New cloak in hand, Wulfrin continued to peruse the market district of the Town of Beginnings. Next on his list of professions to collect was the skills of being an artisan. Between the skills given by that profession, tailoring, and his already nearly maxed out blacksmithing, Wulfrin was quickly moving towards being able to build just about any piece of gear he would need. Sure he would need to still sure to level up the professions up to the point that he could properly make gear of the appropriate tier, but at least they could benefit slightly form his blacksmith levels. Wulfrin entered the small jewelry store, a variety of finely crafted jewelry and other trinkets were on full display.

"Can I help you find something?" A man asked, seemingly materializing from nowhere.

"I'm here to learn your craft," Wulfrin replied as he turned to face the man. The shop keep disappeared again, returning to the material plane behind the counter. The salesman smile that was once present, now faded.

"I rarely have time for such things, but you've caught me on an unusually slow day. I won't give you any of my materials, but should you find your own, I may be able to help you."

"Yep. I know the drill. I'll be back in a flash."

Wulfrin left the Town of Beginnings and returned to his hunting ground deep in the woods. In the back of his mind, he had been keeping track of the seconds that had passed since he felled the wolves. The trick to his plan was to time his return perfectly with the wolves respawning. In short it was going to be a simple day of: start a quest, kill the wolves, do the craft, and repeat. Thus were the perks of being a high level player. With near pin point punctuality, Wulfrin arrived at his clearing. He closed his eyes and steadied his breathing to ensure he could hear his approaching targets. As if waiting for their cue to enter the scene, the four wolves leapt form the underbrush in an attempt to slay the swordsman. In much the same style and flair as the previous attempt, Wulfrin drove the wolves to the ground with a burst of crimson light.

Wulfrin began to circle the pack that had fruitlessly attempted to take him down. Each received their final sword strike in their sky facing flank before they could return to their feet. Wulfrin watched as the various loot panels flashed into view and vanished just as quickly. In much the same vein as the previous pack, Wulfrin's purse grew heavier and his rare materials count continued to tick up, this time gleaming scales. His collection of maps was growing just as fast. One of these days he'd have to actually try and clear all these dungeons, but for now all he could do was sit on them. A thought began to rattle around in his head. Perhaps if he rebuilt his build, he could more effectively tackle the more difficult dungeons. So far he was focusing on attempting to survive the hits, but mabye with all the new crafting tips he was collecting he could pivot to avoiding them instead.

"I've returned with the materials," Wulfrin announced as he crossed the threshold of the artisan shop. "I'm ready to learn whenever you're ready to teach."

"Right then," The shop keep replied as he cleared off a workspace. "Let's get started."

Wulfrin set to work at the jeweler's station. He was already somewhat familiar with fine metalwork and gemology as some of his smithing crafts required those skills, but focusing entirely on the skills was proving to be the real challenge. Wulfrin watched and mimicked the steps being shown to him with near pin point accuracy. Before long he held in his hand a simple golden band with a ruby set in its center.

"Well done," The shop keep praised as he moved to show Wulfrin out of the shop. "You're basically a natural."

"Thanks for teaching me," Wulfrin replied as he pocketed the ring. "It helped that your motions were easy to follow."
