Unyie was roaming the city looking for some supplies for her shop, She came a this cake NPC and asked if the NPC had any thing it did not need. Sadly it had nothing so Unyie left. "Well, i could always go exploring..." She was walking down the road pouting that she was almost out of food. Most people ignored her and NPC did not respond. She was use to being alone though. It was not a fun feeling but it was all she knew. Sure she had made some friends but they where just low levels who probably just wanted her help cause of her level. Unyie was a low level too.. and she did not hit very hard. 1 DMG OP. She enter her shop, Gladiolus Checkpoint and walked behind her bar. The shop was empty and it was quiet. She picked up a class and started cleaning it just to pass time. "*yawn... life can be so boring sometimes"

I sat in the corner of the cake shop, staring into my HUD. To my left I heard a door open and saw a young girl walk through, asking the NPC for supplies. This of course annoyed me, she was making a fuss over something as stupid as her shop? Who would even want a profession in Aincrad, it was dumb to think we would stay here forever. Not being able to control myself, I PMed the girl. "Why do you even need that kind of stuff?"

*PING* Unyie looked up and noticed that someone pm her. She opened her menu and read the message... She thought about ignoring this Kuru but that would be so mean... She messaged back while she moved to wiping down her counters. "I need the sugar so i can make my new Dish. Are you offering something to me Kiru..." she glanced at her level and was shocked.. she was the strongest person she saw on the sever so far, "sempia ..." She stopped what she was doing and went to the back room incase she would respond back. It was rude to talk in front of customers.. even if she didnt have any

I looked up from my HUD and sighed. The girl I just PMed was obviously dense. I was sitting directly in front of the counter when she left, I doubt that she knew I was even in here shop. "Nowhere in my message did I say was offering something to you. Unless of course you have something for me in return I presume? Also, you do know that I'm sitting in your shop correct?" I rolled my eyes and hit send. The girl should have gotten the message, maybe she would come out and actually speak to me, maybe even make a deal with me.

Unyie quickly rushed out of the kitchen with a clash and a menu. "Kiru-sama, you are my first customer so im really excited. Can i get you a drink or something on the house?" She ran to the back walls as she pulled down several bottles of wine, and other fancy drinks like sparking water and cider. "We have a huge selection you know. We also have plenty of tasty dishes you can choice form, after its nice to have a bite, that wont kill you." She pulled out a note pad and pencil ready to take down what ever order the girl wanted."

I looked up and as expected she came from the back of the room where she had escaped to earlier. By looking at her I could tell that she was just a couple years younger than me. Kiru-sama? Why such formality?...Anyways though I'm pleased that you have a bunch of fancy drinks I'll take a water. Nothing can kill me in this game, literally...you can't die so yeah...I said and closed my eyes, waiting for her to come back with my water so we could talk.

Unyie nodded and ran behind the counters, and grabbed a jugg filled with and water. She pulled the woman's glass to her and pour the water slowly careful to let the ice splash the water out of the cup. Then she place the cup on an piece of wood and slid it back to the woman. "Is it too formal. Im sorry, my mother use to call all her customers-sama when we where at her shop. Would you like for me to call you Kiru sempai instead?" This woman said she could not die... that was truly amazing. Unyie was already looking up the the woman, but she still was weary of her. Why would a high level come seek her out. She grabbed another glass and started washing it, "So what brings you back to this floor sempai"

Well your mother is not here right now, start your own tradition instead of following in others footsteps. I downed the water in a matter of seconds but with grace and perfect posture. I opened my eyes, not really aware that I closed them in the first place and looked over to her. This girl was becoming annoying to me, she was talking way too much for me. Of course this was only because I was naturally impatient and rude. But those were the qualities that set me apart from the rest of the mindless players here. They all wanted to change the world and had all this sense of honor yet they killed each other? What a disgrace. I'm here to kill all the low levels. I said with a totally serious face...for about five seconds. I busted out laughing and when my breath caught up with me I rephrased my sentence. I'm only kidding, don't worry. Just wandering around, killing boars I guess.

