[SP-F10] Stuffy Caves

Recommended Posts

Though, Now Progress seemed to be digressing. Things seemed to be winding down and slowing down. Something Zelrius didn't like the Sound of too much. This time, he began to really look. Inspect every nook and cranny. Go all the way down every corridor until he was absolutely positive it was a dead end or a trap. And it really wasn't that hard to tell the two. Either it was just a wall, or a small unsuspecting chest. Of course some of these chests may be treasure, But Zelrius currently did not have time to find out and everytime he saw one, Either walked around it or turned tail and went back to the fork in the path. No matter what, Zelrius kept high spirits and hopes, knowing that feeling down or sorry for yourself would only slow things down that much more, and that was the last thing Zelrius needed.

He was getting close. And Could feel it. It would appear that the corridors got brighter, as if signifying "Yes Adventurer. You are close. Keep trying and we will see if your efforts were worth it." As it turns out, Zelrius saw this as a good omen, and not a trick played by the creators. They would hold those deceiving and fun little mind games for later floors. When players felt over confident about the Dungeon exploring.  Whatever the case, Zelrius kept his search up, and with it, His ideas to keep a keen eye out for anything and everything that may or may not have laid in his path. It had been a while since he saw a new type of monster, and he did his best to avoid the ones he'd already fought. But, Sometimes things got risky, and he had to jump over a few. Whatever the Case, The Blood Buccaneer had hoped this was all for something.

Zelrius narrowed his eyes down a certain corridor. It looked fishy, So he went down to investigate. It would seem that maybe this was it, Maybe not. Whatever the case, he couldn't leave it unchecked, in case it was the right one. Walking down it, He only saw one of the three familiar monsters he had already run into. This one being the Rodent. It scurried and sniffed and was far more then ready to fight a player. However, Zelrius was not in the same boat and was not at all wanting a fight. he was already tired enough from the Hydra fights, The walk, The search, and the other battles he had already had with these types of monsters. In no way shape or form was he at all ready to deal with one of the faster creatures, one of all being a nasty little house rodent that meant nothing but time to him.

Zelrius, after making his mightly leap over the Rodent. Continued on down the corridor. Only for it to turn into a dead end and then become an absolute time waster. He was getting rather frustrated with this turn of events. Of course, before doing or saying anything too stupid, Zelrius stopped, took a deep breath and calmed himself. Turning around, Zelrius yet again had to mentally prepare himself and jump once more over the Rodent. It just gave him the chills everytime he had to go around or over an enemy. He supposed that that was not how it was meant to be played, But the stocked up hear Zelrius had made it quite easy enough to pull off and even easier for someone like Zelrius with high stats. This being said, THe boy began to wander down yet another corridor and hope that this was the one.

Sure enough that corridor or hallway was the one. Zelrius walked down it and his breath was taken away when he looked up, and much to his pleasant surprise, there the menacing door was. It was tall, as always, but each had it's own Floor-ish hint to it. This one being damp and dark. It's stone surface being rugged and stone-age looking. Zelrius touched a hand to it. This was the first time he had done this alone. Many times before he had opened the door, but that was infront of a rather large raiding party, ready to kill what they already knew was behind the door. This time, It was only Zelrius. It was only the Blood Buccaneer, The Battle Arena Champion, The Twinfire Wielder, The Commandant of the Azure Brigade. Alone, He pushed open the great door, Completely ready to uncover what menace laid behind it for the next Raiding group.

GOT CLEARANCE HERE IS WHAT I WAS TOLD

They would see the 16 yellow eyes  floating in the air, followed by a loud roar and sudden gust of wind. Then 6 red eyes closer to the ground followed by low growling. Before being blown out the room by that wind.

Without the Skill, Night Vision, Zelrius couldn't see much but the 16 Glowering golden eyes peering at him. Within an instant, The wind busted through, nearly sending the Blood Buccaneer off his feet, but he held his steel. When he opened his eyes and dropped his arms from shielding his face, Zelrius now glanced at the Red Eyes near the ground, and the horrible sound was emitting from the direction. Once more, The wind came, Throwing The Battle Arena Champion out of the Room, and The Door Slamming Shut. This was all he needed, Or rather, He did need more, But clearly could not obtain more in the darked out room. Getting back up and sheathing his Twinfire Sword, and running back out of the Tower, Teleporting to Floor 8, He had a Mission to do now.
