From a young age he showed a strong lack of empathy, remorse, and conscience. His parents tried to put him in various programs to help develop such things. Alexander learned how to pretend to feel those things. Watching others. Laugh when they laugh. Cry when they cry. Mimicry! Oh the ease of manipulation through the art of mimicry! Alexander found a passion in the performing arts - the world a stage. He the performer. He particularly grew fond of hypnotism and mentalism. Ahh, the masses! They didn't even realize they were birds born in a cage - a prison of their mind. Meaty fleshy prisons! That's okay...Vex would free them! He's doing them a favour..really...  So then why? Why was he in jail!? He only wanted to free those little birdies. Vex found his way into the prisoner reform program on 'good behavior' part of that was a reintroduction into society via VRM technology, namely, Sword Art Online. Oopsie.. Guess that didn't work out.  Oh well. Vex was happy here. His own playground, a digital prison of prisons! What magic!   ACTIVE FILE #2 | personality   Spoiler   V I R T U E S . F L A W S . Friendly Overall, Vex has a very friendly and outgoing demeanor. He's the kind of man who will tip his hat to you, call you darling, and kiss your hand. The kind of person who will follow you like a lost puppy and strike up all manner of conversation. Apathetic Despite Vex's friendly demeanor and outgoing personality he quite frankly does not give a crap. NPC? Person? Familiar? Who cares. Driven Despite Vex's apathetic nature, and his tendency to get distracted Vex is extremely driven. There are no means in which can not be utilized to justify the end. End goal? Stay in Aincrad. The digital prison is far more fun than one with concrete walls. Absentminded Vex is very easily distracted, his whims carry him and just as easily as he picks up a new project, he will drop it if it bores him. Loyal If you somehow manage to gain Vex's loyalty, you have it forever. He will have an almost obsessive fixation on what needs to be done. Cruel Vex has a broken switch, and as nice as he can be, you would triple that and that is just as cruel and callous as he can be. He doesn't care about you.
