Ciela had left the comfort of her bakery as well as Wulfrin's blacksmith shop and home. She had not yet ventured off on her own quest by herself, but he was busy doing something with Nymoria, one of their newer friends. She didn't dislike the scenery around her, but forests were never really her thing. The waterfall that could be seen from the main bridge in Krycim was beautiful though, it was definitely her favorite view of them all. She and Perlita liked to go to the base of the waterfall and just play in the water. Ciela enjoyed watching Perlita swim through the small stream, catching fish as she quickly swam through. "Let's go Perlita, we need to find a spot for lunch." She was heading back up to the main bridge when she noticed someone walking behind her. She turned around and there was no one there. "I must be imagining things." The feeling still lurked in her mind. Someone was definitely watching her. She just didn't know who.

Ciela and her sea otter companion continued through the village. That feeling of being watched did not escape Ciela's mind. She equipped her armor and had her sword and shield at the ready as the pair exited the city. Ciela then noticed a person in a dark, hooded robe.

She put her hand on her sword and watched the hooded figure, taking note of their every move. She assumed they were an NPC and began to pay them no mind. 

That feeling that she was being watched began once more. Was the hooded figure the one watching her the whole time? She turned to where she saw the hooded figure and they were gone.

"Am I going crazy? I could've sworn that NPC was back there. We didn't go that far away." She snapped herself back to reality when a female voice spoke. "So... the little weakling has finally come out of hiding."

"So you are the one following me. Why are you following me?" She faced the hooded figure. Her hand still on her sword. 

"I heard you're trying to climb the ranks, even gotten close with a few high ranking players. Figured I'd see what all the fuss is about." Ciela could hear the evil grin creeping through the woman's voice. 

"You want a duel? Is that seriously it? You didn't have to follow me and bully me if all you wanted was a duel. You could've just asked." Ciela scolded the figure like a mother would scold her child. "Where are we dueling? Since it's all so important to you." Ciela had a tone of anger to her voice. She didn't like being watched nor being followed.

"I have the peeeerfect spot. Follow me." The hooded figure then began to lead Ciela toward one of the waterfalls near Krycim. That waterfall flowed into a pond. "That is where we will have our battle."

Ciela hesitated a moment then agreed. "Fine, your duel. You pick the place." Ciela wondered who this was. She hasn't been cross to any players at all, so why was this woman challenging her? 

As they walked toward the waterfall with the pond Ciela felt uneasy. The atmosphere felt as if it were darkening, almost as if there was some kind of bubble around the two. They finally arrived after what seemed like forever to Ciela. The entire time she racked her brain, trying to figure out how this woman knew her.

While Ciela was distracted, the hooded figure ran towards her. To which she stepped out of the way just in time. "Woah! Isn't there a menu I have to accept before we start!?"

The woman slashed at her, "What's wrong weakling!? Were you not prepared??" The woman then sheds her robe. She had silver hair and red eyes almost like an anti version of Ciela.

Ciela managed to dodge once more avoiding a blow from this woman. "Fine! You asked for it!" Ciela was seething with anger and planned to use it in her attacks.

Ciela prepared her attack against the woman. Ciela kept her mind sharp. She wasn't going to let the woman's looks distract her from what needed to be done. The woman dodged out of the way of her attack as Ciela swiped at her recklessly. She began to calm herself down as she knew if she continued to just swing recklessly she wouldn't get anywhere.

She redirected her anger into the power of her attacks, she didn't want the next attack to miss. She hoped it wouldn't.

The woman retaliated at Ciela and swiped at her with an urgency. As the woman did, she was hurt more than Ciela was. The woman barely did any damage as Ciela's armor absorbed most of the blow. Then the woman took damage from the thorns coming off of Ciela's armor. Ciela then piped up, "I may not have hit you this time around, but every time you hit me, you take damage. You barely do any damage to me. Who's the weakling now?" Ciela smirked at the woman that stood across from her.

