Shayla 0 Posted August 7 #1 Share Posted August 7 Username: Shayla Real name: Shayla Mishka Nickname: Shay Age: 16 (21) Gender: Female Height: 5'6" Eye Color: Purple Hair Color: Purple History Shay has never had a permanent home, they had to move around a lot for her fathers job. Longest stay in one place has always ever been a year. Making friends with others were always risky because with any relationship that was formed would be broken for the sake of her having to up and leave again. Shay doesn't know exactly what her father does but it must of been something important if they had him traveling so much. Her mother decided to start homeschooling Shay, mainly because she saw how much her girl was struggling to keep up. From a young age her father introduced her to the different fighting styles. He always told her that she was too beautiful for her own good and that she needed to know how to defend herself. Through the years this only made her more curious what her father did for a living. Every time she would ask about it he would dodge the question with another question like -did you do your homework today- or -go pack your things, we are leaving soon-. One days her mother comes home from the store with a game system. At first Shay was taken back because she had never had something like this before. It was always school work, training or books. Her mother encouraged her to try it out, maybe feeling a bit sorry that they couldn't give Shay a normal life. Taking it with excitement in here eyes, reading the back of the game. Maybe this would finally be her chance to have real friends. Little did she know her life would change forever... Virtues - Lethal Weapon: Her body is her weapon thanks to her father. Any spare time her father had was used to train her. She was taught to paralyze with one hit, pressure points to down them reverse grapple if she was ever grabbed. There are several others but these were the techniques that he drilled into her head. Made her thing that he was running from something dangerous. -Focused: Given that she moved so much, she figured that learning everything while she could would be beneficial. This included training sessions with her father a school work with her mother. Shay would excel in everything that she did with gave more wiggle room to learn more than most. She was not going to let herself be mushy brain because of their style of living. -Kind: Shay was the sort of person that would stop and help an old person across the street through traffic. If she saw someone drop something she would rush to help them pick up their belongings. If someone need help and she is around, she will always help. Flaws: -Brave: Shay will never shy away from someone in need. In multiple occasions she has found herself in an ally way putting down a dude that just robbed someone, or tried to. If the perp had a weapon, she was taught how to disarm them in a way that kept herself and anyone around her safe. Her father has always said that she needed to calm down with the hero act because one of these times she wasn't going to be so lucky. -Brash: Shay has been told a few times that she was too honest. She feels like lying would be an easy way out. Sometimes she will say something in pure honesty and they would lash out because the person didn't like what they heard. Apparently people don't like being caught in their own lie. -Lethal Weapon: Shay doesn't know her own strength. There has been several of time when she went all hero mode of a dude to safe someone else and she knocked them cold out. It is always a terrifying feeling that maybe she killed someone by accident.
