Originally an intelligent, but quiet boy, Micheal lived in the pages of books. He did poorly in school, and was jaded from an early age due to a less than simple custody battle. He flitted through his formative years in a blur of music, stories, and particularly poor grades, paying a bit too much attention to the opinions of his peers. At the beginning of high school, Micheal, becoming incredibly desperate to make friends, joined in with the wrong crowds and did whatever he could to gain their favor, often times to disastrous results, then during his senior year of school, he had become such a nuisance, his parents finally kicked him out.

Living in his car, and with little going for him but his job as a cashier at a local fast food chain, Micheal relied on his sudden burst of self-confidence and charisma to charm his way out of most situations. Finally in a place of his own, and with more freedom than he's ever known before, Micheal has just saved up enough money to buy the NerveGear, hoping to escape from reality and the depression he's been in since as long as he can remember.

 

Micheal has always loved the thief class, not because of any fallacies in the direction of his moral compass, but because he always loved the stealth and tact that was needed to be successful in such a class. Known for his uncannily good luck, Micheal hopes some of it will translate in to the game...

 

 

Virtues:

Charismatic: Micheal's confidence makes him incredibly easy to talk to, and he often manages to weasel his way in to and out of the tightest of situations because of it. He also thrives in crowded areas and times where knowing what to say are a necessity, drawing from the spirit of the crowd to rally them in whichever way he so chooses.

Altruistic: Micheal has a firm moral compass, and does everything he can to be a paragon of justice for those around him. this coupled with his charisma makes him an oddly strong leader. He is also incredibly loyal to those he does manage to form a connection with.

Creative: Micheal's intelligence allows him to think things through in multiple ways at once, often planning the next five moves, five different ways, before the enemy has responded to his first. This makes him nearly unpredictable on the battlefield, and an amazing problem solver out of it.

Flaws:

Sardonic: Having a jaded opinion of the world has placed Micheal in a relatively depressed state. He covers it up with his wit though, which is dark, sarcastic, and often a tad too on the nose.

 

Vain: While not cripplingly so, Micheal's affinity for vanity leaves him a tad hard to approach sometimes, and, while looks are important to him, he's even more so obsessed with his accomplishments, sometimes making him bite off a bit more than he can chew to try and add to them.

 

Blasé: Micheal often gets bored easily, and hates the monotony of grinding, making him slow to progress through levels. Micheal is most at home exploring new paths, or intermingling with new wanderers, making connections difficult to make and maintain.
