[SP-F5,6,7] Just for Kicks <<COMPLETE>>

Recommended Posts

Surprisingly, on this night, Zelrius didn't have any nightmares or Haunting dreams. The drink's effect from floor 5 had finally worn off and Zelrius was good as new. In peak condition and always thinking and analyzing, just as normal. Even now, He felt better then he did in the past. Or at-least he thought so, but truth be told, He was just a tiny bit worse, It was just that he hadn't felt well in a few weeks so he was beginning to lose sight of what "Feeling well" Feels like.

Zelrius went about in the morning to get food and other necessary things for the trip, Hoping to find another town by the end of the day. This to him would be another adventure. He also went ahead and bought Ice and Cooling packs; The tropical weather didn't sit well with his darkly colored robes and other adornments. Within seconds of buying the ice packs, He hid them around his body. Buying little cloths to tie the Ice packs to his body under the robe, He then began the journey.

Before officially taking off, Zelrius decided to go ahead and buy a few fire bomb so that he could easily get out of a Large vine trap. With all these supplies, it took a large chunk of his money. But it was well worth it, Almost anything was worth an adventure no one else has yet to experience, Besides, He was one of the first on the floor, So it was even more worth it because he could sell back all the map data before any Information broker could and make tons of money.

Zelrius charged on from the city, Ignoring the safety railing that was meant to keep people on the platform without accidentally falling to their death. He leaped over the railing and on to the nearest tree. With this he jumped lower and lower from tree to tree, effectively saving about Ten minutes it would've taken the lift. He unleashed his unearthly scream, To this Miles caught up and they charged a wererat together. The rat stood on it's hind legs and jumped to pounce on Miles

The wererat was fast, But Zelrius was faster. Zelrius jumped from the ground on to Miles' back and leaped toward the rat, Sticking his blade in it, Quickly pulling it out and then slashing the Monster to the ground. Once it landed, Miles was already biting on it and chasing it around. Zelrius jumping from tree to tree not wanting to lost the EXP for the kill went forward and stuck his right foot right in it's skull, effectively knocking it down for the killing blow. To which was a simple slash.

Zelrius looked at Miles with a smirk. He knew that he was strong enough to survive. Maybe not strong enough to do Dungeons by himself, but still enough he could defend him self against all odds the game threw at him. It was a glorious feeling that he wished he could share with someone. But no one was with him at the moment, reminding him that he was in fact a PKer and that others feared him or were so disgusted they ignored him, Either way, as of right now Zelrius was alone.

Zelrius continued on just walking around. Uncovering the land in Floor 6 to sell for good measure. This would cost tons of money, more then normal, because of how it would help players navigate the dark Jungle without wasting Lantern Fuel. The money it would bring it would be more then enough to replace the provisions it took for the trip, and more. It gave him good thoughts, Just another way to show he wan't an evil and cruel PKer.

That would be his next quest. If he could get a hold of Asen or Zauis, maybe he could redeem himself. The drink had ruined his reputation. It made him kill people who didn't deserve it and even He had killed an Entire guild over them protecting him. Of course he didn't know they were helping him at the time, But that was the outcome. If you looked at it, It would all seem like Zelrius was enjoying the kills, which he wasn't for a second. Each one haunted him in his dreams

In his dreams, he saw their faces and how they met their ends. Even though he didn't remember consciously making the descision to kill those people, he remembered doing it and why. What he didn't remember was controlling his body and actually performing the actions. Though he does remember seeing himself commit those crimes. It didn't do him much good to think of such things as it only dragged him down from enjoying what he had left.

Tears were brought to his eyes. He thought about how he couldn't possibly enjoy anything ever again since he had taken away from so many people. He had to face the facts. He was murderer. He was a coward. Only able to kill in a game where none would have the evidence to convict him. In real life, He would've never done it because of that reason. But here, He could get away from it. With these thoughts, The tears came out and began streaming down his face.

He quickly began wiping them away. It was habit to do so, He never liked it when someone could see him cry and always got mad when someone did. Even though no one was around, he wiped them from his face, and taking a stop to get his bearings. He looked around, Zelrius was still in the Jungle that never ended and just got back to walking. As he went on, He realized how he walked right under a village.

Zelrius looked around the Dark and dank Jungle. The tropical heat not cooling down as night approached. Recently, Zelrius had been able to tell the shift in Day and Night in the jungle even though the Jungle wasn't ever really lit up. Zelrius looked about, ready for the Monsters to come. Completely dropping all other thoughts he began to notice his lantern slowly drain of light and vibrance.

To this he grunted. Zelrius had forgotten to buy oil for the damned lamps. Standing around cursing himself like a sailor for being and idiot for a few moments. It suddenly came to him that; The shops got their Oil from somewhere, even if it was a game, the GMs made it realistic, most likely they got it from trees or Monsters. His guess; Monsters. The trees didn't see, like they would hold Oil, neither would that be real.

Zelrius, whilst looking at the Lantern and walking fell down a hole in the Jungle floor. To any Onlookers, it would've seemed as if the Boy had disappeared from reality altogether. When he got his bearings back, He could see the dark Dungeon floor of that he was now in. When Zelrius tried to teleport out of the hole, Nothing had happened, meaning he would now have to complete it to escape.

Zelrius focused his attention on the Dungeon now. Forgetting all other thoughts he had just had, He now needed to escape. Zelrius was noticing dwindling supplies of food and Oil, Therefore the escape would have to be made today to still make it comfortably back to the nearest village. If he didn't make it back in the next 24 hours (Which is what remained of his oil) He would almost certainly be lost in the Jungle for what might be forever.

He walked on, Not entirely sure what there was to expect down here. Zelrius trudged on to find the exit, which was not forthcoming. Eventually he had met a few things he hadn't expected. There within the Jungle floor Zelrius found three of the same monster. They were Barghests. These terrible wolves having frontal paws that were more like clawed hands then actually wolf Paws. Zelrius and Miles prepared to fight the trio, and win, at any cost. He charged forward for an attack.

(OOC BATTLE SYSTEM FOR THIS RP!)

Battle System: Same as in Scoping,

Damage = D = Ex Say Attacker rolls 6, And Defender rolls a 3, The attacker does 2 damage If you roll 1-2 higher it is 1 damage, If you rolls 3-6 it is 2 damage, 7-9 higher is 3 damage

Attacker: Battle die is the only that counts, a 10 is automatically 3 + D Ex, If attacker rolls a 10 and Defend rolls a 9, That is 4 damage.

Defender: If you roll a Higher battle die, You can dodge, If you roll a higher Battle AND loot, You can Counter

(First Barghest Dodge/Coutner phase)

The might beast saw Zelrius coming for him and leaped to avoid and ready for another attack. It jumped over the boy, spun around and pounced on him, taking a bite of his torso. Zelrius was horrified as he now knew what true terror felt like as this beast bit into him. Even more so, the Beast was atleast twice the size of Miles. This struck more fear into Zelrius as he though about how Miles might not be strong enough

(Miles Attack Phase)

Miles saw his master getting attacked and instantly reverted to predator mode. Miles moved fast, skipping distances at incredible speeds to save Zelrius from any further pain. Miles jumped to tackle, which failed miserably. Miles ended up off all his feet laying on the ground for but a few moments, getting up once again to face the other beasts who were sure to begin their own offensive attacks.

(Barghest Dodge/Counter Phase)

The wild beast saw the smaller wolf coming for him and moved to evade. The barghest hopped right off of Zelrius at the sight of the Wolf coming to save the boy. When he leaped off, He had made a jump a little too far back, not allowing for an easy Counter. With the current circumstance the Beast thought of an offensive maneuver.
