Alexis Wolfe was born in America to a struggling family in a small town. It wasn’t long until her father was out of the picture leaving her in the custody of just her mother. She was too young at the time to really understand what had happened to her father and her mother wasn’t very keen on talking about it. Alexis didn’t want to be a burden on her mother so she opted to not press her on the subject.

That didn’t hold her back though. Early in life, Alexis picked up many hobbies to distract herself from an empty family life. In high school, she picked up archery as an after school club activity and in her free time she got very interested in video gaming. Gaming would lead her into a more expensive hobby, and one that she would eventually turn into a career: Fashion and Cosplay.

Fast forward to today, or recently close to Sword Art Online’s release, Alexis would be attending a convention in Japan. This is ultimately where she would purchase a NerveGear and a copy of the game. What a waste of money that would end up being. She was found in her hotel room soon after friends noticed her absence at the convention. Since being locked in to a game of death Alexis - going by the name Tauropolos the Blessed of Artemis - would continue her work for cosplay at the very least. Joining the players in the fight was not really her forte. She certainly had experience with gaming but not enough about MMOs to play the game confidently. The assault on the happening on the opening of the 29th floor bosses' room has changed her perspective though. No one here was safe from death unless they became stronger.

Virtues

   Disciplined - Archery is not the most physical sport compared to others but it takes commitment and dedication to be a real archer. Despite never being the top of her class, Alexis became a talented shot and took her place on the club's team very seriously. She is patient and has excellent form, making her a deadly foe since she learned that bows are a thing in the game.
   Compassionate - Her upbringing was not kind to her but that does not give her the excuse to treat others in that fashion. Strangers will find her to be pleasant but cordial, and friends as an upbeat hopeful(Though she has not found many amongst the denizens of Aincrad). That compassion may be a fault but she would rather be kind to a mean person than ever be that mean person.
   Creative - Amongst the several hobbies she partakes in, Alexis prefers originality. Cosplay especially requires creativity to be realized, along with a little bit of role-play and presentation of course. Out of the box thinking is an arrow that will pierce her prey should she simply dock it.

Flaws

   Indecisive - Being a creative relies on never settling on something you create as perfect. This often leads Alexis to becoming more and more picky about how she handles some situations, even hesitating in stressful situations. It's a trait that she is working on but no better time to be pressed on that than life or death.
   MMO Inexperience - How was she supposed to know that they first MMO she would think about trying would throw her into a life or death situation? Instead of attempting learn as a novice in such a dire situation, Alexis hid and continued her love costume and cosplay making. With her change of heart, however, she has decided to thrust her hand into the fire. Dying here was the last thing she wanted after all.
   Easily Unnerved - While she didn't necessarily suffer from intense anxiety, Alexis did have problems preforming under high amounts of pressure. This was the biggest factor that held her back from being one of the best archers in high school competitions. Mixed with her indecisiveness, she can easily be caught off guard.
