He was by far and large the most popular blacksmith, which is why I needed to win his favor. No, I didn't expect to woo him or to get him to give me some sort of discount. See, people of any game kept the important secrets of their trade, well... secret. In this game, there was no proper way to research this information online or in gaming groups at school. I know I have to find my own way to become a stronger player and the first step to achieving that was establishing myself amongst the players. I fixed my straps before opening the door leading into the smithshop known as The Molten Blades. I took a sweeping glance of the shop before settling my eyes on the man behind the counter, "Are you the one known as The Darkin Blade?" He sat in his forge all by himself , dressed in his normal outfit , meaning normal clothes , black as color , that were covered by a black coat... Until someone opened his door asking if he was "The Darkin Blade".. The Darkin Blade.. It was so long from the last time someone called him that.. " Oh.. Yes.. That would be me.." He said to the girl that just opened his door.. She was young.. " Welcome to my forge.." He said as he got up and put his hood on.. Usually when he sat alone in the forge he didn't keep the hood on.. I leaned against it, staring in disbelief at the man beyond the counter, but that bit of conversation could wait. I had more pressing matters at hand, "I'm looking for a blacksmith that can fit the bill." I handed him a contract for 400 Col, which wasn't much, but that shouldn't be his main concern. He should be more worried about protecting his honor as a true blacksmith, "There's been hearsay of a certain creature wandering the woods." This served me two proper purposes, determining if this gentleman was lowering the quality of his production to provide himself with the best weapons and to find out if the rumors of the creature was real. He knew that for 400 col he couldn't craft her much.. Only an uncommom or so.. But he decided to play nice and craft her a perfect next time he could.. "First , I would like to know your name.. Mine is Kosan.. Secondly , what creatures are you talking about ?" Kosan asked her on a low tone .. This could be great info , not really for his shop , but for his needs of XP and such.."If you could lead me to them I will craft you an item of your choice for the 400 col.. Deal ?" I bowed my head a little in respect, "Nice to finally meet you, Kosan." I already knew his name from the talk about his shop, but I figured I would let him feel as if it was a more personal encounter. I folded my arms and cut to the chase, "There's rumors of a fearsome creature prowling in the forest and I need a reliable escort to go with, that's why I came to you." I was a lower level and didn't intend to take the risk of going on my own, regardless of how much of a threat that this unconfirmed creature had to offer. Plus, with his knowledge of the blacksmith trade and the potential of him carrying equipment of a better quality, The Darkin Blade sounded as good as an escort as any. I turned to face the door, "Oh... Thank you." I was surprised he would be willing to cut such a deal, perhaps he had heard the rumors too, "Meet me outside once you're ready and we'll head out." He went into the back room and equipped his armor and cape , ready for battle.. He wasn't really sure what creature they will encounter , but he was happy he could help someone.. As soon as he leaved the forge , he locked the door and said.. "Okay , you lead , i follow.." As he waited for her to lead the way..
