Enya 0 Posted 17 hours ago #1 Share Posted 17 hours ago (edited) It was early, the sun was just about to rise. A small breeze in the air causing her short hair to flutter behind her. Grabbing her sketch book from the side table, tucking it under her left arm. Rubbing her eyes with her right fist, she felt alone. Years have passed and even trying to speak with another player was a mistake. It was like they were to busy to even know that she existed. It was more or less feeling like back home when not a living soul that pasted her house wanted to talk to her. They wouldn't even make eye contact which was very sad. The only difference between here and home was that she didn't have her butler or her nice cook to talk to. She heard what the man in the sky said, but what could she do. She didn't want to go out and die by some random enemy that decided to look in her direction. She though coming here was going to be different, that no one knew who she was so she at least had a chance to make even a single friend. No one was giving her the time of day. Sitting a few feet from the exit, the town of beginnings is where she would stay. It seemed the safest place at least for the time being. Setting her pad on her lap, flipping to an empty page. She had spent her time drawing, it was a good way to past time and to not get into her own head about things that she couldn't control. It was something to focus on. Pulling a few pastels and pens of various colors from her inventory, she would begin to draw the grass. Every morning the sun would rise between two mountain peaks in the far distance, this was the first time she got up in time to see it. Lightly outlining the peaks, they had to have a small fading factor because there was a bit of fog. Glancing up from paper and seeing trees to the left, grabbing a brown pastel in her right and a dark green in the other. These were easier to blend with. Drawing the trunks close together, it looked like a forest. Switching colors as tiny lines are drawn, she rubs her thumb on the green outward but lightly. She had just began but it was already looking like a exact view of what she was looking at from the other side of the towns doors. This is what she could control, what made her happy. This is what she would focus on. If people didn't want to be her friend or even give her a chance, this is what she would do. <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 2 Paragon: 0 Tier: 1 True Tier: 1 Final Exp Reward: +0% Enya | HP: 40/40 | EN: 22/22 | DMG: 6 | ACC:1 Spoiler Enya, The Artist True Tier: 1 Level: 2 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 40/40 EN: 22/22 Stats: Damage: 6 Accuracy: 1 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Rare Rapier: +1 DMG, +1 ACC Skills: - Rapier R2 Edited 16 hours ago by Enya
Kodo 0 Posted 16 hours ago #2 Share Posted 16 hours ago (edited) Fixing his cuff link as he was down the brown wooden stairs of the Inn. He hasn't heard Kaylie's voice in almost a month. Maybe it was because he was no longing trying to off himself. He was trying to enjoy what was given to him, which really wasn't much. Not really wanting to fight he spend his days wondering the first floor in the town of beginnings helping NPC's. It might sound a bit odd but everyone else looked at him funny. It's like they had never seen a kid with green hair before. Whatever the case may of been, he was used to it. All that time in school, people would stare dagger in his direction. It was odd because they never did that with his sister. It could of been that she was just super beautiful and they didn't care what color hair she had. Tapping the counter twice, this is where he had been staying since the Freya, Freyd, and Lium thing happened. They were putting way to much stock in what he should be doing with his life here. To be honest he was perfectly fine with doing nothing. The more time he thought about it the more okay he was being when alone. A coffee was set on the counter, "On the house Kodo" He just shakes his head and takes out a few col. "You should knew me better than that Mike," saying as he sets the col down and picks up the coffee cup. Placing a few more "Bread too please," "Hey I had to try," the man says with a chuckle as he gets under the counter and sets the loaf on the top. Pushing that door open with his shoulder as both hands were occupied, right as he was about to take a bite of the bread, he stops. Eyes fall upon that girl again, he has seen her everyday since he got back on his feet. It was always in a different place of the town but she frequented that drawing pad. This girl was never doing anything else but drawing. That made him think that she had no body here with her. Taking a deep breath, he really didn't think that talking to her was going to end well, it never did for him. His sister would want him to try though... Walking slow to the girls side, standing above her. That would have been way to intimidating, "Do you mind if I sit with you?" His voice was kinda quiet but he sees the girl look up to him, her eyes start to fall light she was thinking but finally she shakes her head and continues to draw. Taking a seat next to her, seeing the drawing, his eyes widen. "That is really good, you a professional artist or something?" Kodo had not a clue how to talk to people let alone girls. Looking up from the paper and glancing to where the girl kept taking a peak, it looked identical, almost perfection. Who was this girl? <<Assisting Enya>> Level: 2 Paragon: 0 Tier: 1 True Tier: 1 Final Exp