[PP-F8] Hidden Tribal Land (Daeron, Zelrius)

Recommended Posts

Daeron had entered the 8th floor after the boss fight was over for the first time. He had figured that he needed to catch a break away from civilization and just leave for a while. Although he had abandoned his friends and his guild, he has also found out when he got back with the people, they had a new term for him. Unlike the term "beater" he was known as a "maverick" now. He had heard that his old friend Zelrius, was also stuck with the same title. After entering the starting village of the floor, he had caught Zelrius from his peripheral vision. Quickly, he ran over to ask Zelrius what it meant but decided not to.

Daeron had heard that the lands of this floor were mysterious and that there is a hidden tribal land, however nobody has ever seen it in person. Whether it's because everyone died going there, or it doesn't actually exist, he wanted to search for it. "Zelrius, how are you doing? Good to see you again. Anyways sorry for my very LONG absence, but I'm here now, care to go on a journey with me to get back into the spirit of being around people?", Daeron asked as he sent Zelrius a party request. He looked over towards his pet, Scorch, the phoenix Miaki had helped him get, and smiled knowing again how good it feels to be back.

Zelrius smiled, he was certainly glad to see Daeron back in the picture. This eased up things a little bit around the Guild matters as now there was no more "Struggle" and The Azure Brigade pulls far ahead in strength. He considered Daeron's offer and finally agreed. Stroking his Monstrous pet wolf, Miles, Zelrius said

"I wouldn't mind a little adventure, My fellow Maverick, Where are we headed, and why?"

Daeron smiled at Zelrius and began petting Miles. "Good to see you too Miles.", Daeron said as he stood back up. "Well I have heard of a lost tribal land that contains a very heavy metal that's intended for extremely heavy gear. However there's just one problem with getting there... Nobody has ever been able to mark a location." he said as he opened his blank map. Daeron equipped his weapon ready to fight already.

Zelrius smirked now. Now there was something interesting. No one having been there. Makes sense, There were only a few people who were a higher level than the two that stood face to face now, so it was only natural that no one had figured it out yet. Zelrius nodded and sent Daeron Map Info

"You missed a lot while you were away, We can converse about the events on out journey, let's get going, Shall we?" He said and began walking off

Daeron travelled throughout the trees in the forest, going through small villages of NPC's randomly amidst the floor. The world was so diverse from the others, it wasn't as empty as the plains and deserts by nearly as much. In fact, Daeron had looked at the map and saw a small orange glowing pulse on the map. "Zel, what the hell does this mean? I've never seen an orange blip on the map since I've entered SAO." he said as he began moving towards the blip.

Zelrius too had absolutely no clue to what the Blip was or what it meant. He as well had never seen an Orange Blip. The first thing that came to mind was a PKer, but was quickly dismissed when he remembered both he and Daeron were Mavericks. Sighing he merely shrugged and then continued to follow Daeron through the brush and Vines. He drew his sword, Zelrius was ready for a fight to begin. The Blood Buccaneer now had a smirk on his face as he guessed what unlucky sod they'd come across and kill with ease.

Daeron neared the Blip on the map, and moved past a few several bushes and branches. Finally as they stood near it, Daeron heard a shuffling of leaves from what sounded like heavy footsteps around them. The way the sound may have been taken is that they were being followed, but this wasn't a normal person. Why would someone run in front of two mavericks at the same time? Daeron continued walking, keeping in mind of the very quiet footsteps he was hearing. "Zel, get ready, someone is definitely by us." he said as he drew his Sepulcher's Blade. Finally in front of the two players ran a person. This person had no name tag above their head, meaning it was either an AI/NPC or a monster. When the person looked at them, it quickly charged at them with a crazed look. It was menacing at first, but it wasn't armed at all, with nearly no clothes covering his body.

Daeron stepped aside the person, to dodge the attack to find behind them was a second person, one who looked to be trying to sneak up behind the two. "What the-" he said as he saw they were ready to kill on command. Now finally a name had shown above their heads. <> above both heads.

Daeron prepared his weapon now, and had rushed forward at the first Tribal Warrior. Daeron needed to observe his enemy to see what they could do. Preparing for a heavy fight, Daeron checked his inventory to find four healing crystals in his inventory, in case the enemies were too tough, which was highly unlikely. Daeron rushed forward now at the warrior and swung his weapon in a vertical motion in a downwards motion, hoping to cut across the male figure's chest.

Battle Dice: 6 + 1 = 7 (2 Damage)

Scorch: (6-8: Heal 1 HP, 9-10: Heal 2 HP)

Daeron's weapon had slashed across the opponent's chest, leaving a red gash in place of where the cut would be. So far based on how the opponent reacted nothing seemed to be too absurd about these opponents, meaning they should be an easy fight and free experience for the two mavericks.

Zelrius loved the fight. If there was one thing the Boy with bad eyesight had any compassion for anything at all, It was killing things. Zelrius pulled out his newly forged weapon, Sange and set straight to work on the Enemies that lay infront of him. He lunged for the one Daeron had just hit, so hoping to get an attack.

Daeron watched as the Tribal warrior had avoided his attack. Without any hesitation, the tribal warrior retaliated with it's "partner" directly on Zelrius, because he was an easy target. They were trying to use a 'Dual Strike' which was where two opponents acted as one to deal double damage.

Battle Dice: 7 (2 Damage)

The two warriors, acted in perfect harmony, and took their hands and clawed the back of Zelrius as if they hard sharp claws. Somehow these tribal people were starting to spark some interest in Daeron, seeing new traits within monsters on new and upcoming floors.

Zelrius nodded, taking Sange an running Forth in order to stick it in one of the units that stood before him. This was his enemy? Pathetic, There wasn't an existing thing in Aincrad thus far, that could attack and kill the two Mavericks that now fought back-to-back. He smirked and lunged at the nearest enemy, sure that this battle was free exp, meaning more levels.

Daeron watched as the tribal warriors hit his friend Zelrius. After Zelrius had retaliated, he ran in behind his attack hoping to get another hit on the enemy. He swung his weapon in a diagonal motion hoping it would cut across the Warrior's chest. Like Zelrius was probably thinking, the more monsters and opponents there are, the more levels and experience he would get, making him a harder target to beat.

Battle Dice: 5 + 1 = 6 (2 Damage)

Daeron watched as his sword left the red cut across the warrior's chest. They weren't harmed much by it, but Daeron knew that these had to be the weakest rank and that there had to have been stronger enemies up ahead in the "village" they were assuming they were in.

The Male Tribal Warrior, felt the cut cross his chest. Although he had let out a decently loud grunt, he didn't show much harm to his body at all. Finally, the warriors reacted together once again, as if they were linked through their mind. And they both attacked Daeron, who was the most recent attacker, and had dealt the most damage so far.

Battle Dice: 2 (0 Damage)

The warriors tried to attack Daeron, however he saw past their attack and he had managed to avoid both of the attacks, leaving them wide open from the next two attacks that were impending their bodies.
