Guest Posted September 8, 2014 #21 Share Posted September 8, 2014 "Oh! Welcome back! Griswold! The swordsman has returned!" Griswold walked up in mock disbelief. "Well well, guess I owe you some armour, don't I?" "You'd better believe." He collected the iron and smelted them down and making a large bar. He hefted it onto an anvil and brought his hammer above his head. "Wait!"
Guest Posted September 8, 2014 #22 Share Posted September 8, 2014 His arm halted in mid swing. I brought my menu up and showed Griswold the glass shard I'd found. "Can this be used in anyway with this armour?" He looked it over and responded. "Ah! This is a rare smithing material! Unfortunately, it has no benefits to this particular piece, except in visual appearance. Would you like me to incorporate it with the coat?" I thought it over. A rare material? Could be expensive. But the visual look of the coat with a rare material could be very expensive, should I ever sell it. "Sure, throw it in."

He brought his hammer up ounce more, and wailed on it with programmed accuracy. After a few strikes, the ingot glowed a bright crimson and grew much larger. As the light faded, Griswold held up my new light armour coat. It was beautiful. The red and gold colors I'd selected for it had taken the texture of interwoven crystals. The cuffs looked as if they had been made with actual gold, was so good the illusion. "It's called <<Dante's Inferno>> I am never selling this.