This time, she managed to land an attack onto the strange woman who challenged her. The attack seemed to hit a bit harder than her usual attacks, doing more damage as well. Ciela watched the health bar as she usually did as it began to slowly drain. Ciela triumphantly stepped back from the woman. She managed to stun the woman, she was tired of calling her "strange woman" in her head. She began calling her Anti-Ciela instead. It fit the bill honestly. The woman stood at the same height as her, but instead of the short shoulder length copper hair that Ciela sported, the woman had shoulder length silver hair. The woman did not share Ciela's deep brown eyes, but instead had deep striking crimson red eyes, that in the right light seemed to almost glow. The woman had a plain plate armor set, it wasn't ornate and covered in thorns like Ciela's was. Ciela felt that it seemed like she was participating in her own version of the Dark Link fight from Ocarina of Time. It was a manifestation of the darkness in her heart that needed to be defeated before she could even think about going to the frontlines. At least.. that's how she's treating it.

The stun Ciela had placed on the Anti-Ciela had worn off, and so did her luck it seemed. She swiped once more and the Anti-Ciela jumped and dodged out of the way in almost the same way as Ciela would. Reinforcing the idea in Ciela's mind that this was exactly like the Dark Link fight.

Ciela is snapped out of her thoughts as Anti states, "You have to be quicker than that to hit me." Anti smirks, taunting Ciela once more. Ciela lets out a deep breath, trying to keep herself calm. Ciela hated when people would make fun of other people, especially when they meant it. She didn't mind if it was a friendly jab or two. Usually when people who are friends jab at each other jokingly, they rarely ever mean it. Knowing Anti was only trying to get on her nerves, she responded, "You think you're so powerful huh? You're just a copycat."

As Anti swiped at Ciela, she once again took damage from the thorns on Ciela's armor. Ciela was grateful for her armor and the benefits that came with it. Anti would have to whittle Ciela's health down slowly, while Ciela could do damage without even attacking. Not only that, her flame thorns seemed to activate and leave Anti burned. It wasn't much. But any damage counts when you're dueling.

Anti was still burned from Ciela's last attack. Ciela used this to her advantage as she slashed at Anti. Once again, she watched as Anti's health bar dropped lower and lower. Ciela felt as if she had a leg up on Anti. Ciela held up her shield in preparation for an attack from Anti. She began to think to herself what Anti would even want from her. She even began to think that Anti might be a player killer. She had seen Freyd disguise himself before when they were in front of Abdullah, so it's safe to assume that most players have access to that ability. 

Just as Ciela expected, Anti landed an attack on Ciela in retaliation. Just the same as last time, Anti did less damage to Ciela than Ciela's armor did to her. The damage from Ciela's armor alone was outpacing the damage that Anti could do to her.

Ciela retaliated at Anti for the last attack, but missed Anti by an inch. Anti began to cackle in a mocking way. Ciela sneered at Anti, having none of the attitude Anti was giving her and not falling for her bull crap for a second. She knew Anti was just egging her on to let her guard down and strike when the time was right. And strike Anti did. Anti once again slashed at Ciela with gusto. Ciela felt as if her luck was beginning to run out. While Ciela had more health than Anti, there was a little voice in the back of her head saying that she wouldn't win. She began thinking about Wulfrin and all the friends she's made since leaving the Town of Beginnings. It made her feel a bit better, and shut that voice up. Anti's health bar was well below half now, while Ciela's was still pretty full.

Once again Ciela laid into Anti. Anti's health bar changed from yellow to red soon after Ciela's blow landed. Ciela knew that beating Anti was possible, but would she run out of energy before Anti ran out of health? Ciela's basic attacks only did 8 damage which would only do 1 damage to Anti due to the mitigation provided by Anti's armor. Ciela would have to rely on Anti's ability to land attacks on Ciela. The damage from Ciela's armor alone would have to pull the deadweight that could potentially be Ciela's inability to perform basic attacks. She laughed to herself. She was panicking in her head before even running out of energy. She took a deep breath out as she began raising her shield too little too late. Anti's attack collided with her and once again damaged Anti more than Anti could damage Ciela. 

Ciela's eyes met Anti, "You're reaching your end."

Ciela missed her attack once more, her attacks becoming intermittent. The last attack that Anti performed left Anti burned so she knew that she could at least count on a little bit of damage. Anti's health bar was red, while Ciela's was still green. One more attack and Ciela would have Anti on the ropes. As Anti attacked once more, Ciela watched as Anti's health bar dropped to just a red sliver. A sound of triumph played in Ciela's head. 

Anti began to back up, "I did not realize that you were so powerful." Ciela walked over to Anti and offered Anti her hand to help her up. 

