Noob questions (Starting col and armor)

I saw the starting items, food, water, etc... but no Col? Also, what purpose do the starting food and water serve? I saw a long list on crafted foods, but not sure if the starter stuff has an effect (other than obviously just stating hunger :P)

 

Also, I see heavy and light armor on the skill section, but they both seem to have he same effect. Am I missing something?

The Armor does indeed have the same effect, but its categorized as Light Armor such as Leather, Chain Mail, Scaled, etc because they don't pose a threat to one's speed. Heavy Armor such as Full Plate Steel Armor and such would obviously be heavy like how a knight would be. But yes there's no starting Col, you have to earn it through RP. You can do it this way though, 1 page = 400 Col or somewhere around there I think.

Thanks Asen, that's what I expected, but I couldn't find anything that showed what the difference was.

Alright, if you have anymore questions then you should pm the GameMasters or even the Admin tho I wouldn't recommend that one unless its for emergencies.
