[SP-F2] Slaying the Hive Queen! (Long Live the Queen)

Natsu had been staring at the quest board for a long time in the High Fields of Crossing when his eyes eventually scrolled down to the Long Live the Queen quest, which didn't seem too hard but wasn't exactly easy either. It would be hard for Natsu to complete alone, but he had to. Selecting the quest to read, the quest popped up in front of Natsu.

This Repeatable quest takes place on Floor 2
 

 

Word from the Information Brokers speaks of a hidden respawning Field Boss on Floor 2. A small party reported having farmed the <<Wind Wasps>> found throughout the fields awakened a hidden Field Boss. This monster, identified as <<Wind Wasp Queen>>, proved to be a dangerous opponent for the relatively low leveled party, and dropped a powerful Alchemical Potion.


This RP will not count in the benchmark
Requirement:
The Wasp Queen must be defeated, Maximum Party Size of 3
At least two [2] Pages
Rewards:

1. <<The Matriarch's Stinger>> This incredibly potent venom can be applied to a weapon to provide an additional +1 damage for the duration of one battle.
2. 3 Skill Points

<The Wasp Queen> is a respawning Field Boss and has the following statistics:
HP: 30
Damage per Attack: 2

Parties or Groups of low level players are encouraged.
You are free to control the Wasp Queen yourself, however she must be Rp'd responsibly.

Note: While you may repeat this Quest as many times as you like, the 3 Skill Point reward will only be obtained on the first completion of the Quest. Repeat completions will only yield <<The Matriarch's Stinger>>

Natsu clicked the accept button and moved on to discuss how he would make it to there without dying.....It was past the city of Urbus, so maybe on the way to Urbus Natsu would grind a bit to up his level before heading to defeat the hive queen.

Heading down the mountain, where the High Fields of Crossing( a beautiful place to be) were, to the town of Urbus, Natsu felt like he could face and kill anything that got in his way. Natsu knew in this game- It was his realm, his world to do what he wanted to do- Not no one else's world.

Natsu turned to where the sound had come from the see a rather large bear standing there, about to attack something.... Natsu couldn't tell, but then Natsu realized the bear had just ate a bunny rabbit.  Natsu loved bunnies! He would kill this bear for hurting the poor bunny. "Die!" Natsu charged at the bear that wasn't too far from where he was. Natsu ran up at the bear, as his hand began to glow, as if there was a fire growing in his had, and slashed his hand at the bear. That was the first time Natsu had tried his Martial Art's skill.

Flying backwards, even though not hit, Natsu liked to act as if he was hit for some odd reason. Natsu looked at his hand for a moment, amazed by it's astounding power. Who knew one arm or hand could hold so much power truly within? Not Natsu till now that was. Natsu prepared his next hit, with his hand not turning into a flame substance, just immersing itself in blue coloring as Natsu dove forward at the Bear.

The bear dissolved into millions of crystals before it could eat the rest of the bunny population, which made Natssu happy. Bunnies and penguins were amazing to Natsu.

Natsu continued down the mountain, hoping to find more bears somewhere along the line down the mountain. With luck  on his side, Natsu was able to locate a bear. There it sat, staring right past Natsu, acting like he wasn't there.

Natsu ran at the bear, activating his martial arts skill while he ran, and then charged into the bear, karate chopping it, with hope of a hit.

Now all that was left was to finish off this bear and then move forward mor further into his quest to slay the Hive Queen. Natsu sprinted forward at the bear, as close as they were already, and tackled it. Natsu tackled a bear. Natsu had to be mentally insane to attempt to tackle a bear, much more successfully completing the tackle with the bear pinned down. Natsu lifted up his fist and pounded it down onto the bear.

Natsu continued down the mountain slowly walking down each walk fall being careful to not fall, just hoping to gain a level and maybe get a health potion as a loot drop before challenging the hive queen thing. Sure enough the next bear came. And it was doing something more unbearable than the one eating rabbits......It was eating penguins! Just joking. it  was actually eating grass. But just the same Natsu still had to kill it.

Natsu had to finish off the bear and continue on. Natsu lunged forward at the bear, not wasting anytime considering a plan of action, just wanting to kill the bear to get some good loot and to ensure Natsu's own safety. Natsu's hand began to look like fire again as his arm went up, attempting to hit the bear's stomach with this next chop.

Natsu could maybe handle one or two more fights with bears, but no more than that. Natsu continued going down the mountain until he could see the city of Urbus. It wasn't too far away! But the closer it was the closer the battle with the hive queen would come..... Natsu continued to walk until he was stopped by almost stepping on a resting wolf. It got up as it opened it's eyes and Natsu knew he would have to fight. Natsu leaped forward and atttempted to punch the wolf.

