Zelrius made hsi way up from the Hydra door, This being right after the Fight with the Hydra. The Blood Buccaneer was tired, a Lot had transpired over the last few days. He sighed and trudged on through and noticed with each step an echo and there were no lights of any kind. To this he looked up from his feet and noticed it was rather dim in the Floor. To this, Zelrius was puzzled and looked into his Minimap. Much to the boy's dismay, Zelrius had learned rather quickly that there was no sunlight going to be in this entire floor. Only the light that the game implemented, and in the distance, The buildings that had flickering lit windows, more then likely lit with fire. Sighing, Zelrius drew out the Twinfire sword in which he owned, Equiping his newest item, The Hydra head, The boy walked forth to the nearest city.

When he got to the town, The people were hard to see, That was until they reached the faint glint of red and blue flame emitting from his weapon. The people here were little different from the other floors, with the exceptions of the black dust covered NPCs that occasionally made their way into visibility. Clearly this floor would come up with Mining quests, or something of the like, as most RPGs did when they had cities or towns of this sort. Of course, This didn't bother Zelrius, mainly because he was orange, he was quickly forced out by armed invincible guards. That didn't take them long to find and push him out the other side of the city from which he entered. With an exasperated breath, He had expected as much as a shove out. Walking on ward, Zelrius simply made his way to the Floor tower, already quite tired of this floor as was.

Zelrius made his way there rather quick, with no monster encounters. That was, Until he reached the door, in an attempt to open it the door, A smooshy substance ran down the Blood Buccaneer's back. In an instant, he drew the Twinfire sword and swung down his back, The substance retreating. Turning around, It began to form and build up into a creature. Normally, Zelrius wouldn't have minded, Other then one small thing: This was the first regular enemy to have A full Health bar, and a Slight amount to the next. This was it then, The beginning of the stronger and more challenging monsters. That would mean his solo days were slowly coming to an end now, and it wouldn't be much longer till Zelrius HAD to rely on other people to get him places. The Back slash had hurt both him and the new found enemy, it would seem.

Quickly, The battle became a hell of a lot easier. Once the Sludge was in contact with the twinfire sword, It was ignited in Flames, and was now visible to the boy named Zelrius. The Sludge leaped forth and once again, over Zelrius landing along his back like it had last time. He yelled in pain and swung once more, the same way he had previously. The same effects were applied to both, With the exception of Zelrius's own hit not doing as much damage as he'd like, and with the blade only barely scratching the sludge ball. This worked and didn't work. He still made contact, and Damage was still dealt, but he had learned that though this enemy may or may not do that much damage, It was certainly going to be annoying to fight a few at a time, So he would try from now on to minimize his fights with these.

Zelrius sighed, It would seem he is not going anywhere with all this. Though the monste was rapidly dying, so far it was only delaying his grand quest. The quest of speed, That is. He cared not so much for the honor of finding the damned door, But so much that time was of the essence and it would take time to find and defeat the boss. Time they had lost in the preparation, Battle, Loss, Preparation, Battle, Victory, Of the Hydra battle that had just ended hours prior to Zelrius doing his current turn of events. They had lost months in clearing, and he wasn't sure if there was a time limit on the Players of SAO, and if there was, How long was it? All that aside, Zelrius needed to end this battle rather shortly, Things were not going according to his speed plan so far, But we might be able to change that.

Things were progressing rather quickly in this battle, However, As that may be, The boy had to re make up his mind. It would seem this monster had not posed as much as a threat as initially anticipated. With the little smidge of extra Health bar, Zelrius was a bit worried there, but now that was receded as the monster did little baby amounts of damage to the boy, and Zelrius himself did about a fifth of its Health with each of attack. Making this the Fourth attack, Zelrius figured that if he manage to land this next hit, That would be the end of this little bastard, and the boy could move onto bigger and better things, Such as finding a certain boss door and making up for lost time. and that is precisely what went down on the Blood Buccaneer's next attack, as it all turns out, Time was conserved.

Well, in a manner of speaking that was. He could just leave now and let the monster die to burn damage. But in all honesty, he was afraid that if he went inside the tower now, The monster would be killed by another Frontliner and the Exp and Mat be stolen from Zelrius. So the Battle Arena Champion naturally kept fighting this foe on his own. Not because he honestly cared about that nitty gritty junk, But because he'd rather that he had it, Rather then someone like Ryu or Daeron. If Zelrius was going to go through the trouble of attacking the enemy, He minus will finish it off and reap the rewards for himself. This would help the Blood Buccaneer in more ways then one. First of all being the Extra mat kept his Partnerships with certain forges running smoothly, Along with the Col from the monster itself being rather useful on a later date.

