[PP-F1] The start of a Party. (Sol / Pyro / Exchequer)

Sol ventured out into the fields with his new comrades, Pyro and Exchequer. Two newer players that seemed to try and learn the ropes of the world outside the gates of the Town of beginnings. "Alright. So, What would we like to fight first today? A wolf pack? or a Single boar? Either way. they shouldn't be too much of a problem." Sol explained to the two as he turned around. He began to debrief them of the two enemies.

 

"Boars, are simple, weak, and passive until you attack them first. Wolves however, prey on players that are alone or weaker than them... Usually grouping up in twos to attack you. Depending on where you're at on this floor is how strong they are."

 

Sol finished his little debriefing and nodded. "So Who is for the Boars? and who is for the Wolves?" Sol asked the small hunting party before him. He had a sense of deja-vu remembering Destiny and suddenly getting a very brief gloomy, worried face face. Sol shook his face back to normal and smiled at the two.

Pyro noticed the strange look on Sol's face that only lasted a second. She was good at catching people's emotions, and hoped to soon learn what made him make such a face.

 

"How about wolves? I already tried my hand at a boar and lizard, and it seemed to turn out alright." Pyro suggested. Her voice was monotone and face seemed bored, but at the moment she was practically jumping out of her skin in excitement and nervousness. "If you think we should of course." She added, looking at Exchequer then back at Sol.

Exchequer felt a degree of excitement. He knew that one day he was destined to leave the Town of Beginnings and aspire for the Front Lines at some point; which could very well demand he make the ultimate sacrifice. In a death game such as this, what higher aspiration was there available in order to achieve liberation? Exchequer didn't wish to die however, he didn't think anyone did; but he also realised the grim reality that at times, someone will have to in order to push forward.

 

Bringing his mind to a more positive note, Exchequer was raring to go. "Wolves sound good. I am not terribly experienced at fighting; in fact, I have never fought before. But with you guys having my back, we'll be fine."  He ended his sentence with a brief smile.

Sol smiled as he turned around and began to walk along the treeline of the fields. He spoke while they walked, debriefing them a bit more on the plan of action. "Alright, Since its battle training, I'm going to stand back, and if any of you two start to have trouble, I'm going to interfere." Sol turns his head to look at his new party members. "This way, you guys have a chance to get something good when you defeat them." A bit excited for his little class to take session, Sol started to walk a little faster. "Oh! Yeah, Also, since most wolves travel in two's, Separate them so they can't focus on one of you at a time. So Pyro attacks one, then Exchequer attacks the other. If there is a Rare Third, I'll take him. Sound good team?"

Pyro searches for a wolf to kill and successfully spots two wandering around. "Alright, look over there Exchequer. Two. Like Sol said I take one and you take the other." She looks over at Exchequer. "Ready to fight?"

Exchequer looked over to where Pyro was pointing towards and acknowledged the two wolves that she spotted. "I am; let's do this."  He answered as he unsheathed his rapier and assumed a stable 'en garde' stance. Which consisted of spreading his legs shoulder-width apart and pointing the rapier straight; his free hand resting behind his back.  "Lead the way." Exchequer said to Pyro with a degree of determination.

Sol unsheathed his spear pointing forward. "Alright team, Lets go!" Sol ran down the slope of the plains, targeting the two wolves. "Charge!" As sol approaches the two wolves, a third , significantly larger wolf appears. "Heh, Perfect! Stick to the battle plan okay guys!?" Sol dashed forward, and leapt up into the air once close enough to attempt a aerial strike.

Sol slamed his spear on the head of the Alpha wolf's head but, the impact caused Sol to land and prepare for another chance. Turned out the wolf saw the attack coming and intercepted it with its hard head. The Alpha Wolf growled at Sol while the smaller two began to target him due to Sol rushing in the frey first.

"Prepare yourself!" Exchequer roared, in order to psyche himself up and prepare for his opponent <<Wolf A>>. He dashed towards the wolf and went in for a basic stab attack towards its body by pushing his rapier hand forward and extending it so his arm was straight and on point.

As Exchequer went in for the strike, the wolf proved quick and dodged it reflexively. And upon doing so, attempted to counter-attack. But luckily, Exchequer was cautious and saw it coming; letting the wolf hit the side of his blade; successfully parrying the attack.

"Looks I caught a lucky break by parrying that attack." Exchequer sighed.

Pyro watched as Sol and Exchequer attacked their own opponents. She unsheathed her own sword and excitedly rushed at her own enemy, the one wolf left.

Pyro runs towards her enemy and swings her sword, slashing the wolf in the stomach, turning with the blade letting it lead her. A red blur follows her sword as it moves gracefully through the air and leaves a red mark that quickly vanishes on the wolf. It whimpers and Pyro backs up. The wolf jumps at her aggressively and lands a slash on her arm with its claw.

Sol smirks as the Alpha Wolf continues to circle Sol, while Pyro and Exchequer targeted the smaller of the two wolves. The alpha wolf goes in to attack Sol bearing its huge teeth and claws, Sol deflects the claws and dips is head inward to dodge the bite. Using that forward momentum, Sol shoved the wolf off of his spear and then turned it to point forward, The blade of the spear beginning to glow a blue flame-like color. "Experience the power of a Dragoon!" Sol thrusts forward with his spear, the skill activating and shooting forward to pierce the skin of the alpha wolf. "AZURE THRUST!" As Sol teared through the Alpha Wolf's side, Sol was forced to follow his attack and slid about 10 feet, twirling his spear and shaking off the residue of the skill glow. "Heh, Like that!?" The alpha wolf turned with his red eyes peering at Sol, ready for a revenge strike now. It appeared a-lot tougher than it looked.

Seeing the others making progress in killing their targets, Exchequer was keen to try and get a hit on <<Wolf A>> this time. "Here we go!" Exchequer bellowed once again as he charged for the opponent and repeated the same attack he had done before; a basic point-to-point stab.

"Bullseye!" Exchequer celebrated briefly as his blade shone a translucent green as it made contact with the body of the wolf, and left behind a glowing red scar on its body. The wolf attempted to counter-attack by baring its teeth and leaping for Exchequer. But luckily, Exchequer ducked out of the way. "I think I might be getting the hang of this." He smirked.

Pyro watches Sol and Exchequer with fascination before realizing she has a target of her own. Pyro twirls her body in a circular motion, her sword extended out, and lands a direct hit on the wolf. It fails to dodge. She smiles evilly, knowing the wolf could only take one more hit.

Sol charges in to attack the alpha wolf once again, striking with another blow to the torso of the beast. As the wolf flinched, it attempted a bite but failed, due to the spear forcing the wolf back.

Remaining focused on his target, Exchequer narrowed his eyes and bounced off the toes of his feet with his rapier still point straight and dashed towards the wolf. Proceeding to impale it in the neck and push it to the side in order to avoid a possible counter-attack before backing away once more.

"One more attack ought to do it." Exchequer mumbled as he observed the depleting health bar of <<Wolf A>>.
