» Appearance: JamesD is a 5"3 tall male, slim build with short dark brown hair and dark green eyes. Usually dresses in dark colours and prefers to travel light with no heavy armour or items to wear him down.

» Personality: JamesD is a quiet and anti-social individual. He prefers the company of himself and sometimes a small group of close friends. He didn't bring any friends into the game and so had a difficult time making friends, especially after it turned into the dangerous death game. He has shown to be kind in occasionally helping out lower levels so that they do not needlessly die when he could have saved them.

» History: Originally from the UK he moved to Japan during the beta tests for SAO and later was one of the "lucky" few to acquire a copy on public launch. Although unable to speak fluent Japanese he was able to function normally in the game with a language add-on he purchased to compensate this issue. The add-on converts the languages as he speaks, writes and listens so well that others players cannot tell he isn't Japanese.

» Virtues:

Cautious: Whether it is meeting new people or a new area, he carefully and cautiously approaches any problem silently weighing up his options for the best outcome.

Loyal. Although hard to get to know him at first, any friend who breaks down his walls is a good friend. He is a loyal friend and helps his friends when they need it, even leaving a quest or scouting to go help them.

Tactical. He is not build for straight up fighting, he fights sneaky and smart. He studies his surroundings and people before jumping into any scenario. While he is not in a party he prefers staying out of fights relying on his hiding, searching and acrobatic skills to stay out of fights he doesn't need to do to explore.

» Flaws:

Anti-Social: He prefers working and being alone. Finding it hard to make new friends or trust anyone. The appearance of red and orange guilds targeting solo players and small parties have made things worse for his trust.

Lazy: Not usually an outside person he doesn't do much in real life and prefers time on the computer, playing video games and watching movies. But the game changed him.

Mistrusting: After the death game began he did not know who he could trust. Starting this game without any real world friends he had to rely on himself and be careful about anyone he came across.