Natsu knew he had to continue through the last field before he would make it to the town, or rather city, of Urbus. But it seemed the field was blocked by a mini wolf pack of only two wolves, as it seemed the last wolf Natsu had killed must have been their leader. Now Natsu would destroy these two wolves as well. Natsu's hands turned red as he dove forward, toward the one  that was seemingly a female, but as far from what Natsu could tell.

Now that only one more wolf was standing in Natsu's way, it wouldn't be too hard to defeat without the rest of the pack to defend it. The wolf snarled angrily as it stared at Natsu, eager to destroy Natsu's face it seemed. But Natsu would wipe that snarl off of it's face by killing it....Or rather uninstalling it! It wasn't that funny but Natsu couldn't help chuckling a bit when he said it. His arm began to glow with a flame as Natsu charged forward at the wolf to engage in combat.

Natsu was inflicted minimal damage from the last hit, but Natsu had to continue his pursuit of the enemy wolf. Natsu continued rushing like he had the past enemies, only this time his hand turned blue-flamish as he attempted a better skill, rather indicated by what the skill did, you just punched the enemy, rather in the center equilibrium. Or not so much indicated.

With five health remaining, Natsu won the battle with 64 col and a extra material.

Natsu knew the power of his martial arts skill and knew he would soon be a good factor in a boss battle soon enough when the time came along. Natsu walked right into the town where an NPC stopped him. The NPC and Natsu talked a bit and in the end, Natsu found that the hive queen was in the field past the next village along the way, rather than being in the next one. That was good because Natsu needed more time to level. Natsu began to peek around the town.

As Natsu walked back out of Urbus, he began to think deeply what the battle with the "queen" would be like. Hopefully some sort of fun, but with also no death involved. Natsu walked slowly down the path, until he was stopped by a bee. Natsu had no idea what sort of bee it was, most definitely not the queen he knew, but Natsu had no choice except to knock it out.

The bee's stinger pierced Natsu, but it didn't hurt as much as Natsu thought it might have. Gathering his courage again, Natsu looked deep into the bee's eyes then charged up, Natsu sprinting faster and faster until he swunng his hand, which seemed to be in some kind of flame, yet purple. In his head, Natsu was thinking about the bee the whole time, to keep his concentration, and to consider the game. It was amazing. Natsu was never really smart, but a fast thinker all the same.

Natsu was hit one again by the bee, beginning to see the effects on his health bar finally. Natsu looked at the  bee, a little pissed off at it. Natsu began to sprint, from being a bit of distance from the bee, and then his arm grew into an orange flare, using a skill he had not used yet. Natsu had never seen it on the list before....Maybe more skills appear when you defeat a higher total number of monsters?

Natsu would continue unconditionally, no matter what monster got in his way. Natsu began to slowly start out into a slow jog, ever pacing for a bit, then eventually beginning to go a little faster on the medium(middle) of the passage(trail) to the next village before the queen's appearance. But Natsu was stopped by a rather large boar, with marks of flame down it's hide. A giant monster! Nah, more like a random appearance of a strong-type mob, note this was not a normal boar.

Natsu charged up at it, wanting to slay it immediately.But before Natsu could close in, the boar charged at him. "Do it, see what happens!" Natsu quickly dove out of the way as the boar ran into a tree and Natsu slammed the thing harder into the tree with a huge kick.

Now Natsu had to finsh off the giant hunk of piled up fat. "disgusting!" Natsu didn't know what he was talking about though, the boar was an amazing piece of work in the video game museum, section Sword Art Online. In most games they had slimes, the weaker one would be called just slime or green slime while here it was a frenzy boar, red slime or such, the rampaging boar Natsu was currently facing, and a king slime, the one strongest seen so far in Sword Art Online, holding 50 health. Natsu actually planned on looking for one of those soon enough, but now he had to focus on the medium of the three. "DIE!" Natsu dove at the boar crazily.

Now Natsu just had to finish off the crazy hunk of beef. Charging at the fool of a boar, switch-footing when in target(or check, hahaha) annd then looking at the bboar from like two feet away. Natsu stared at it, but then eventually leaped forward to slay the beast. The boar burst into thousands of little crystals as Natsu watched the crystals in awe.

Natsu could here it's little screams from inside. In the real world you see, Natsu was a vegan but he ate animals in the game just because they were not real. That's part of the reason Natsu loved this game. Natsu looked at the wolf, smirking. "Ready to die yet?"

So Natsu was now seeing his journey change from a quest to slay the hive queen to a material hunt. Natsu did need to grind a bit before facing the queen, so it wouldn't hurt to pick up some materials along the way either, would it? And this wolf would hopefully drop 1 or 2 wolf pelt when Natsu killed it. he had high hopes. Balling his fist in his hands, Natsu turned towards the wolf and sprinted at it, screaming that it will die in a high-pitched voice, seemingly like a squeaky girl scream. LOL.