Reward: +5% Kodo | HP: 40/40 | EN: 22/22 | DMG: 9 | HLY: 2 | PARA-V Spoiler Kodo True Tier: 1 Level: 2 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 40/40 EN: 22/22 Stats: Damage: 9 HLY: 2 PARA-V Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Dreams of the Sublime +2 | T1 Perfect 1hCS | DMG, Holy, Para Ven. Enya 0 Posted 3 hours ago Author #3 Share Posted 3 hours ago Finally finishing the sun rise, the orange, red and yellow beauty that shined upon the horizon. It was time for the small amount of clouds that could be seen. Switching out a few of the pastels and pen, she does a faint outline in black then uses the grey and white to blend them into fluffy clouds. Lightly smearing the peaks of the mountains to make it look like the light grey fog was illuminating from them. Why was this dude talking to her, why now. He had every opportunity days even weeks prior so why now. Did he want what she had, was he secretly spying on her to gather intel. Did he know her schedule... Well that wasn't hard because she spend all day in daze drawing. Was he just lonely and wanted a friend. All these questions and yet she didn't want to ask a single one. What if she said the wrong thing and he left laughing at her, or she said to much and now he would think her weird and walk away. Her mind was racing with the unknown possibilities and it was driving her nuts, she was unsure what to do. He comments on her art, -he likes my art- thinking still unsure if she should speak. Maybe she should just pretend to be mute, she read that in a book once. He asks a question, she nods her head for an answer. Out of the corner on her eyes she sees a half loaf of bread being handed to her. She was hungry, taking the bread, setting the coloring stuff down and to the side. Her face turns a soft red, she could feel the heat building up in her cheeks. She tears a small piece off and puts it in her mouth, chewing super softly so that she didn't scare him off. To be honest she had no idea how to act, she never had friends back home and the two people she did connect with were being paid to even be there. Enya didn't know what to do... Kodo 0 Posted 3 hours ago #4 Share Posted 3 hours ago Sitting there is silence as they both ate their bread. Was she mute, or did she just not want to talk to him. He couldn't help to think that he was the problem. The girl wouldn't even look at him. Did the green hair make her instantly not like him, in the past it was a big factor to why no one would speak to him. Maybe this was just another one of those times. The bread was gone now from both their hands and still not a word. Giving a sigh, "I'll be going now, sorry to be a bother," as he starts to get up before feeling a hand on his ankle. Looking down to meet her brown eyes, "You don't want me to leave?" The girls quickly shakes her head flinging her hair to either sides of her face. "Okay then I'll stay," sitting fully back down, the girl releases her hand and picks up her drawing pad and just stares at it not looking at him again. Taking a sip of his coffee, it was a mint chocolate mocha blend. "Do you speak," seeing her slowly nod her head for a yes. So she just didn't want to speak, there had to be a reason for that and given how she reacted to him trying to leave, it was for the same reason he had. The girl was afraid of something, maybe talking to much, saying the wrong thing. "Okay, I'll tell you what. We will play a little game. You ask me a question and I answer truthfully to the best of my ability. I'll do the same, this will give us a change to break the tension between us." He sees the girl nod his head so he waits for her to ask the first question.
Enya 0 Posted 3 hours ago Author #5 Share Posted 3 hours ago Shifting on the ground to look at this fella. There was so many questions that she wanted to ask, but first she would answer the ones that he already asked. "I have spent years practicing, I was home schooled so I had the time." Biting her bottom lip, she really didn't want to say to much. This person seemed okay but the minute she would mention royal that would be the last of their conversation for sure. "I don't draw people because I feel like its an invasion of their bubble and I rather not pop it. I draw what I see around me instead." Enya would grab her pad and start slowly flipping through the pages. It would show dam near every building in the town of beginning from different angles. It would reveal what could be seen from every exit of the town. Inside some buildings like the inn that she frequented or some of the shops that she got permission from the owners to draw. Each paper showed a different story, almost like if you looked at it you would know exactly where that was. Glancing to his face, his expression showed that he was very impressed. There was so many questions that she had but some of them she wouldn't ask just annualize what she though about the man. "This game shows people's true form so your hair is either something you dyed before you came here or you were born with it." Looking him up and down at what he was wearing. "Having green hair is not normal unless you did it on purpose, but given what your wearing you don't seem the punk rock type. So you dress like your smart so that people might see you for who you are and not what is on the cover of a book." She might be a little off but he really didn't seem like the type to make his hair a different color. Hopefully she didn't say to much, the man starts to get up, -OH GOD I SAID TO MUCH...- she starts to think.
