Real name: Alexander Voss
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Height: 5'9"

Background:

Alexander was a boy born into luxury.  His father was the CEO of Voss Pharmaceuticals, a company that, while not completely global in its reach, was still close.  An incredible amount of wealth was given to the young man, allowing him to sit at the seat of luxury far beyond most people.  When he was younger, Alexander appreciated all of the toys and gifts that he had been given, and while he wasn't without the love of his parents, as many in his position sometimes were, he had started to grow bored with his life.  He had a maid, Westlyn, who was about his age and had given him some friendship along his early life, the boy playing with and enjoying the company of one his age, but even then, things had never really been 'fun' for him.

He was seemingly naturally talented at nearly everything he put his mind to, and so it didn't take him long to get into the realm of competition, but the direct confrontation that came from him dealing with people didn't always sit well with him, or his father, who wanted him to make nice.  It didn't do for the son of a CEO to make enemies with others, and so Alexander switched to try and do something that was a bit more anonymous- competitive gaming.  He was able to hide the fact of who he was while still dominating several fighting game conferences and able to be his usual overbearing self while doing so.  That eventually shifted into MMORPGs, which he was able to pour a fair amount of time into.

However, like most things, Alexander had started to grow bored.

And then as Sword Art Online and the NerveGear were announced, he had gone in on it.  He had the funds and didn't particularly mind to spend his father's money on something that might entertain himself.  He'd gotten his buy-in and had joined the ranks of those who had gotten it as well.  And then like so many others, he found himself trapped within the game.  He had no way to log out or escape, and assumed that his maid or his father would find a way to get him out.  But that never came.  And so he had turned his attention to the hundredth floor.  And for the first time he felt...interested.

Virtues

Focused - Alexander has no problem dedicating his focus into a particular endeavor and not becoming distracted with other things that would take his attention.  This allows him to keep his mind on a particular task without wandering and without something causing him to grow distracted or cause issue.  So long as he doesn't grow bored with it, he has the ability to continue to work at something beyond what he should.

Talent - The son of a Pharmaceuticals CEO has afforded him the best tutors and schooling that money can buy early on, and that, along with his own natural predelictions, has allowed him a rather large pool of raw talent.  He has very little difficulty in picking up and learning new things quickly, assimilating new skills and talents into his own skillset.  This has given him a wide array of skills and knowledge, although very little of it comes into play very often.

Resilient - Despite his upbringing, defeat and setbacks only make him that much more dead-set on victory.  So long as it doesn't kill him (as dying in SAO has even worse circumstances) will only make him stronger.  Losing will only let him see opportunities to improve, rather than dwell on his loss.

Flaws

Arrogance - Given that he's been given much of everything he wanted growing up, along with the fact that he has a fair bit of natural talent, Alexander tends to find himself overestimating his own ability a lot of the time and putting him into dangerous circumstances.  This, of course, puts him into dangerous situations that he has to struggle to make his way out of.  All the same, any one that he manages to survive or get away from the encounter, he just sees it as his own success and ways to improve in the future.

Cold - Not exactly a friendly sort, Alexander isn't good in dealing with others.  Having been raised in the lap of luxury, he doesn't do well with talking with others and being friendly.  He finds most conversations ending with others less-than-pleased with him or at least somewhat annoyed.

Entitled - In the same vein as the others, given that he's been raised with wealth, he feels that things are always owed to him.  So this leads to interactions with NPCs and PCs as well with him coming off as him needing (and requiring) more than anyone else.  Althought with some weak-willed individuals, sometimes that works in his favor.
