"That isn't actually its name, that would be Monkey King, but doesnt change the fact that its a king and a giant gorilla." Wulfrin, Riardon, and KnightinGale made their way through the jungle to the small village of Florenthia, Wulfrin providing specific instructions on how to go undetected. When they arrived, Wulfrin made a bee line towards Remmington, one of the village guards. He wanted to get this ball rolling as fast as he could. This was a speed run after all, and the goal was to get two new players access to a decent sword art in their arsenal. "Hey Remmington," Wulfrin spoke up as he approached the guard. "Is Sewallus around? I've got some peeps planning to take down the Monkey King." "He should be," Remmington replied as the swordsman approached. "Check by the barracks we just came back from testing the beast ourselves. These people may be NPCs, but that doesn't mean you should talk to them with a lack of respect, a point that Wulfrin never seemed to understand, and that rubbed Riardon the wrong way some times. Riardon took it upon himself to lead the conversation with the other NPC they were pointed to. "Excuse me are you Sewallus?" Riardon asked an elven man currently being bandaged up by a fellow elven nurse. "Yep," Sewallus confirmed as he looked towards the group. "Got into a bit of a tussle with a giant monkey. Maybe it has to do with the repetitive nature of the quest, but Sewallus was at least more tolerable than Abdullah. Though how would he know about Kumatetsu? That was unrelated to his questline. The only answer Wulfrin could find was that word must travel fast within the jungle. Wulfrin's mind continued to ponder the odd circumstances of NPC behavior the entirety of the journey. "We're here," Wulfrin spoke up breaking the silence of the quiet journey. "Here's the plan. I'm going first to hit him and lower his defenses. Riardon, you go for the stun. KnightinGale, you hit him hard. Sewallus, you're scripted just do whatever it is your program tells you." As Wulfrin finished his little speech, a roar echoed through the trees. A massive behemoth of a gorilla barreled out into view and in a few seconds Wulfrin was directly beneath it driving his blade into its chest. * * * Recovery?
