However, he didn't and as the boar approached, he jumped once again. This time, he didn't jump over the boar or run his sword across its back again, but rather landed on him. As he did so, he raised his sword, ready to end this poor fool's life, "Maybe your friend will have better luck." Miss... 0 damage. Fortunately for the boar, Zak didn't have any real hold on the beast's back, considering he had only been standing. He launched forwards and slid across the ground, quite impressed that the boar had actually done something notable, "There you go, that's more like it. Too bad it won't be happening again though." Zak 0 Posted August 5, 2014 Author #26 Report Share Posted August 5, 2014 Unfortunately, he'd have to hold off on the attack as the second boar cut him off, something Zak had totally ignored in his attempts to finish off the first boar. Both of them were currently only a single hit away from dying so perhaps this second boar could be a worthy sacrifice, "Oh, would you rather be first to die? That's fine by me!" Picking back up where he left off, he dashed forwards with sword raised, only needing a single cut to finish it off. Hit... 5 damage. In all honesty, Zak was ready to get this engagement over too so he didn't mind the quick fix, "Well, if you wanted to end this, you should have said something." Satisfied, Zak placed his sword back into his sheath, "Much, much better than yesterday. That's for sure." He looked around disappointed that there wasn't too many packs of boars around, but he did happen to find one more that was nearby, "Might as well grab some more loot before I head back, surprised I've gotten mats from all of them so far." Zak 0 Posted August 5, 2014 Author #31 Report Share Posted August 5, 2014 The boar had noticed Zak's approach and went to strike just as Zak did, but the two of them seemed to clash off each other; one using its tusk while the other used his sword. Neither of them seemed like they were going to be letting this fight go, but Zak would be first to attack this time, using a quick push to launch him in the boar's direction. He didn't expect the boar to fall in a single hit, but it certainly would lose the vast majority of its health if he did. Miss... 0 damage.
