[SP-F1-8] The Grinder

Recommended Posts

Zelrius was on a mission today. He had recently learned of the constant leveling up other Players had been doing, and the Blood Buccaneer certainly wasn't going to be shown up. So here he was walking through the Town of beginnings to the Other side of the town and into the Wilderness. His goal over the next few days was to kill as many Monsters as possible, along with Leveling up like no other throughout the whole Ordeal. He was on a Grind of EXP.

Zelrius had met up with his first match, 5 Level 1 Boars. Grinning, Zelrius charged full speed at the closest one, and instantly shattered it to piece. This was going to be a fun Grind.

The boar shreiked and cried amongst each other. One charged, In an effort to burrow its tusks into Zelrius's suit and Skin. Making its way through the grass it moved at a bit of speed towards the target. The tusks did reach its target with considerable Force. Zelrius had to Smile, Now the battle was getting going.

Another Shreik, and a Boar was in motion. This time charging to get a headbutt in on the attacker in order to knock him down so the others could get their hits. Zelrius was still smiling when the Other boar came, He knew there was no way he would lose this battle, No matter how hard the boars tried to survive.

Zelrius had to laugh, The boars moved slowly, and were now just crowded around his feet like geese. Only one had hit, and that was only because he wasn't aware of how quickly they would react despite being on the very first floor. No worries, He wouldn't let it happen again. he swung down at one, Hoping once again to get in a strike and damage the Boar Badly.

He had no souch luck. And since he had not backed up, The boar that had previously gotten an attack jumped up on its hind legs and tried several times to Snap at Zelrius, wanting to get a simple bite on him and deal even the tiniest bit of damage.

Since that seemed to work, the first Boar to follow that previous one was too jumping up and opening its jaws in order to get a nice bite of him and deal even the slightest bit of damage. Zelrius was liking the enthusiasm, remembering that these do not have any actual thinking so no matter what they would try and attack no matter how much of a higher level he was.

Zelrius learned his lesson quickly and leaned back to avoid the teeth of the second Boar. He giggled slightly at how they thought together, but never would stand a chance. His health simply out weighed theirs put together times two. That was the glorious thing about leveling on the First floor, The Field monsters stood no chance. The third boar tried this time to bite his ankle.

Without him Knowing, The boar had backed away and successfully stabbed Zelrius with a tusk. Yes, Zelrius was faster, but it didn't do him much good if he didn't even know the attack was coming. Zelrius backed up a little and then jumped to pounce right on to a boar and hopefully defeat it in nothing flat.

Zelrius grunted as his attack didn't once land a hit and left every single one of the remaining Boars untouched. He was getting a bit frustrated. He could see their figures well, but Zelrius knew his eyesight wasn't the best and it seemed to get worse ever day. He sighed and backed up a little as a boar came at him in speed.

It seemed to Zelrius only this boar was getting in attacks. He now realized that it was that Boar he needed to focus on since it clearly seemed more intelligent. Though that didn't make any sense since they were all just programs, Zelrius still just knew that it was that lone boar who was scoring hits. Another boar charged to stab into Zelrius
