Staring at the two plates on the table, perfectly cooked duck with amazing seasoning. Long cooked green beans with some freshly mashed potatoes. Leaving him in the dark about what was really going on. She told him that she wanted to marry him and she really does, but how could she if he didn't know the whole truth. The man knew a bit but that wasn't enough. She dragged him to another dimension literally, she didn't even need to ask he just came without hesitation. Every time she had a problem she ran to Freyd, to her it was easier. The man would do anything for her so why in gods name could she not let him in. He even stood his ground against her father who he knew hated his guts. A tear drips down her cheek as she crunches her hands into fists. Her chest tightens at the thought of what he would say or wouldn't say thinking as she sets the kids in the bathroom with their food. 

She heads outside to get some fresh air, closing her eyes taking a deep breath, how do you tell the love of your life that you killed hundreds of players to stay alive. Having no regrets, maybe that made her a bad person. While she ran off trying to deal with her shit he was here dealing with everything under the sun. They have barely spoken in the last month unless it was to fight over stuff in the kitchen. They never slept in the same bed, hardly ever laid hands on the other unless they held hands. She couldn't even bring herself to hug him with no shirt on. Both of them were bad at saying or showing affection toward one another. Now that she thought about it, they haven't actually said I love you to each other. They are to be married and they have never said it...

Turning and punching the wall of the building hard. She could feel liquid dripping down her hand, removing her hand it was bleeding. "How..." why was she not healing. She pushing her lips together, taking a huge inhale. She was pissed off at herself for not being able to tell Gaius, more so that she couldn't say what she really felt. Her heart sinks as she slowly walks back inside. Taking a cloth from the kitchen, she wraps her hand. Pulling a non expensive bottle of wine off the shelf, grabbing a glass. Sitting at the table, she pours into the cup about half full. She chugs the liquid "I have to tell him, show him" saying as another tear drips down her cheek. Wiping it with the cloth on her hand. It didn't matter how much it would hurt he had to know. After if he still wants to be with her then she will begin to fix everything she felt like she broke between them. Taking another few gulps straight from the bottle, maybe it would help. She sat there slowly eating her food waiting her Gaius to walk through that door.
