Angel wandered the streets of the first floor, his sword at his side and his shield on his back. Around him he heard the sounds of nervous players talking among themselves. The death game had a way of shaking up people, but not Angel. He just kept walking down the street, his eyes forward and his head held high. His short, spiky white hair rustled in the wind while his trademark smile lit up his whole face. After taking a deep breath, he looked around and found a lone bench on the sidewalk. He shrugged and walked over to it. "I might as well rest before going into the field today." He said to himself as he took a seat and opened his menu.

Cindelika noticed the player that had sat by her. He hadn't even noticed her there... She peeked at the screen, attempting to see his level and name. His name was <> and was level 12.... She slowly looked around and noticed all the players walking around. She leaned over and said, "This town is packed full!" she looked around. Then looks to the player that she had found the name of, <>… "So, your level 12?" she asked, wondering if he would notice she was talking to him.

As always, players stared at her. She had never really been beautiful on the outside in the real world besides muscles, but Sword Art Online took the need of muscles away and she couldn't changer her clothes... No shop had she entered. But then she looked back to <>…

Angel looked up, suddenly hearing a voice next to him. He looked to his left and saw a small girl sitting next to him. He quickly closed his menu. "Umm, hello. I'm a, I'm Angel." He said, holding his hand out to the girl. "It's a pleasure to meet you miss, Cindelika? Sorry if I mispronounce it. It's very, unique." He said, his body and mind returning to their usual manner. He looked her over, trying to size the player up. She was smaller than him, like most players in SAO. He also noticed that she had a curious look in her eyes, even if she didn't mean to show it. Angel didn't personally judge people based on outward appearances, so he didn't care if people were attractive or not. He just liked their personalities. "So, what brings you to Floor 1? You resting up or waiting to go?" He asked, referring to going out hunting.

Oh... Um........ Cindelika looked around not wanting to tell <> why she didn't want to be on a higher floor...

She then looked at her knees. She didn't have any idea what she would say.... Soon she looked around anstatd to say "um... I ju-" but she just couldn't handle it. She then blurted it out "Im scared, Angel!" Cindelika fell to the ground, afraid of what he would say to that. But she soon stood back up and stared at him with a blank look but a deep expression inside of him.

As Cindelika told Angel the truth, all he could manage at first was a small grin. Then he leaned a little closer to her and with the same grin said, "Good, that means you're still human." He then leaned back against the bench and starred up at the sky. "There's nothing wrong with being scared. Everyone gets scared, so why should you be any different?" He asked before looking back down at her. "If your scared, that means you've still got some emotions in there. Believe it or not, some people have given up on themselves because of fear. But because you're here, talking to me, that means you have yet to give up. But I'll tell you what; what if I were to join you out in the fields? Would you still be scared?" He asked this because he hated seeing a girl in distress over, well anything really. That and he felt that when lower level players were accompanied by someone of a higher level, they tended to feel safer.

I've Ben in the field before...... she said, acting courageous or attempting to. I've been in the fields a few times, even saved a player once. But she had also came close to dying before aswell...

what are we going to fight against? As they walked, Cindelima began to jog ahead of him with a quick skied pace, and ends up on the edge of the city. She waited for him to askAre you ready? like they always do.

Angel shrugged as they walked, his hands behind his back. He kept smiling as he followed the enthusiastic girl towards the fields. When asked about their prey, he looked beyond her at a single hill on the horizon. "How about we start small and move up? Let's just get to that hill and then we'll go from there, alright?" Then, as they reached the edge of the safe zone, he drew his sword and shield and looked down at Candelika. "You ready to go?" He asked, waiting for her move.

Cindelika pulled out her spear of her inventory. All she could think of saying is, "I like the crystals when they explode from the beast!" like a little girl. Then she ran out of the safe zone and at a 4 HP wolf. She swung her spear around then dove at the sleeping <> in the grass.

Angel followed behind her quickly as she struck the monster. His shield was up and his sword was primed, ready to strike. After Cindelika got out of the way, Angel swung his sword down at the monster......

Damage: 1 + 1(Skill) + 1(Sword Rank) = 3

.....The blade cut clean through the wolf and it fizzled for a moment before exploding into a bunch of blue and white pixels. As the loot window opened, he saw that he had obtained a crafting material, a patch of <>. He sighed and looked over at Cindelika. "Let's keep going to the hill." He said as he balanced the sword on his shoulder.

The Next Enemy was stronger than the last by a trillion miles. The next enemy they faced was a big mini-boss monster <>… it had 12 HP and would not be defeated easily... Cindelika readied her spear as she stared at it then charged, lunging forward when closed in.

Angel saw the tree troll rise out of the ground itself, tearing up the landscape and making a terrible roaring noise as it did so. The creature seemed to be a mixture between a treant and a mountain troll, a perfect combination of nature and raw strength. Resting in it's hand was a large wooden club with a spike through the middle. Angel cocked his head to the side. "Didn't see that coming." He said to himself as he readied his sword and shield for combat. He took a few steps forward and then dashed at the treetroll.....

