But this was the seventh floor and things were harder to hit sometimes. The giant lizard dodged Yunah's attack by jumping back. Miaki jumped in to insure Yunah's safety but luckily for him the lizard's attack missed him too. He hoped for a proper counter attack and made a move for the lizard in front of them. (OOC: Sword skill cooldown (1) turn(s).) Battle Result: Missed The agile lizard kept itself at just a distance from Miaki's blade. Miaki: 50/53 Yunah: 9/9 <>: 24/25 Link to post Share on other sites
Yunah 0 Posted June 15, 2014 Author #23 Report Share Posted June 15, 2014 Yunah watched with a careful eye as the lizarrd missed Miaki and then jump back at his attack. as it jumped back Yunah charged forward hoping to hit it this time, she ran towards it charging up her own Sword Ability (Roll 7, for two hit combo one damage each), it her skills list it was titled "Raising Meteor" but she had no idea what it would do, and so she charged it up dragging her massive blade on the ground to add effect.. Battle Dice: 6 + Azdorian Boots ( +1 ) = 7 HIT! Yunah ran towards it then unleashed her sword, she jumped up with her back towards it raking it's side as it stood on two legs, then she did a 180 degree turn in the air to face the monster and with her blade directly behind her head she brought it downwards racking along it's side parallel to the first mark and slamming the ground with such force it shook for a small area around her. then she jumped backwards and let Miaki do his work on the beast. Miaki was surprised at just how well she was doing now with her new gear and her quickly leveling up. Suddenly, the giant lizard roared at Yunah and was about to strike her. "YUNAH! Switch out!" Miaki jumped where Yunah last stood and to the full blow of the lizard's claw. "Okay, that stings." He thought to himself. Miaki charged his blade in hand, getting low to the ground to release the sword skill <>. (Roll 6 to hit with 1 extra DMG, roll above 8 to stun for one turn) (OOC: Sword skill cooldown (3) turn(s).) Battle Result: Hit! 3 DMG Miaki jumped into the air and turned his body as he came down he released a 360 degree slash attack which hit the lizard, knocking it back a little. Only after a short while, a roar could be heard, which shook him off the branch and made him face-plant on the ground. Keith stood up and wiped grass off of his clothes. "The first day off I get in a month, and this happens! Well, time to get back to business!" he said, getting in a running position and then bursting off in a boom of speed. Making his way quickly to the source of the roar, he saw Miaki and an unfamiliar girl fighting some large lizard. "Yo, Miaki! I would ask what's up, but I guess giant lizards aren't good for conversation." Keith then looked to the Giant Lizard and scoffed. "And you, ya big gecko. Why don't you go back to selling insurance?" he said, readying his sword as it charged up with a pale blue light, activating his <> Skill. <> Effect: Attack is performed three times, multiplying damage by three. Keith ran at the lizard, slashing his two front legs with his katana and then hopped onto it's head, slashing at sonic-speed and then stabbing it in it's left eye for good measure. the effect of his katana, also leaving it with bleed damage for two turns. damage dealt: 9 Miaki: 47/53 Yunah: 9/9 Keith: 67/67 <>: 10/25 (-1 for two turns) Link to post Share on other sites

Yunah's mouth dropped just a little bit, then she shook her head and spotted his name. seeing as how he apparently knew Miaki and he was attacking the lizard anyways she figured she had better invite him into the party before he killed the lizard and took the drop. she swiped her hand and quickly invited him into the party, then she close the HUD seeing as how the invite had sent she didn't need it up anymore and the charged the beast. Battle Dice: miss... She ran at the beast and slashed at it, but the extreme large lizard simply dodged and then ran at her, she put her sword up to block it. "I'll use myself as a distraction, miaki, Keith, you two run at it from the sides while it charges me!" she said as she refocused her attention towards the lizard. she wanted to prove to Miaki that she could take some Damage as well. damage dealt: 0 Miaki: 47/53 Yunah: 9/9 Keith: 67/67 <>: 9/25 (-1 for one more turn) Link to post Share on other sites

Miaki shouted as he rushed forward towards the monster. Yunah insisted on tanking the monster for a moment and Miaki almost said no, but something about the green haired girl's drive told him that she could do it. (OOC: Sword skill cooldown (2) turn(s).) If everything went as planned, of course. He set his katana on his shoulder and slowly let energy flow to it, preparing his attack on the monster. No hit landed. Yunah 0 Posted June 17, 2014 Author #32 Report Share Posted June 17, 2014 Yunah blocked the Monsters tail from hitting the ground, then she jumped back wards and watched as Kieth, the one who had done sooo much damage before hand missed and Miak the one who had been missing allmost the entire time did four damage... she couldn't help but facepalm, the she brought out her blade, she charged the lizard aiming to do at least a little damage to it, before she would get the final blow... she came near the lizard and swung the sword over her head... Battle Dice: 9 +1 = 10 HIT! -3 health The Blade came crashing on the lizards tail cutting it off for good this time as it's health bar dropped quite a significant amount. Yunah stood there with her blade held up ready to attempt and bloc the lizard once more. Miaki: 47/53 Yunah: 9/9 Keith: 67/67 <>: 2/25 Link to post Share on other sites

Miaki gripped the handle of his katana and leapt high into the air bearing down on the oversized gecko. (OOC: Sword skill cooldown (1) turn(s).) Battle Result: Crit! 3 DMG! His blade cut clean down the middle of the monster. The beast shimmered for a moment before it exploded like a pinata. "Hey, hey! Nice job! Kill secured!" The two hadn't seen each other in sometime and caught up on some of the basics. Miaki heard about their recent events. Keith informed Miaki about his recent joining the Ebon Vanguard and leading against a rising terror. Miaki told him about some of the changes the Brigade was going through in order to regain it's momentum. Before they knew it they were back in the town where everything started.
