Eep! I'll stay down here! I like the snow! I exclaimed, jumping up and down on bare feet. I reached up and held Zero's hand, excited that we were leaving Starglade. I turned around once and whispered, Bye-bye Starglade. I won't forget you!

Zero gently held Mavis' hand and began to walk away hearing the girl. "I'm sure that you'll be able to come back to this place one day." He looked down at the girl and smiled kindly. "Now where would you like to go?"

[Aoife 0]

I wanna kill a monster! It's my turn to get back at them for being mean! I exclaimed, raising my hand in a small fist and a determined look on my face. I looked back up at Zero and smiled. That's what I wanna do!

[Zero 0]

Zero chuckled hearing and watching Mavis. He looked forward and thought about what she had said. "Well we can probably go after a few small monsters, but I recommend we head to one of the towns. That way you won't be in immediate danger."

[Aoife 0]

Okay! I took several steps forward and stopped, suddenly realizing something. I turned back around slowly and looked down at the ground with a pink face. Um... Zewo? Where is the nearest town? I asked, embarrassed.

[Zero 0]

Zero looked down at her and smiled. He kneeled down and gently patted her head. "No need to be embarrassed Lady Mavis and the nearest town isn't too far from here. Just stay close and will be there in no time, alright?"

[Aoife 0]

I nodded happily. Alright! I exclaimed, Let's go! I smiled and stood still, waiting for Zero to start walking.

[Zero 0]

Zero nodded and stood up straight. "Alright Lady Mavis." He smiled and resumed walking ahead. He looked at the sky slightly and watched the snowfall, it blended in with his white hair and shirt. "I'm not a big fan of snow, but I can't hate something so pretty and amazing..."

I struggled to keep up with Zero, since he was so much bigger than me. For every one of his steps, I had to take an extra two just to keep up. When he started talking about the snow, I smiled brightly. I love the snow! It's so pretty! And it's white! It's softer than hail, too. I stated, scampering at his side.

[Zero 0]

Zero looked down at Mavisa as they walked and slowed his pace down so she could keep up. "You are very adorable you know that Lady Mavis?" He chuckled and looked forward. "Don't know why you were all alone like that though."

[Aoife 0]

Grateful that he'd slowed down, I slowed my own pace so as to not waste energy. I- um... I kinda got lost.... I keep portal jumping on accident.... I explained.

[Zero 0]

"Ah I see." Zero laughed slightly and smiled. "Well I'm glad you managed to stay safe. You should be careful, carelessness is dangerous Lady Mavis."

[Aoife 0]

Yeah. But I wouldn't have found Starglade if I hadn't gotten lost. That means I wouldn't have met you! I'm happy as long as I get to meet new people! I exclaimed, clambering over a fallen log that was halfway hidden in the snow.

[Zero 0]

"Be careful not to fall Lady Mavis." Zero watched her carefully and kept himself ready in case she fell. "The snow makes things very slippery, believe me I should know."

[Aoife 0]

I got to the top of the log and stood up.I won't fall! I promise! I assured him. Looking back up at Zero, I exclaimed, Hey, I'm almost as tall as you, now! Hopping off the log and onto the snow on the other side, I scampered over to stand in front of him. And now I'm not!

[Zero 0]

Zero smiled and laughed gently patting Mavis' head. "Yeah Lady Mavis." He grinned and quickly picked her up placing her on his shoulder. "Now you're taller than me see?"

[Aoife 0]

My eyes widened and I laughed happily. Yes! I agreed. I peered into the night and saw what looked to be.... Lights? I think I see lights! I exclaimed, then glanced down at Zero. Are we really already that close to the town?

[Zero 0]

"Should be." Zero nodded and smiled holding Mavis tightly. "Once we're in the town we can find a diner to get something to eat then we can head to an Inn so you can rest. Alright?"

[Aoife 0]

Alright! I swung my legs back and forth, making sure not to kick Zero. The silliest idea popped into my head and I giggled. Giddy up! I exclaimed, laughing.

[Zero 0]

Zero chuckled when he heard Mavis and nodded. "Alright hold on then." He began to walk more quickly and soon began to slightly run. "We're almost there." He stated and smiled.
