» About: In the real world he has 3 brothers and 4 sisters. He lives in Newcastle/England and managed to get the game from a hacker online. During his childhood, MMORPG's were his way of escaping the crap he was going through in real life. He was bullied consistently and although his parents, teachers and friends tried to help him it would never stop. He would come online where many people enjoyed his company and although he had never met any of his online friends, he felt like they were the closest people he had.

You see, Matt had never been a confident guy. He would be the kid you see with his head stuck in a book or eyes locked onto a computer screen 24/7. But in the virtual world he was a fearless ranger who would be able to take out an enemy before they could eve blink.

He read about SAO on a forum and he knew he had to have it but knew it was only to be released in Japan. So he called up his friend who was a game hacker and he managed to get Matt a Nervehear and a copy of the game. Matt was buzzed to be going into his first virtual dive...but that buzz soon wore off when he was trapped inside the game.

» Virtues:
<Smart> He is a quick thinker for the most part. He will asses the situation before acting. This has been a trait he has picked up over the many years of online gameplay.

<Quick> He is physically fit and a fast runner. He is small making it easier to be stealthy. Not only in real life but in the games too. Speed was one of his main stats he increased. He was always in and out before anyone noticed.

<Cunning> He will get what he wants through deceit or evasion. Over the years he had grown quite the silver tongue. He can manipulate people into getting what he wants and is great at talking himself out of situations.

» Flaws:
<Confidence> He lacks in confidence when it comes to large groups or facing a foe a lot stronger than him. This has been a flaw of his since early childhood. He has just never been a very confident guy, but it got less worse as he hit his teenage years.

<Shy> He is naturally shy making it hard for him to meet new people and make new friends. This has hindered him a lot in his real life. It has stopped him from making friends and if he was less shy maybe it could have stopped the bullying.

<Overthinker> He can sometimes overthink situations. This can make him miss a target or act too late. This trait usually leaves him with the worse items when it came to raids. In real life it has make him skittish and on edge.
