[SP-F3 & F1] Quest: Worn Out Welcome (Complete)

Shinex entered the smith with his basic cloth clothing and his scimitar, Razor Cutter sheathed. He noticed a woman with her back turned. Shinex knew that she was an NPC. "Hello?" he said.

 

The woman turned back with a smile. "Hello player. My name is Hanna. My husband is working on something. He'll be back. Please browse around if you wish."

 

"Okay thank you." Shinex replied. He looked around the shop. He never saw any of the armor in the shop due to all of this being unique. Looking for something that'll make me fast.

It took a while, but Griswold did come to the shop. "Hello there player!" he said with a bold voice.

 

"Hello. You are Griswold?" Shinex replied.

 

Griswold nodded. "I'm assuming you'd like me to make you a custom armor? Is that correct?" Griswold asked.

 

"Yea! It is. I've been wearing the regular cloth clothing for quiet some time. I think it's time to change."

 

Griswold laughed. "Alright, so I just need to know what kind of armor and the details on how it looks." Shinex nodded informed the armor that would please him. Shinex wants light armor which is also dark. Since the armor falls into the light category, he needs to get leather. Shinex wanted a dark outfit. In Floor 1, there are stronger boars in the grasslands. Black Boars to be exact. Shinex will need to slay four and get four pieces of black leather. Shinex agreed on what materials to get and headed towards the teleportation area of the fifth floor.

Shinex was walking around the grassland on Floor 1. The black boards were no where to be found. "Probably have to get rid of regular boars so black ones will spawn in." Shinex walked around looking for a boar to battle. He eventually found some strong ones and decided that they'll do.

Two boars approached him. Shinex knew a fight would start. Shinex swung at the first boar and it was a hit. His sword did a lot of damage due to its enhancement. The boar tried to tackle Shinex but it was easily evaded. The boar tripped and fell. The second one caught Shinex by surprised by tackling his back. Shinex stumbled forward. Need to watch the other one more.

The first boar got up from the ground. Shinex dashed in and went for an uppercut slash. The boar stumbled back and charged Shinex. "Too soon!" Shinex rolled to his right and stuck his foot out tripping the boar. Shinex quickly got up to his feet and watched the second boar. He patiently waited for the boar's move.

The boar charged Shinex and the attack was evaded. Shinex took a step to his left. When the boar's right side was visible, Shinex kicked it down.

Shinex raised his sword and charged the boar while it was trying to get up. He slashed downwards at the boar causing a huge slash mark. The boar took slower to get back up.

The boar who was tripped was up again. Shinex noticed and got ready to defend. The boar charged Shinex. The charge was easily evaded by dodging it. Shinex noticed the other boar. It was getting ready to charge as well.

The boar charged Shinex. The charge was blocked by Shinex's sword, but it wasn't enough. Shinex's block failed causing him to stumble back. He quickly got his balance back.

Shinex raised his sword at the second boar. He charged and slashed twice. An X mark was shown after Shinex's attack. The boar shattered.

 

• Rolled a 13 on the d20 (loot) dice.

A screen popped up in front of Shinex. He quickly accepted the 40 Col and focused on the last boar. "If I keep this up I'll end up spawning black boars."

The boar charged Shinex. Shinex was already used to the boar movements on the first floor. He quickly dodged it and slashed its side when it passed. The boar fell on the ground and shattered. Shinex sheathed his sword. "Pretty great battle. I'm getting better everyday."

The loot screen popped up showing Shinex his 40 Col reward. Shinex walked around looking for a black boar. He quickly noticed one in the distance. "Aw yes!" He ran towards it getting ready to fight. The boar wasn't alerted so Shinex will make the first move.

Shinex snuck up behind the boar. The boar still not alerted was getting ready for a surprise. Shinex ran in and kicked it back. The boar turned around only to see Shinex add in 2 slashes. He slashed to the right then left. The boar stumbled back. Anger in its eyes. It charged Shinex. Shinex thought the black boar would have the same movement as the others, but it started moving in zigzags. It tackled Shinex causing him to fall back. Shinex kept his balance.

Shinex and the black boar began to fight recklessly. Shinex would slash whenever he felt like it, the boar would tackle when ready. After all the attempts failed, they faced each other. Shinex stopped gripping Razor Cutter with both hand and held it with his right. The two foes charged at each other. Shinex sliced through the boar. The boar knew it was hurt, but still turned around and tackled Shinex's back. Shinex turned around and faced the boar. Just a little more.

Shinex wanted to end this as quick as possible. He started taunting the boar. The boar was enraged and charged Shinex. Shinex charged back. They both used their movements as their tactics. In the end, Shinex made the final strike. The boar was launched back and shattered.

Shinex received a reward screen. He noticed his reward was a material. He read the name. Shinex quickly accepted the reward along with the quest item Black Leather and wandered off towards Starting City.

Shinex just wanted to take a quick rest at Starting City and that is what he did. He remembered when he was fighting boars when he was level one. Good times he thought. He walked back out into the grassland. He saw other players killing boars. He needed to get to a place where other players wouldn't be. He ventured farther into the grassland where the tougher boars would be. After looking around, there were no black boars. He'd need to kill off some more regular boars to spawn the black ones. He unsheathed Razor Cutter and walked off for a hunt.

There were two boars facing each other and eating. The two didn't notice Shinex yet. He walked closer while gripping tightly onto his sword.

