"Sometimes, I really like the smell of trees." It wrinkled slightly as they walked past some rotting wood. "When shit's not rotting." As she said it she punctuated her words with a heavy foot that bore down on the log, smashing it to pieces, as if it was a slight against her - ruining her peaceful moment with her husband. Still, there was something about the scent of the forest that was calming. And nothing could take that away from her. Mari had someone by her side. They were married now, and yet - it felt like she didn't know him as well as she'd like. "Pistachio." Mari said, completely out of context. "Its my favourite ice cream flavour." She explained. "Unless we are talking about gelato, then that would be lemon. hup." She had to half climb-half jump over a large fallen tree. "I like earl grey tea. And Sullivans Cove whiskey. Not together of course." Mari would grab the etching out of Lancasters hand, then with a quick motion she'd snap her fingers and light up the cigarette he just put into his mouth with a grin. Beating him to it. "Here...so - this symbol. It's a bear? Maybe..." She'd squint at it. "Or maybe a badger? But I don't think they'd be on this floor..." She could check the actual tablet itself; she did bring it with her - but it was safely tucked away in her inventory, no need to have it lugged around when they could use the etching just as easily. Lancaster was smart for doing so. As if comically on cue a roar shook the ground before them. Mari very obviously, and very on purposefully fell into Lancaster, with all the dramatics she could muster. "Oh Noo I fell." She'd wrap her arms around his shoulders, pulling him close. "Mi Amore, you going to let such a beast get away with that? He made your WIFE fall, after all." Mari asked with a laugh. When had she allowed herself to be this playful? She couldn't recall... Despite how tired she felt. This...might just be enjoyable.
