back half of itself around wildly trying to throw the threat away to give it time to turn around. It couldn't seem to land a hit without seeing however.

Seldentar continues his assault on the giant worm, it was between him and his goals, and it had to be destroyed. He knew that if he didnt kill it before it turned around it would try to eat him, and he didn't want to be food. He jumps up into the air, using his to attack the enemy. The giant enemy was an easy target, and his blade found a nice home in its back. Afterwards, he hops off, not wanting to be slammed around by standing on top of the beast.

The worm roared out as it was attacked again. Its body quickly whips around, more quickly then was to be expected from a creature that size. It whips its whole body at its attacker, trying to slam him against the wall. Seldentar is able to jump back out of the way easily, predicting its attack.

Seldentar presses his attack, the creature was trying to spin to get to him, and he was doing his best to keep to the side of it if not behind it. Running, he swings his sword wide, trying to cut into the creatures side as he ran down its length towards its tail again. He manages to dig his sword into the creatures side, and slices deeply into the monster in a long gash as he runs.

The worm is getting more and more angry, as the assailant continues to drain away its life force. It rears its head up, and slams its body down towards the attack, trying to crush him. While not fully trapped, the impact is enough to send the assailant flying into the wall.

Seldentar hits the wall hard, watching his HP start to drop. With most of the bosses first health bar gone though, he was running on the adrenaline high of battle. He charges forward as his feet hit the ground, the tip of his blade dragging along the crystals sending sparks flying as he cuts up at the giant worm. As the worm lashes about, he finds he is unable to land a hit while it is thrashing.

The worm continues to thrash about, trying to crush and kill its assailant. Its meal had been interrupted, and when he was finished he would go back to eating crystals. Its head and tail thrash about, trying to find and kill Seldentar. Whipping around, it smashes into Seldentar hard, sending him sprawling onto the ground.

Seldentar struggled to get up, dizzy from that last attack. The monsters thrashing hadnt stopped, and standing was difficult while trying not to get hit. Grabbing his sword, he finally manages to face the giant creature, and charges forward at it, needing to kill it before it killed him. He manages to get a clean shot off, letting his blooddrinker restore some of his HP
