As this is a boss battle, a perma roller will be used for combat rolls.

 

Tristan sighed as he warped towards the floor.

"This censored floor again, like I didn't have enough of it already..."

He trudged to where there was said to be a Queen Bee, which held a powerful venom that would make him stronger for a battle. It was quite the incentive, since it would make things like boss battles easier, for which it looked it was intended for.

 

The Forest he entered grew more crowded and darker with each step he took. The air was musky and threatened to block his nose with the overwhelming thickness of it, making it hard to breathe. He was disliking this even more, asking himself why he even bothered at this point with this miserable quest.

 

Eventually he came across a large expanse, almost like a forest altar with a giant bee hive ontop a large tree. He wondered how on Earth he would meet that large bee this way.

The giant bee flew down to attack him and was probably about to stab his face with the stinger too. It caught him completely off-guard, jumping to the side to evade the attack before it pierced him. He exhaled with a "*phew*" when the attack missed completely. Good thing too, or he would have a stinger through his head. The buzz of the wings almost had him with a heart attack.

Tristan stood back up to face the giant bee that hovered rather menacingly at him, which made him almost sick simply looking at it, not to mention the smell. "Eww....."

Tristan thrust out his spear to attack the Queen Bee, and missed! He wasn't up to speed with his bee anatomy, which was probably why he was so useless at trying to hit it. He tried anyway at doing some damage to it, because who knows, he might just make it if he tried again! Not that he had the chance to though, because the bee came flying down with its stinger ready to attack him again.

This time the bee was luckier with their attack at him. The piercer of theirs glanced across their skin, but it still hurt. Tristan was realising though that compared to Avalanche, this simply wasn't as powerful an enemy. Well regardless, if he got hit enough, he'd be in a pickle, so he should get this done with as soon as possible. Tristan readied his spear for his next attack.

Tristan must have been hit by something when that stinger got him, because his aim was off completely. His weapon missed the bee and went off somewhere else, aiming to their side. He cursed and withdrew the spear in his grip, having another attempt to attack the bee. Hopefully with more success this time around too...

The bee however was distracted by the spear missing them. The bee moved to the side and attempted to counter the man thrusting the spear at him, but missed completely. The bee buzzed in anger at this enemy which didn't die instantly, like most of its foes did. The bee hovered imposingly high in the air over the man, looking down at them.

Tristan shot his spear towards the distracted enemy only to miss...again. This was beginning to be really embarassing. How had he missed three times already?! It was getting beyond ridiculous this. Well he wasn't about to run away though and instead stuck to his plans and waited for the enemy to strike. His anger was starting to rise from the situation.

Tristan got stabbed this time by the stinger, which had him hiss in pain as the stinger pierced his arm. He was beginning to get real sick of this monster...he could just feel himself wanting to stab the bee over and and over again, from causing this ridicule to him.

Tristan now screamed in rage as he charged with the spear in hand to pierce the monster that been making a laughing stock out of him. His spearhead slashed the back of the bee, which screeched in pain from the spear stabbing it. Tristan was exhilarated. He finally hit! He got his spear ready to attack the monster even more, just to feel the pain twice over he had been dealt.

Tristan deflected the oncoming stinger with his spear, pushing it aside. Not that it mattered, because it was going to miss him anyway. He wanted to just make sure though, since he didn't want to take any more chances of getting hit, though it was probably going to happen. He put his spear in an overhand position ready to attack again.

Tristan, from his overhand position, had the spear shoot towards the bee, extending its reach with only one hand holding it when he let it out. It was a success, hitting the bee and causing them to screech again in pain. It looked like his luck at hitting the bee was finally turning around, though this was no time to relax on the matter.

Clearly the bee was far too distracted having their ass handed to them, because when they attempted to attack Tristan, they flew in the wrong direction to even hit him. At this point, killing it seemed more like a mercy kill than anything. Regardless, Tristan readied his spear to attack again and hopefully whittle down the enemy of this boss that was irritating him so much.

Tristan thrust the spear at the enemy, but sadly missed completely, his spear hitting only air. He gritted his teeth at this rather irritating boss which just simply would not let itself get hit. Then again, it was a bee and bees were never exactly easy targets in the first place...well he readied himself for the next attack by the boss anyway.

The boss charged forward with their stinger racing towards the man who stumbled from missing their attack. They missed completely though, the stinger passing him harmlessly. The Queen Bee screeched in anger as this foe who was taking much longer than they wanted was making a fool out them.

Tristan stabbed at the foe, but could not do a thing, hitting air again. This was feeling really ridiculous with how much they both missed. Someone must be there in the distance laughing at them for their incompetency. Tristan grew more angry with the idea of that being a possibility and got himself ready to bear the brunt of an attack.

The Queen Bee missed again, flying past him with the stinger in tow to attack. Tristan could only stand there wordlessly at how this was just getting a bit too much. Sick of all this prancing around like ballerinas, he decided to get ready to throw his rare Monster Grenade, which would give him two extra times to attack. It was the best he could think of at this point.

The grenade rang out with the sound of Mari and him playing their music as the recording crystal grenade flew in the air, arcing. It completely distracted the bee, which Tristan used to attack. The first two attacks missed, but the third was actually successful, which had Tristan happy that he actually hit the damn thing!

The bee grew angry at being lost in their distraction and attacked Tristan with their stinger, swinging wildly in the air towards Tristan. Remarkably enough, as desperate as it was a manoeuvre, it somehow was going to hit Tristan. Maybe he should flail wildly too if he wanted to hit the bee more.

It didn't matter though, because Tristan blocked the attack with his new Sleeves of the Iron Lords, a symbol of pack strength. Even when alone, the wolf was strong. It was only that in numbers within their pack that their strength multiplied. He was glad for them, since he received no damage with his choice in skills combined.

 

However Tristan tripped from the force of it, mostly because it was first time negating with a block the attack of a boss, which made him look rather ridiculous.

Tristan loses one turn for tripping for the idiot he is.

Tristan had the stinger come down on him as he lay on the ground rather ridiculously. The stinger came down towards his face, but he cross-blocked with his arms the stinger, blocking the attack, leaving him buried further into the soft forest ground. He breathed a sigh of relief for his blunder. At this rate he's gonna fry that bee or something, in deep fat so that it battered and he could feed it to the Minotaurs or something equally ridiculous.

Tristan rolled off the ground and picked up the spear, then somehow from the floor did a somersault into the air and sliced the spear vertically at the bee, arcing up. The spear cut the front of the bee, sending it flying back in pain as the spear cut part of their eye. Tristan was pleased to be able to attack again, even if at the risk of nearly having a pincer through his face and simply because of having good enough equipment.
