13:07 aincrad standard time. three messages drop into yuki's inbox. it's from a contact she has only met once.

like a frightened wife pointing out pests for their husband to dispose of, the blurry shot of floor 25's maze weaver, front appendages raised and charging at the retreating camera, is meant to speak for itself. as she would tell yuki later, arabelle had been unlucky this time. she is ordinarily a competent boss hunter. but the twists and turns of the maze and her dwindling consumable hoard had formed a troubling combination with a fear of spiders that she had yet to shake off. frustrated and wanting to see it dead before the maze scrambles her chalk, she recalled a chance encounter far before she had ever reached the frontlines and decided that, for once, she will invite a tank into her party.

she waits in lite'tara, sitting with her legs pulled to her chest next to an open tent, damocles on the ground beside her.

funny, you would expect to see the scythe covered in blood.

Another day of practicing her craft, Yuki had just preheated the oven when the messages reached her. She groaned slightly thinking that the messages were from Crozeph getting lost in her cabinet again. Before she’d even check the message her hand went to the pantry door. Well, pantry was something of an understatement. It was more akin to a bomb shelter’s worth of food that Yuki had made and put away for later. The door groaned as she yanked it open. Some items fell onto the ground nearby the door but no Crozeph.

Of course, he must be lost somewhere so she opened the messages and was actually surprised to see who the sender was: Arabelle. First, she returns from a long hiatus; then Mari pops up and she embarrasses herself in front of her old friend; and now Arabelle was reaching out to her. What a week.

The boss was an interesting looking one, and given the context of their last encounter it seemed it was a terrifying one to the scythe wielder. Yuki understood - She was the same with snakes.

>>Zajcica Oh, I see. I haven’t killed this boss yet. Let me turn the oven off and I’ll be on my way. What kind of Japanese snacks do you prefer? I have every kind available.

Yuki would then go into her ‘pantry’ and scoop up every snack available then be on her way to the meet up spot. The pinkette would wave down her company. “Oi!” Her voice piercing the near silence of Lite’tara’s day. She didn’t really even seem to care about the disturbance. “More spiders to squish, huh?” Her eyes moved to the labyrinth and nerves began to set in. “Um… please tell me you’re good with directions.
