She had realized that almost everyone she knew had a profession in Aincrad, and she was one of the few rare ones who did not. She decided to go and look for a profession, and she walked around the town, seeking for all the NPC trainers before deciding on the one that she would want. Link to post Share on other sites
Rebekah 0 Posted September 6, 2014 Author #2 Report Share Posted September 6, 2014 Rebekah had always been very interested to cook, so when she arrived at the cooking school where the cooking NPC instructor was, she was very excited. She immediately took on the quest, in which she had to go and obtain several types of meats (boar, cow, chicken) before she would be taught how to cook. She knew that it would take luck if she was going to be able to gather the types of meats that she needed. Hopefully, it does not take a long time, so she could finish up the quest. She felt bad for it, but why did she feel that way for a monster in this game. She charged right at it, and tried to kill it, but she had failed her first attack. However, the attack was easily evaded by the girl, as she had predicted that the boar would charge directly at her. She had fought boars before, and she knew their attack patterns. She tried to repeat her first combat move against the monster, hoping that it would work once again. Unfortunately, the attack move did not work, and she would need to try something else. This time, instead of charging right at her, it switched up its attack, and it took out its sharp nails at the last minute, to swipe her instead of tackling it. However, she did not realize that she had swung and missed completely, and had not managed to damage the wild boar. She managed to evade the attack by kicking a rock towards the pig, and forcing it to trip up, and fall to the ground. She looked at the pig lying on the ground. She took her sword and sliced the pig before it could escape. She had done it, it may have taken her a while, but she has finally did some damage against the boar. Once, it had gotten far away, just enough so that she could not stand there to attack it, it looked for the opportunity to attack. However, it had wasted its chance to attack by running away. This time, she was determined not to let her attack be mitigated, so she tried out a new battle move that she had not yet used during this battle. It tried to bite the girl this time, however, she managed to avoid its jaws by pointing her sword at it. That had surprised the pig, and it could not bite the girl. She looked over at the boar for one last time, or what she thought was the last time, and attacked it. Yet, the boar managed to dodge her attack completely, as she had missed. It tried to jump on her, but she fended it off rather easily by using her rapier to stop its advances. This battle was starting to take a while for her to complete, and now its beginning to favour the monster, which does not tire out at all. It tried its hardest to scratch her, but it had deflected off her leather battle coat, and bounced right off to the side. It was now laying on the floor, ready for her to attack once again. She had finally slain her first of the three animals she needed to finish her quest. Luckily for her, she receive a drop of boar meat, so she can now move on to the other two. She had gotten her first item to finish her quest, and now would like to receive her second. She knew that it may take a while for others, but she was able to get the locations of where to find the animals that she would be hunting, or at least the general location. She saw a pair of chicken together, and decided that they were the easiest way for her to finish this quest. She runs towards the pair to attack, but they both jump in 2 separate directions, and became lost over which one to follow, as her brain told her to attack the first one, while her body wanted to attack the second one.