Damage:1(base) + 1(skill) + 1(Critical) + 1(Weapon) = 4 total damage

..... His blade cleaved into the monster's shoulder, running down to its waist. A little deeper, and the monster would have lost its arm. Then he ripped his blade out of the monster's arm and jumped back. He hit the ground and quickly got up, pointing his sword at the monster.

Gianormous Tree Troll - 6/12(-4 HP)

[MONSTER POST]

Ginormous Tree Troll, that was his name. And yet here he was being nearly defeated by two mere players. It was disgraceful! As the female struck him with a spear and the male nearly removed his arm, his rage seemed to grow with every strike. Finally, he brought his club up and readied his arm for a massive swing. He pointed the spike forward, hoping to impale one of the players.

But the players were too nimble for him as he missed his strike. They both seemed to dodge the club and this just enraged him even more.

Cindelika saw that the <> dropped to the ground, and felt a little bad for the poor thing that was controlled by Cardinal. But when big things fall, big things happen. When it fell down, it caused a mini earthquake probably all around floor 1, surprisingly.

Cindelika fell to the ground, getting up immediately. She had her spear up as she leaped at it in a tackle form, lunging forward when locked in.

Cindelika missed and fell to the ground then yelled to Angel, "SWITCH!"

Angel felt the monster crash to the ground and he braced himself with his sword. When the shaking stopped, Angel picked his weapon back up and charged forward, eager to cause more damage to the monster. As he lunged at it, it looked up from the ground. Angel smiled a crazy smile as he stabbed down....

....But apparently the Tree Troll had different plans. While Angel was still in mid air, the monster reached up and grabbed him with its free hand. It was like a vice grip had closed around his waist as Angel began to feel his virtual bones start to strain under the pressure. He groaned as he attempted to escape while the monster stood back up.

[MONSTER POST]

"Silly human," he thought to himself as he gripped the large boy in his meaty hand. "I'm stronger than you." He laughed to himself as he squeezed the boy as he cried out in pain. He laughed again, this time louder and more sinister. Then his eyes feel on the small girl. She was some distance from him, and the more he looked at her, the more he began to get an idea. He looked down at the boy, and then at the girl; then he smiled. He brought his arm back and attempted to throw the boy like a baseball at the girl...

..... The boy flew out of his hand and crashed into the dirt near the girl. But unfortunately he did not hit her in the process. He shrugged as he lifted his club onto his shoulder. "One is better than none." He thought to himself.

Cindelika saw what had happened and screamed, "Angel!" immediately she was over there, but that was probably what the tree troll wanted... Was them closer together. She attempted to help him up then told him, "I can do this! And I will, no matter what!"

Cindelika sent the giant troll flying onto the ground as she helped Angel up. Then she backed away and called, "switch!"

Angel stood up, holding his ribs until they stopped aching. Then his eyes fell onto the Tree Troll. He cocked his head to the side with a curious look on his face. Then he rushed forward, sword pointed straight at the troll. He gripped the hilt tightly, ready to end it. Then he planted his feet and jumped straight up. He arched his body and dive bombed the Troll....

[Dice; 1 CRITICAL FAILURE]

....This time, the consequences for his mistake were far greater. When he was close enough, the Troll swung it's arm in a wide arch, bringing the massive club with it. The spike in the center of the weapon came around and stabbed right through Angel's chest, bringing his along with the weapon's trajectory. The Troll spun and finished his attack by driving Angel into the dirt, bringing the club on top of him. A terrible CRUNCH was heard as Angel lay motionless on the ground.

The Tree Troll laughed a terrible, thundering laugh as he crushed the boy into the dirt with his club. "Silly, silly human!" He said as he laughed some more. Then his attention shifted over to the girl. He smiled as he raised his club once again, eager to do more damage against the players...

The Troll bellowed with joy as he successfully hit the smaller player with his club. She was sent flying to the side, landing near the boy's body in the process. "Oh poo," He said as he looked at his club. "No spike damage." Then he shrugged. "Time to finish the job." He thought as he walked over to where the two players rested.

Cindelika was motionless on the ground... Couldn't get up at all. She saw Angel beside her, suffering way more damage then she did. She was able to attempt to get up though... As she tried, she was yelling, "Must get up, must get up," the tree troll was coming and she had to.... She lifted herself with her spear and lightly tapped Angel saying, "Get up, its coming back!"

She couldn't waste time though. She slept into the air at it, spear and all, pretending to be a spear thrown by Angel at it. Maybe if it thought that it would be more scared of Angel...

The troll popped into a million bajillion crystal shards.

Angel slowly opened his eyes. He blinked a few times, somehow aware that he was out of danger. Then he propped himself up on his arm and looked around. Sitting next to him with spear in hand, was Cindelika. He rolled over and instantly a sharp pain shot through his ribs. "Agh, what happened? It feels like I was hit by a truck, with a spear on the front." He groaned as he starred up at the sky. That was one of his rougher fights in a long time. After a minute or two, he started to smile. Then he started to laugh. "Well, that was fun." He said, almost to himself. "What do you want to do now?" He asked, looking over at her weakly.
