Going down the steps of the gate of the floor eight, Lisbeth looked around and smiled. This was a new place she had never been too. With her heart pounding in excitement, she took out her own blade and began to explored the lands. Thirty minutes later, she found herself in a terrible mess and wondered silently what the frigg had she been thinking.

Blocking an attack from a coming minotaur, she kept holding on to her beginners blade until the monster finally broke it and dealing her with what felt as a critical attack, Lis flew backwards and hit herself against a hard branch. Gasping for air even if she did not needed, she watched in horror as her blade disintegrated into pixels.

Looking back at the red-eye monster, she had no place to run and nothing to defend herself with. Another minotaur appeared and she knew then that she was very, very dead.

Miaki Murakami, also known as the <>, was scouting out a partly explored region of the eighth floor when he noticed two minotaurs attacking another player. He didn't think much of it and kept going until he heard the sudden sound of a shattering blade. He spun on his heel to investigate and saw the young girl stagger back with the handle of her blade still held in her hand before turning to polygon fragments as well. He crouched low to the ground and bolted forward towards the two beasts. Before drawing his own weapon, which was attached to the back of his trench coat for a change, he opened his menu and selected the first unused weapon he saw in his inventory, <>.

As soon as he inputted the command to materialize the weapon in his offhand, he drew his katana from his back. Now the system in Sword Art Online prevented players from using two weapons at once as far as players knew, however holding two weapons still worked, just not for combat. Any attempts to wield two weapons ended in an embarrassing epic failure on the players' behalf. Just before attacking one of the minotaurs, the battleaxe appeared in his left hand, using the momentum of his running forward, Miaki spun in a 360 degree twirl and tossed the axe over the tall monster.

"Here! Catch this!" He yelled as he moved in to attack one of the targets.

Battle Result: Massive Crit! 4 DMG!

Soon as the battleaxe was airborne, Miaki drew his katana and made a deep gash into one of the minotaurs between him and the girl in distress.

She really thought she was going to die there, but being too stubborn for her own good. Lis rolled on her back and got up quickly, doing a fighting pose. She hadn't notice the stranger nor recognize who he was; her eyes were too focus on the monsters advancing.

Her eyes widened as suddenly over the monster a blonde hair player appeared doing a 360 and throwing her way an axe. Lisbeth had never used one of those, though she wanted too and given the chance to do so and save her own life- she took it. Jumping up in air she catch it swiftly with both of her hands. As she landed she watched in awe as the stranger landed a very critical hit.

Remembering what she was supposed to do, she swiftly went after the same monster from the front, the axe's blade cutting through the air so it could strike the beast before she could advance on the other one.

"Thanks!" She called out, before a grunt escaped her as she moved past the beast and towards the second minotaur. Moving her body as far away from the close monster to avoid a hit.

As Miaki landed from his first initial strike he noticed the girl in distress grasp the battle axe he threw to her and charge the minotaur in front of her. Her attack was with such ferocity it was astonishing. In but mere seconds the once powerless young woman went from defenseless to a reckoning force. Miaki didnt have time to watch her for long as both minotaurs were ready to go and advancing on them both. "No problem!"

Miaki followed up the young warrior's attack on focused on the first minotaur he had hit first. Lunging forward he stabbed the first monster in the middle of its chest. He jumped back and held his arms out taunting the beast. "You want some of this? Come and get it!"

The minotaur roared and bore down with its scimitar down on the <>. Miaki blocked it with everything he had and only took a minor hit to his health bar. Nothing to worry about. Bending his knees, Miaki shoved the sword away and slashed at the beast twice, leaving diagonal gashes in its body.

He definitely had some boldness to him. Taunting the bigger animal with his words, Lisbeth observed the blonde male player moved as swift as he could and delivered an attack. If she hadn't been fighting one of the minotaurs, she would have sit down to watched him be in action. As the monster swing for an attack and miss, she tried to follow it with one of her on.

Sadly, her hit didn't land. She felt very inexperience with this new weapon as she hurriedly work on how to block and hit at the same time with it. This one was heavy, much more than the basic sword she had used. Taking a few steps back as the beast roar, she turned to look at her fighting comrade once more.

"Nice techniques!" She called out happily, before focusing once more in her opponent. Her health was trying to slowly recover from the hit she had received not so long ago.

"These... I have never seen them before," She cried out as once more she swung to hit and the beast block her strike.

The minotaur Miaki was facing was a bold as it was strong. With a loud roar the 2 meter monster clenched it's left fist and punched with a haymaker at Miaki. Not having enough time to evade the swordsman raised his blade to intercept the attack and reduce the damage taken by the punch. The large fist made contact with him and launched Miaki flying back hitting one of the railing posts that kept players from falling to their doom in the monster infested waters below. 'That one is gonna leave a bit of a mark.' He though to himself as he picked himself up. "I've encountered two of these once before with a friend of mine. Course at the time we didn't have the levels to face them and simply ran from them. But I've never seen one on this floor." He said to the girl close by.

The minotaur lurched forward and swung downward but Miaki jumped forward into and thrust his blade deep into the torso of the monstrosity. It began to lean forward into the blade bringing itself all the way to the hilt groaning in a weak tone. Miaki couldn't see the health bar which floated over the beast but assumed it was nearing zero as he twisted the blade in the gut of the beast.
