[SP-F4] The Ice Dragon

Recommended Posts

Oske slowly swallowed her shaky breath. She narrowed her eyes, focusing on the red mark on the dragon's health bar. She charged forward, her sword glowing. She let out a shout as she slashed her sword down in a stabbing motion, piercing through the dragon's face. It went silent, then let out a low grumbling sound. It then shattered around Oske's sword and disappeared. Oske slowly stood up, sweating, waiting for her loot to appear. However, nothing came. "Are you... kidding me...?" she panted. She shook her head, then turned around to look around the room.

Sitting nice and neatly placed in the corner of the room spawned a treasure chest. It was icy and covered in frost. She swallowed. If she didn't get some loot from this, she'd have to use some of her old materials, but... that wouldn't show the Knights of Christ her skills. She slowly approached the chest, her legs feeling weak. She slowly fell to her knees and crawled to the chest. "This better be good..." she mumbled.

With a clicking sound, the chest opened. Oske quickly ducked, prepared for a trap, but none appeared. As she peered into the chest, and as she did, a message box appeared before her.

CONGRATULATIONS!

You have received 200 Col and Ice Iron (2)

Oske relaxed and laid her head down and closed the window. Her sides shuttered as she laughed, and she slowly got to her feet. She wasn't done yet. Pulling herself forward, she left the cave and began to head to the center of town. Once she was there, she walked to her shop that was still under construction and started to get ready to craft.

Oske hammered down on the metal after melting it to a hot pulp of iron. In a moment, it was just white. Then it morphed into two lovely gauntlets. She opened up the item's menu to admire her work, making sure it was something good.

With another clattering bang of her hammer, Oske slowly began to form a nice looking pair of boots. They weren't absolutely perfect, but they'd fit nicely with the guild she would hopefully be joining. Finally, she took a deep breath and began to relax. Her mission was over... for now.
