Guest Posted October 31, 2014 #21 Share Posted October 31, 2014 Keith drew his katana and squinted, trying to see in the dark. Only one way to know if Napalm was in there. He walked forward into the mouth of the cave, keeping his ears and eyes vigilant for any threats. He knew he had two friends with him, and he should be the one to take the lead, seeing as how he had more Maverick experience. "If either of you see anything suspicious, give a shout." He said, pressing onward.
Guest Posted November 1, 2014 #22 Share Posted November 1, 2014 "You got it," Alkor responded evenly, withdrawing the blade from its place at his waist. It would be safer for him to take up the rear, and he needed to be mindful of anything that might be going on around them. While he lacked proficiency in any sensory skills, it would be easy enough to tell if they came under attack. The fact that they were hunting another player did grate on his nerves, though not necessarily in a negative way. It was more of an anxiety, not knowing what to expect or when to expect it. He spared a glance over toward Rebekah; out of the group, she was the only one he was u certain of. He would keep a close eye on her health gauge, just in case he needed to help her in a pinch. It was a force of habit more than anything else.
Rebekah 0 Posted November 1, 2014 #23 Share Posted November 1, 2014 Rebekah just realized that she had some sort of light source in her inventory, but decided not to use it. After a short period in the dark, her eyes would naturally readjust to seeing things in the dark, which would be more favorable when tracking down another person. Besides, using the light source would tip them off, if she did see anything, so that she could concentrate on trying to find what they were looking for. To be honest, she could not really see much in the dark, but would not be surprise if her level zero tracking skill could not detect a player's high level hiding skill. Regardless, she paid extra attention, because she recognized that she would probably be the target in the group, if someone were to attack.