Shinex was close enough for him to dash and slash at one of them. He whistled causing the two boars to look at him. Shinex quickly dashed in and did an uppercut slash on one of the boars. The boar fell back but kept its balance. The other boar had its tusks ready and tried to stab Shinex with one of them. Shinex kicked the boar back and made it fall down.

The boar that Shinex attacked was up. It ran towards Shinex to tackle him. Shinex saw it coming, but was too late to react. He was tackled, but wasn't knocked down. He held onto Razor Cutter with one hand. He glared at the two boars. One is facing me while the other is still on the ground. Shinex has his attack strategy ready.

Shinex went for the boar that was currently standing up. He slashed to his left then right and kicked the boar back. The boar kept its balanced and waited for an attack. Shinex noticed the other boar getting up. He focused his attention on the boar as soon as it charged him. Shinex jumped back and stuck his foot out which caused it to fall back on the ground. "Must be an unlucky day for you" he commented.

Shinex remembered the damage he took last time and focused on the boar in front of him. It charged Shinex with its tusks. Shinex quickly jumped back and then kicked the boar back. The boar fell down just like its partner. Shinex raised his sword for a strike, but he didn't know which boar to attack.

Shinex went for the first one. He slashed twice and made an X mark. His X-Mark combo. The boar flew back and shattered. He looked towards the other boar and blocked by placing his left hand on the flat side of the blade. The boar overwhelmed the block and pushed Shinex back. Shinex held his ground focusing on the last boar.

Even though Shinex didn't get any loot, he was okay with it. He didn't want to accept the loot while in a battle. He was starting to get more annoyed at it. Shinex gripped onto Razor Cutter with both hands. "Let's finish this."

Shinex rushed the boar without thinking. He went for a slash but the boar jumped back. The boar then attempted a tackle on Shinex. Shinex fell back and quickly got up. He held his scimitar with both hands gripping tightly onto it.

Shinex didn't take long after getting up. He quickly rushed and made an uppercut swing while holding onto Razor Cutter with both hands. The boar flew back but landed on its feet. It charged Shinex and aimed its tusk at his stomach. Shinex dodged it by sliding to his left.

Shinex then swung his sword to his right as he turned to face the boar. His sword would slice across the boar as it is still in the air. The boar fell on the ground and shattered.

A screen popped out to show Shinex something. It was a pair of black pants. He accepted it thinking it'll go well with his reward for the quest.

Shinex took another quick break by sleeping against a rock. After waking up and feeling refreshed, he ventured out to take out some more boars. Unfortunately no black boars were around. He needed to continue to fight off the regular boars and that is what he did. He was looking for a group of boars to continue to fight two at a time. He wondered if he could take on three, but he didn't want to risk it. It took a while, but two boars wandered off on their own for Shinex. He would get closer with Razor Cutter unsheathed. The fight would soon begin.

Shinex would have his sword by his right side and dash the first boar. The boar couldn't see it coming. An uppercut slash was made on the boar as its back was facing Shinex. The boar fell down but got back up quickly. It went to tackle Shinex, but missed due to a dodge. Shinex held his left hand on the blade of his sword as its side would face the second boar. Shinex didn't have enough strength to block the boar so he was overwhelmed and knocked down. Shinex quickly got back up to his feet and got his sword ready.

Shinex would rush the first boar and finish it off with a diagonal slash. The boar shattered and no reward screen popped up. The second boar surprised Shinex by getting behind him and tackling him. Shinex fell over, but got up quickly. Shinex gripped onto his blade tightly with both hands. "You're a sneaky one aren't you?" Shinex started to adjust his stance.

Shinex would charge the second boar and stop. The boar stumbled back surprised and confused. Shinex would then slice through the boar. Shinex would then turn around and wait for the boar's turn. The boar quickly turned around and tackled too quickly. Shinex saw it coming and dodged the boar by sliding to a side. Shinex held Razor Cutter with his right hand and pointed it at the boar after it turned around.

Shinex dashed in and slashed the boar's face. The boar stumbled back then went in for a tackle. Shinex easily dodged by sliding to the left.

After dodging, Shinex ran in and tried to slash downwards. The boar jumped to its left causing Shinex to stumble forward. The boar would then rush in and tackle Shinex's back. Shinex turned around and raised his sword for another attack.

Shinex's sword was raised. He tends to do that before an attack. He quickly sliced through the boar. The monster would shatter before hitting the ground.

A screen popped up and gave Shinex 40 Col as a reward. Shinex would then turn around and head towards Starting City.

All Shinex did was take a nap at Starting City. He woke up, ate a fruit item he had and walked back towards the grassland. The sun just came up when Shinex woke up. He would search around for the black boars in order to get the quest item he needed. It took a long while, but he was amazed to see two black boars standing besides each other. "Alright, last time the black boar had some zigzag pattern. Gotta remember that." Shinex crouched down, unsheathed his sword, and then snuck towards the two boars. He wanted to end the two for the items he needed.

Shinex raised his sword and sliced through one of the boars. The boar fell back and is currently on the ground. The other boar quickly tackled Shinex's side while running in a zigzag. Looks like they still use that tactic. The second boar got up and glared at Shinex. The boar tackled Shinex before he was able to notice. Shinex stumbled back and faced the two boars as they stood side by side. Probably should have fought one at a time.