Obstacle one, Down and out. So far things were going rather nicely for the boy. He took a second, To stand and take a breather. Letting his out of battle healing regen him to full health. Then moved on with his life. It would seem that the process didn't take any longer then a few seconds, as His Hp was not that far depleted to begin with. Regardless, He moved on, Still in that effort to conserve time and energy. Though maybe conserving energy wasn't so much of a goal, or was even reachable. This being because he needed to move swiftly to be able to make up for lost time, and that took quite the bit of energy. Jogging to the Door, Zelrius reached his hand out and opened it up. The large echoing sound becoming even louder as now the creak and booming noise went in through both dungeon and cave.

This was it, He was back in the familiar setting all the Floor Dungeons had. The Dark out walls. with the colorful and lit paths running each and every way leading to various things. Treasures, Traps, Death, Destruction, Riches, New Quest markers, Dead ends. You named it, The dungeons generally had it. Though there was little puzzle on these lower floors, Or so Zelrius assumed that the higher floors would take more thinking then actual searching to reach boss floors. Or rather then assumed, The Blood Buccaneer hoped it became a little more complicated then just finding the door, Run in Kill a boss move on. The boy certainly missed games like the Legend of Zelda where more puzzle was involved then mineless slashing. Though the fighting system in VR was certainly different, it certainly got boring after a while.

Zelrius clipped his way through many corridors here and there. Though he didn't ever lose his way, It was beginning to give him a headache, The type he often got when stuck in a certain place in a game for too long. These "Headaches" (More or less, they were a nauseous feeling, not so much a headache, nonetheless, they were not pleasant.) came as often as they sound they do. Whenever our poor ol Zelrius would be playing Games, He'd sometimes spend hours wandering that area, and it would make him feel sick and want to stop playing. Of Course, he had never given up, But sometimes it would go on for so long that once he had finally reached the destination, The boy would save and stop playing for a bit, Simply because it was just too much for him to think straight at times.

However, that was not an option this time. Either he kept pushing till the Door was found, or he gave up now and let someone else do it. And while that second option seemed appealing, he had many reasons to reject that. The main one being Time. If the entire game or community hadn't wasted so much of it, Zelrius might not have even been here right now. No, he would be snuggled at home, Either grinding for various things, or sleeping, as he often did. However, The Hydra had taken too much precious life away, directly and indirectly. Some had died to the Hydra, and all the others had lost time of their lives that they will never get back, preparing and fighting the Hydra. This was the Dilemma. Zelrius knew if he wanted to conserve and make up for that lost life, he'd have to do it himself.

Zelrius felt he was getting close, and actually began to scan the walls. It would seem that there was no sign of any Boss Door here. That was, Other then the newly found Enemy, the first since his entrance. A Small bat, with a tiny HP bar it would seem. This appeared to be only the bare minimum HP required or set for each floor. Regardless, Zelrius cared not. He moved toward it, and was more then happy to do something other then wander around for a bit. Drawing his twinfire sword, Zelrius happily dashed forward and initaited battle. He slashed the blade of azure and maroon flame down the creature, nearly already killing it, More then happy with the resulting noise and HP drop made from the beast. It however, retaliated quickly with a bite or chomp of it's own , In which Zelrius jumped back in time to dodge.

Zelrius almost laughed at how comical it was to see a monster in the Dungeon of the Highest floor avalible right now tremble and wilt so easily to the might of the Blood Buccaneer and the Twin fire sword. It truly was a sight to see, Half the HP gone from it, and the Other Half quickly leaving, then the dispersement shortly after of the entity into a million little blue crystals. Quickly, The congratulations window came up, signifying the end of this little battle, and the fact that Zelrius could move on with this tedious and mundane search for a boss door, in order to get this entire floor done and over with, all within a reasonable amount of time. The Blood Buccaneer had high hopes for the next few days, and with any luck he'd be here doing this exact same thing on floor 11 within due time.