"You lost, now please leave me alone." Ciela helped Anti up and turned away.

Anti spoke softly, "Thank you, hopefully someday soon I'll get stronger and challenge you once more. Until then, stay alive." Ciela turned to respond but before she could, Anti was gone.

Ciela picked up her little otter companion. "That person sure was an enigma weren't they Perlie?" Ciela began thinking about the battle that just finished. What was Anti's motive? Were they just there to challenge players or were they a player in disguise? Ciela remembered for a quick moment that she'd swiped away a menu to help Anti up. She looked through her menu's to find that she'd been awarded a new skill. The skill was called Concentration. She planned to take note of it to read it later. She didn't feel as if taking a moment to read it here was a very smart option, especially since she knew this wasn't a safe zone. She began making the trek back to Krycim. She would use this opportunity to search for materials. She needed them badly, especially since people have been placing big orders in her shop. Materials are necessary for her to fill orders, extra materials are never a bad thing.

Ciela and Perlita had begun their trek back to Krycim. When heading here from Krycim it felt like a shorter trek. Ciela didn't recognize anything from the previous journey. Thankfully, she could see it off in the distance so she headed that way. As she and Perlita walked, she began to search for materials once more. She wasn't wasting the opportunity to find something and further her foraging career.

As they walked along Ciela heard a loud growl. Wulfrin had warned her of the different mobs on Floor 6 and what could potentially jump out at her. Not feeling as if she was ready to take something on yet, she picked up Perlita and began to walk at a bit of a quicker pace. She stumbled over a tree limb, and the menu popped up saying she got materials. She unenthusiastically exclaimed, "....yaaaaay..." She spit out the mouthful of dirt that she inhaled and trekked on.

After what seemed like forever, they finally reached the outskirts of Krycim. Ciela let out a sigh of relief as she entered the village.

Ciela and Perlita having finally returned to Krycim, she went back to the spot that they had enjoyed before being distracted by Anti. She placed her blanket down on the ground. Sticking close to that waterfall the pair played under earlier. 

Since they were in a safe zone, Ciela unequipped her armor and sword but was prepared to reequip them at a moments notice. Should that moment arrive. 

As per usual Ciela had prepared lunch for the pair. She had even left some behind at home for Wulfrin. Ciela wondered what he was doing. She could picture it vividly. He was probably off fishing nearby the forge, prepping new player gear at the forge, or leading some starry eyed new player out of the Town of Beginnings as he did quite often.

Ciela laid out Perlita's little fish treats and took out her lunch. She had made homemade potato chips and a simple bacon sandwich. She began to dig in as Perlita greedily ate her little fish treats.

The two ate their lunches without any interruption. Ciela relaxed for a moment, enjoying the sounds of the river and the waterfall next to them. It was so loud she could barely hear herself think. "After lunch I believe I'm gonna sit under the waterfall and enjoy the rush of water against my skin. Would you like to sit with me Perlita, or would you like to chase some of the fishies?" Ciela watched as Perlita eyed the little fish in the water and was given her answer. 

Ciela put her basket and blanket back into her inventory and changed into a bathing suit. She had changed into a black strappy low cut swim dress and sat on the rock that was perfectly placed below the waterfall. As Ciela began to relax she was splashed by a large droplet of water. She laughed and wiped her face as Perlita dove into the water. She only wished Wulfrin was here to enjoy the fun and relaxation. He truly needs it.

Ciela relaxed up against the rock wall and let the water from the waterfall massage her back. Ciela had almost what was like war flashbacks to the waterfall on Floor 2 when her and Wulfrin had to sit under the waterfall and get absolutely blasted by it. This waterfall had by far less power behind it and was more like the waterfall equivalent of the gentle crashing of waves on the ocean shore. She appreciated the relaxation. Ciela hadn't been sleeping in as she usually did since Wulfrin was taking her out early in the morning right after he'd get back from the forge. Which meant she would wake up at the butt crack of dawn. Wulfrin had recently been helping her get ready for the frontlines so they've been making plans on how they can make sure she's ready.

Their wedding coming soon has also had her slightly stressed, thankfully the system has a way to plan it all and she doesn't have to do much of that. Boy was she happy about that. Wedding planning was hard enough, but also prepping herself for the frontlines would've been a deadly combination. Maybe not deadly but she definitely wouldn't have had a very fun time.
