Tristan was beginning to be confident with this fight, looking like it would finish soon, though he wasn't holding his breath on that one, since all he could end up doing is missing again. Sadly because of its erratic flailing, he missed completely. Instead he was still standing there and waited for the bee to attack him. Well, there goes any confidence he had... [iD 367 BD 5. "nonononononono!" Tristan blocked the attack with his sleeves, saving himself from a rather spiky situation. The stinger deflected away and the bee circled around to attack them again. Tristan however had parried the move, meaning he received only half damage and returned the attack with half damage. [iD 368 MD 6. 1 - 2 = 0. ID 369 BD 8. His armour however meant the damage to him did no harm, which was resting on his soul. Made him wonder whether things like life after death was in SAO and how the game dealt with you, whether you were saved somewhere or were completely wiped, along with your death. Tristan Delaney 0 Posted November 4, 2014 Author #25 Report Share Posted November 4, 2014 Tristan now retaliated in full, sending his spear shooting out where it looked to be the best place to attack as the Bee moved from their attempt to sting him. It was a success too, as the spear hit them directly, piercing them. The boss now fell to the red of their HP at 5, which had Tristans heart pumping that they would manage this quest soon and get it over and done with. What annoyed the bee even more was that the hits were not doing damage either. Tristan deftly dodged the attack, passing him by with little to no harm. This was beginning to irritate him even more, seeing as how close he was to killing the damn beast. At leats there was aleays a next time for his attempt at it. The came screeching forward in rage, attacking with the stinger. While he blocked the blow with arms, the sheer force of the attack still put a cut on his arm, a reminder not to be complacent in this fight. Oh well, there was little he could do about it. He really should invest in some points in Accuracy so that this happens far less. Well he was waiting some gear that would grant it from Lessa, so it was just a matter of waiting. The bee's stinger swept by him peacefully though with no repercussions, so Tristan was still safe when it came to fighting. Using this time to attack, Tristan stabbed forward with his spear and dug the spear into the queen, killing the beast. "Finally!" [iD 375 MD 2. Miss. BD 9, Damage 4+1.] Tristan 16/17 Queen Bee DEAD Complete. 400 Col, 4 Skill points (3 Quest reward +1 RP completion). Queen Venom, +1 to DMG for one RP. Link to post Share on other sites
