[SP-F1] Earning a Living (quest)

Pepper had a rough day. She bought way too much stuff with Mommy’s money, and now Mommy was irritated with her. Oske went off somewhere to relax, and now Pepper had a turn to redeem herself. She was going to get a job, for Mommy… and make her a gift, too.

She was going to make her some strawberry shortcake!

Pepper quickly decided that the first thing she needed to do was make a list of the ingredients she needed. It took her a while to figure it out, and she eventually asked a passerby or two. Finally, she had a list written down in her menu notepad.

-4 fresh strawberries (floor 1)

-Mummoo Heavy Cream (floor 1)

- flour (floor 1)

- baking powder (floor 1)

- 1 egg (floor 1)

- Mummoo Milk (floor 1)

- salt (floor 4)

- fruitfly sugar (floor 6)

Pepper let out a long sigh… this was going to be a long, long trip just for one stupid piece of cake. She had to translate some of the food items into “SAO†terms, like milk and cream was from a “Mummoo†which she guessed was a cow, and… the fruitfly, she had no idea what the heck that thing was. She sure had her work cut out for herself, though…

After a long walk, Pepper found herself in a field full of Mummoos. Some had horns, some didn’t. She wasn’t quite sure what that meant. She approached a Mummoo with horns, looking under its belly for some milk. She paused. Where were the udders…?

The leg of the Mummoo lifted, and Pepper quickly jumped back as it stomped down where her head had been. “Yikes!†she gasped.

Pepper ran away from the big, scary bull and approached a softer looking Mummoo, who happened to be super fat. “Wow! You’re a fatty-fat-fat,†Pepper teased, touching the Mummoo’s side. It grunted and continued eating grass. Pepper reached underneath the Mummoo’s belly and pulled on the udder. Her inventory quickly filled with two heavy creams and one milk unit. “Wow! Thanks, fatty,†Pepper exclaimed.

To make things easier on herself, Pepper contacted Mommy and asked her to pick some strawberries for her. After no reply, she contacted her four more times. Finally, she got a reply with a bundle of strawberries from Oske. She equipped it and examined it, her eyes filling with confusion. "There's... only three. WHAT!?" Pepper quickly put it back into her inventory. "I don't get it. Why was it so hard to pick a fourth berry!? Ugh, Mommy can be so stupid sometimes."
