At this point he had the capability of crafting any piece of equipment in the game so long as it had the mundane enhancements on it. His next target was the consumable crafting professions. The first on that list would be the easiest to level and would provide him access to a near endless supply of crafter's respites, assuming he could successfully craft them. Despite Zachariah being the alchemist you speak to for starting the first lessons quest, he wasn't the one to handle teaching the craft. "Oh hi!" A young woman greeted Wulfrin warmly as he entered the strange shop. "Welcome! Are you looking for something specific?" "I'm just here to learn how to do alchemy," Wulfrin smiled back as he continued into the shop. "And you want me to teach you?" "That was my hope yes." "I would just love to! The clearing just as peaceful as it had been countless times before. He was operating basically on autopilot now, everything was a calculated dance designed to keep him on a record pace for completing his to do list for the day. Standing in the center of the clearing, trying to be as vulnerable as possible, Wulfrin focused on his surroundings. He could hear the chirping of birds, the rush of the river, and finally the gentle crunching of brush under the paws of familiar predators. As if it was a practiced maneuver, Wulfrin drew his blade and activated his sword art in one fluid motion. As the wolves burst from the underbrush at the tree line, a burst of crimson light arched in a full circle around Wulfrin. Wulfrin swiftly put them down in another fluid motion, sheathing his blade shortly after. Wulfrin started a new mental timer as he started back towards the Town of Beginnings. His mind drifted to his shop on floor 22. What was currently a simple blacksmithing forge was about to undergo a major overhaul. What would his version of the consumables look like? Wulfrin had a few ideas, but none really stood out to him. In truth Wulfrin hadn't fully decided if he was going to sell the additional items or just keep them for guild mates. Those were all questions to be answered in time. He still had a handful of professions to unlock. His timer ticked on in his head as he continued towards the Town of Beginnings. "Of course!" The shop keep beamed as she hurriedly produced a workstation for the two to share. "Let's get to work then!" The two set to work, Wulfrin's mentor moving rather quickly. Thankfully Wulfrin had become exceptionally good at following motions in real time. Ingredients were ground up using mortars and pestles, fluids were piped through various apparatuses vaporizing and condensing, and finally coming to rest in a single vat that both alchemists mixed together before pouring it into a series of vials. Wulfrin admired his work as he carefully examined one of them. "Fantastic job!" The shop keep beamed with excitement. "I'd say you picked that up pretty quick! Why don't you take that one with you!" "Thanks," Wulfrin replied as he stowed away the potion in his inventory.