The fight was rather easy. Zelrius was relieved just at how easy both those fights turned out. The Sludge beinga bit longer and more tedious, but almost quite a bit more time consuming. It was interesting, He was rather happy with the outcome of things so far. He didn't have the slightest feeling he was wasting any sort of time and felt like he was infact making progress with this goal in mind. He made his way some more through the Corridors, Only meeting a rather large rat there, Standing in his way. Giving off a sigh of Boredom, Zelrius once more drew his sword, and then realized, That this move rather quickly. It was already hard enough to see, But now the Monster could move quicker then usual. That should spice things up a bit, Or so Zelrius had hoped....

Zelrius was pleased that this fight was also going smoothly. At this rate, He might even gather the confidence to just up and solo the boss. Maybe, Maybe not. Depended on what he found out if he ever did find out. With that in mind, The rat ended up with a bit on Zelrius, Though it wasn't that big of a deal, Zelrius got his head back into the matter at hand and quickly slashed down on the Rodent. He had dropped it a pretty penny of health, But it seems this would take more of the boy's time then he currently had at the moment. it would also seem that Zelrius was thinking more of the word time, as time itself progressed. With every second ticking by, Zelrius couldn't stay focused on a single thing, though he did still land his hit, It was becoming a tiny bit difficult with his mind all over the place

With any luck, This battle would end within Zelrius's next hit or so, And he could get moving along with the main goal. The one that now muddles his thoughts extremely. That was what made his current short term goal be even harder to reach. The long-term seemed to be a bit crippling, but that was only because of how important the Long term had become. Everything was boiling down, and so far, Things were not looking good, Housing and Feeding wise. Even in SAO, NPC resources were limited. And though Herbs and ingredients respawned at various times, It was still only enough to keep up with demanding hunger, along with the demand of Housing in the lower floors. That was always a problem, That needed solving, and now Zelrius was working hard to solve it.

Now things had heated up a bit in his mind. With another hit being dealt out to him, Zelrius began to refocus on the goal at hand was ready to deal with the monster. Swinging his twinfire sword a final time at the Rat, the process of death was repeated. The dispersment into data shards, and the White Congratulations window appearing rather quickly. It would seem this was mechanical to Zelrius by now, Even in this new Dungeon. The window appeared after every monster now, and was becoming more of an annoyance then a sense of accomplishment. Sighing, He knew there was nothing he could do about it. So the boy pushed on ward, Hoping that the Boss door was not too far out of sight by now. But it would seem that that goal might take just a bit longer then the Blood Buccaneer anticipated.

Even with constant work, It would appear that this Boss Room was more elsuive then expected for an inanimate structure. Or maybe it was mobile, Though Zelrius was nintey percent sure that the room was stagnant. Regardless, He simply and clearly did not give the older scouts enough credit. This was rather day consuming, though nothing would be getting done if Zelrius wasn't doing it right this moment. Not to mention, He had many things planned if he did find the room first, and that was the one and only true hope with all this. Still, with all this thinking, Zelrius had to keep a sharp eye out for the door, he couldn't miss it, He just couldn't. If the Blood Buccaneer missed the door, He one, stab himself with his sword, two feel like a moron, and quite frankly, Zelrius didn't feel like a moron.

Zelrius felt he was miles ahead of anyone else who may be searching for the boss door as well. Though it would seem that way, it might be different. He trudged on through, clearly remembering that yes, Things had been rather in his favor. With the last hit and first exit, Zelrius was probably well ahead of everyone on his tail. Not to mention he hadn't seen another player since hours ago, In the Hydra room. Which meant that he was either really far ahead, or really far behind. No matter the outcome, Zelrius just couldn't wait to find this damned room and be done with an adventure for one day. He had grinded plenty of EXP and Col from this little run around, and when he found the boss room, would be more then satisfied with the amount of work he would have made that day.

Progress so far seemed to be rather slow. Though, Zelrius couldn't let that slow him down. He had a duty to himself and Azure. This was what needed to be done, and Zelrius HAD to be the one to do it. Anyone else would either screw up his grand plan or wouldn't even consult him. Of course, Before the disappearance of Nikki and Miaki, Normally Zelrius wouldn't care one way or the other whether or not someone talked to him about the boss fight. But since then, The boy matured and would find it rather insulting if someone DIDN'T consult him after finding the room. And by the way relations were working out, It would seem that there was probably no intention of informing Zelrius of anything. Though, This time, he cared not and he had plans of his own once the boss was uncovered
