Ren 0 Posted February 13, 2014 #1 Report Share Posted February 13, 2014 The Wolf’s Downfall Panel 01 There he was standing at the base of the Dungeon’s entrance, encased by the towering mountains which surrounded him, drowning Ren with their towering peaks. Slowly he snapped his neck, first towards his right, then to the other side, releasing a cracking noise each time, a noise so loud that echoed all the way through the mountains, the sound was so terrifying that even the everlasting mountains started to shiver. His eyes were narrowed as they started glittering with dark intent whilst a smirk spreaded upon Ren’s face, reaching all the way up towards his ears. Quote Report Link to post Share on other sites
Ren 0 Posted February 13, 2014 Author #2 Report Share Posted February 13, 2014 Panel 02 As he stepped within the room his vision was obstructed by a blinding red light which started illuminating the room for a mere second, spawning two lizard-like man creatures which appeared next to him. The dust underneath Ren swirled as he dashed away from their sight. Suddenly he appeared next to a monster, and with a swift motion he raised his right hand, swaying it once at his side. A small cloud of dust took shape above the lizard’s chest as he was pushed away abruptly, disappearing completely as his life bar was immediately drained. Ren 0 Posted February 13, 2014 Author #3 Report Share Posted February 13, 2014 Panel 03 The second one raised his sword at Ren, but before he had the chance to strike, Ren quickly ducked against the creature, following up with a right uppercut aimed for its ribs. A shattering noise was made when his fist made contact, breaking completly the lizard’s ribs, causing it to release a hissing sound before vanishing into thin air. Ren 0 Posted February 19, 2014 Author #4 Report Share Posted February 19, 2014 Panel 04 Faint lights were present, flickering, shaping the corridor, they're were lacking the necessary strength to cover up the whole place. As Ren was walking with heavily footsteps on the hallway, the air around him seemed to grow thicker. Becoming harder and harder for Ren to breath, it seemed as if he was underneath the ocean. Ren muttered to himself, snapping back to his senses. With a few small gestures as he was walking, he opened up his inventory arranging all his items for a much easier and faster use. Ren 0 Posted February 19, 2014 Author #6 Report Share Posted February 19, 2014 Panel 06 Ren was now facing the towering door which represented the final leap that he needed to surpass. He did not waste any more time, slowly extending his right hand, placing it upon the door. A utter silence consumed the moment, the atmosphere was dark and eerie. But the moment didn't last long, as a faint crying sound could be heard resonating from the woman, echoing between the corners, making its way towards Ren. Ren 0 Posted February 19, 2014 Author #9 Report Share Posted February 19, 2014 Panel 09 Ren slowly reached inside inside his coat, taking out a small bottle with a yellowish liquid inside of it. Within a swift gesture he gulped it all, his eyes slowly started turning gold as his attack speed was now slightly increased because of the potion. Blood was visible from the previous encounter as he swayed his index finger a few more times, taking out his Katana named Muramasa which was specially crafted for him. Ren 0 Posted February 19, 2014 Author #10 Report Share Posted February 19, 2014 Panel 10 Izanami swiftly raised all four of her arms up within the air, spreading them whilst keeping a equal distance from each other. Her eyes quickly glance over towards Ren while small and bluish particles start appearing above her hands, giving shape to a few ice shards. Suddenly, she witin a single movement, she lowers all her arms. He wasn't expecting such a large area attack, thus the shards caught up with him, laying a few scratches upon him. With a slight gesture made by his fingers which was underneath the guard, he raised his sword a inch above whilst lunging forth towards the Boss. The boss now slowly tuned towards him, whilst swaying his hands at Ren, but this time it was nothing more then a normal attack, he no longer used any kind of ability. As he was in mind air he quickly aimed his sword downwards, going for a thrusting attack. A bluish aura started forming around Izanami, as if it started channeling a eerie energy around itself. The boss finished casting it's ability, spawning two water-liked elements near him. Both started charging towards Ren, each from a side, trying to corner the unevenly matched player. Ren 0 Posted February 27, 2014 Author #18 Report Share Posted February 27, 2014 Panel 18 The wolf sighed, whilst positioning himself against those two water elements. His katana, Muramasa slowly starting glowing, as white particles took shape upon it. A hacking noise covered the room as Ren was clenching his teeth, grinding them against each other. He grasped tightly upon its handle, swaying it once around in a arched manner, performing a cleaving attack. Ren's blade went pass through those elements, as if they were nothing. Ren 0 Posted February 27, 2014 Author #19 Report Share Posted February 27, 2014 Panel 19 Even if the wound wasn't that serious, Izanami screamed furiously when Ren's blade managed to pierce her flesh. The so called Boss has now been injured by its prey, only the thought made her insane. Izanami's actions became a bit reckless, swiftly her hands were raised towards the sky, whilst blue particles started forming around them once more. Ren 0 Posted February 27, 2014 Author #20 Report Share Posted February 27, 2014 Panel 20 Ren didn't stutter for a mere second, he was stiff as a statue. Slowly he let go of his sword, grabing it after he slightly twisted his hand, in order to reverse its cutting edge.