Unyie slammed her glass on the table, "YOU WILL NOT DISRESPECT MY MOTHER OR MY FAMILY TRADITION My.. my mother was a good person... and she is always with me... in here" Unyie pointed to her heart and closed her eyes trying to hold in the tears. Then she looked up and realized she just yelled at a future customer, "OMG... im am so sry sempia. Please forgive my actions... this is no way to speak to a customer." She then started bowing hoping Kiru would forgive her.

I sighed at the young girl, who was obviously in distress. I did not say anything about your mother. I said she is not here with you as in, in the room. No where in my sentence did I say she was a bad person either. I'm sure she was good person. I was surprised at my words. It may have been the result of hanging with Tristan or something but I was actually comforting her. Also, I was in a calm state. No need to apologize, or bow. I will not forgive you, or anyone for the matter. Don't take it personally but your actions are done, words have been said..oh well I guess. Now, what did you need for your shop?

"Your right... she is not in the game, nor is she in my room caring for me. She cant kiss me good night, or ... Ask me how i been. I... I... I miss her..." Tears ran down her face as the memories of her decease mother flooded in. The only person who really supported her only person she could trust was gone. She felt weak and motionless. She even forgot she was serving someone.

I touched the top of her head lightly and stood up. Not even sure what I was doing anymore I hugged her while rubbing the back of her head. She reminded me of my younger self in some ways...Pull yourself together, it's going to be alright. You can't die in this game so you shouldn't be worried! I released the hug and squatted down to her height. With a gentle hand I swept away the tear on her cheek and mustered a smile. What am I doing? Geez, I sound like an adult...I thought about what people would think if they saw me now, comforting a child.

Rei started to calm down, on the outside. Inside she still was emotionally crushed. "*sniffle* your... right Kiru" she stood up and put her glasses up. "This is only a game.... do you want to kill something..." she pulled out her Glaive and stamping it on the ground. then she walked toward the door. Killing mobs always made her feel normal. It was the most stress relieving thing in this world

My eyes lit up when she suggested we should kill something. This was starting to get freaky...how much she was like me. I'd love to. Lead the way. I smiled and began to equip my weapon that I wanted to practice, Thorn. I didn't really use a sword so I need to work on that, this was the perfect time to.

Rei marched to the 4th floor. This was her favorite floor where she did all her hunting. The monsters gave her the most relief when she killed them and helped her not think about the real world. Suddenly a giant bear appear before her. It had armor and was white. Lightning seem the run through its vains. It was a powerful beast... but a small challenge for the duo.

I followed her all the way to floor four. I had been her to purchase some weapons from Fallen's shop just a few days ago. Other than that I didn't really just to this floor very often. Suddenly, almost out of nowhere a large white bear popped out in front of us. Is he wearing...armor?! I started to laugh, which made the beast angry. It swiped at me but I dodged it with ease and stabbed through it's weak plate. That flimsy thing won't protect you.

Unyie was surprised that the high level did not hit much harder then her... however, she did have the hp to back her up so she would say nothing. The Bear  roared and tried to claw Kiru but it missed. Then Kiru cut the bear with dagger. The bear backed up but it was not safe. Unyie dropped her Glaive over its shoulder. Cracking the armor. The bear took 2 damage. "Its your turn Kiru"

I was surprised yet not surprised at the same time that I could actually use a sword. This was something I thought would be tricky but I mastered it right away. Come in behind me and hit it, catch it off guard. I said and lifted my sword once more, striking directly in the stomach of the bear. The so called armor it wore apparently did nothing to fend off the damage.

The bear rushed over to Kiru ready to maul her face in but Unyie interfered Slamming her Glaive into it back. The weight of the weapon cracked the armor, on the bear. Blood dripped from its back. "Dirty bear, pick on someone your own size" The bear turned around slamming its paw into her side. Rei few a few feet to the side crashing into a tree.

 

The bear roared but suddenly froze stun from the weapons force.

The small girl was swept away from the bear with a forceful push. It smacked her into a nearby tree, she was probably unconscious. I glared at the bear who seemed to be unable to move from the previous attack. I smirked at my opportunity and stabbed my sword through the monster. It screech in pain but it couldn't retaliate because it couldn't move. I pulled the blade out slowly and turned to where Unyielding was.
