"Finally," thought Azide as his blade made contact with the insect. With a slight crunch, Quantum Slicer sliced cleaning through the creature, bisecting it altogether and making it shatter into pieces. Moments before, the wasp had come very close to hitting him a final time, but had just barely missed him. This was another one of those "armor moments", in which he could thank the lightness of his armor for saving him. "This thing's mobility sure comes in hand," he thought, holding his jacket. In any case, the wasp had been felled, leaving behind a hardened bit of honey. "No col, though," he noted. He wasn't about to head off in search of more monsters or col, however. "I've had enough of this for today." He sent the material to his inventory, then began his long walk out of the desert and back to the lab. "This place is so hot." He sighed, glad to be leaving it.
