He tried to make a move on the soldier wasp to get rid of it before it could do too much damage but the guardian wasps simply wouldn't let up. He noticed one of them falling behind after it stung him the others following up shorty. He pushed through the pain, he had to put his foot down. He charged at the wasp and cut straight through it, blowing it up into a million pieces, it was a rather satisfactory explosion, all he needed was to kill the other guardian wasp and it would be all over for them. It seemed that the more of the wasps kin that died the faster they fell apart, or perhaps it was because L just one shot their most tanky unit. Either way it didn't matter to L. He stepped forward taking the frontal assault this time. However they did something he did not expect, the soldier wasp went in to respond, without much time to think L simply jumped over it, flipping straight behind. He saw the guardian wasp below and without a second thought he cleaved straight down its body. ID:6028 ~Life attacks guardian wasp 2, perfect critical success! 10 damage! Life 0 Posted January 1, 2015 Author #23 Report Share Posted January 1, 2015 The solider wasp was furious, but it was 2 against 1, the odds were unfair to them from the start and now it was just to late for it to do anything about its precious wasp queen. L was a blurr of black and blue and the wasp an angry fuzz of black and yellow. He decided to try and bypass the soldier wasp and go straight for the queen however the soldier wasp was well aware of his movements and their intentions and so he intercepted his attack. L, not wanting to get hit by its interception decided to fake out and fade away, safely returning and facing the two furious wasps. "you really love your queen don't you" L frowned and tapped his machete on his shoulder preparing for the next strike. Life 0 Posted January 4, 2015 Author #24 Report Share Posted January 4, 2015 L made another quick attempt at the queen wasp, unfortunately for him the soldier wasp wasn't simple going to let him get past again. He stopped mid attack and dashed backwards, he needed to just kill the soldier wasp to get through it seemed. It was fine, it didn't make a difference to him anyway, it wasn't like they stood much of a chance either way. He sprinted to the right and picked up a small rock and threw it at the queen, the solider instinclivly blocked it. L dashed forward after it, it lowered its guard and to its dismay saw L right in front of him. With a quick flick of his wrist the soldier was commissioned. The queen wasp was insanely mad at him, he had slaughtered her best units it seemed and she wanted no more part in his existence. He jumped high into the air and the queen retaliated to his body language. Just as the twos blows where about to meet, a water spout exploded out from the lake beneath sending the two flying back. "Tch, just you wait you pest. Prepare for your end, i had fun." He smirked and readied his blade, the water annoyed him but it was nothing. It seemed the queen wasn't fazed at all by the events and still came at him. L wasn't sure how to react but after getting a feel for his surroundings he quickly decided to sink into one of the crevices narrowly dodging the queens attack. The tremors continued but he just pushed through them, he jumped high into the air to meet the ascendance of the queen bee. The queen turned to meet his gaze, and to L, the queens end. The blade sunk deep into the carapace of the wasp queen and let off a loud crack sound. The queen swiftly descended from the sky and with a thump both L and the queen hit the ground except only the queen vanished after that. The quest was completed and the boss was defeated. With a smirk he headed back to turn it in.
