[PP-F2] Say What?! (Torunn)

Haine yawned as she leaned against a tree, folding her arms together as she'd groan shortly after. "Ugh..." "I'm bored outta my mind! What to do, what to do! I mean... this floor is supposed to be below par of my expectations. But, so far there's no country feeling floor. This is about the best we can get here! So I should stop complaining." she toyed with her hair, while glancing ahead of her, her gaze drilling holes into a tree. "Let's just take a walk instead then! Then I can see how bad it is in a dark cave. Been about a few weeks since I've entered a dark dungeon." Haine pushed herself off of her side to stand up straight, stretching her arms and popping her knuckles before drawing her katana. She slung it over her right shoulder and sighed as she inhaled a breath of fresh air, and then she'd really start walking from then on. Where the bluenette was gonna go? Who knew, it was always a 'with-the-flow' attitude she had nowadays. She'd been more lenient with her duties, so that was probably the only reason why she was on this floor in the first place.

 

A nearby noise caused her to freeze in her tracks, scanning the area closely. "Hmm? Hide and seek now is it?" A hint of blue hair caused her to raise a brow in confusion. "Hmm? What now?" making her way towardst the direction of the unidentifiable noise. To her surprise, she looked down to find a small looking player behind a tree. Haine looked closely, realizing what she just saw. A very young player in Aincrad. "What's a kid that young doing here in the first place? But she's so cute! I just wanna adopt her- Never mind that... is she alright?" Haine smiled softly at the smaller player, kneeling down to her level. "Hey there! Is everything alright?" the bluenette moved to pat her head, but refrained from doing so... she had a feeling that it would be a liiittle to freaky. Coming from a stranger towards someone leagues younger than her.

Torunn had been running around playing hide and seek with Yuki(her stuffed animal/second personality). Most of the morning she knew there could be monster and all kinds of things out here but did not really mind if something did come close she would just hide in the tree and message papa to come save the day.

 

Yuki were always quick to sent Keith a message if something happened or they needed help with something, Torunn on the other Han might be the one controlling it all but she's quite shy to strangers so she uses her stuffed animal to let Yuki talk.

 

Torunn had just sat down behind a tree to red a little from all the running around as she heard some noise from the other side of the tree. She quickly did equip her shield and did hide behind it.

 

But as she did see it was no monster but just another word player she unequipped it and held out Yuki as she would say "Hello much miss, everything is totally fine were just playing"

Haine would laugh under her breath as the blue haired child would jump slightly, hiding herself behind a shield. But then her eyes would peer up at the older female, and she'd lay her shield down, equipping a white stuffed rabbit in her hands. Oddly, she'd speak from the rabbit, holding it next to her face. Haine wasn't quite sure, but she let it go with a grin, resisting the urge to raise a brow. "That's a cute little rabbit you got there! Hmm, you were playing a game? Can I play with you too?" Haine would ask, before standing up straight and rubbing her back after shrinking her height to be at the little girl's level. She'd notice her looks again... her bunny inspired hoody and - the stuffed toy. Playing - playing games. "Wait a minute! Wasn't this one supposed to stay in that settlement for little kids? Are they even aware of this? But then again, I'm not gonna ruin the fun for her am I? B-But... I just hope she'll be alright! Someone will look after her, plus my hands are full! I have no time for sidetracking, since I gotta stop all this slackers nonsense. I've wasted plenty of time as it is." She brushed her hair to the side and crossed her arms, waiting for a reply from the girl. Haine was amused, to be honest. "What am I doing here?" And she sure as hell didn't want to admit all of her thoughts, and concerns.

The blue haired girl looked at the lady with a smile as Yuki did turn around and asked Torunn "So Torunn what do you say should we let her play games with us?".

Torunn responded with a smile and said "Yeah we can let the lady into our games as long as she don't go tell the stupid npc's where were hiding" she said looking at Haine.

 

"Is that a deal miss?" Yuki said looking towards Haine with its dead puppet eyes.

"Hmm? I won't tell on ya, I'd just be ruining the fun! I assume you were given this game so you can actually play it anyways..." Haine muttered after she warmly assured the smaller girl with a thumbs up. "So, I guess I'll be playing tag today? Or guess who maybe... I feel obligated to- you know what I mean?" The older player would chew on her lip, thinking of what to say. Something cheery and friendly, since she was of course not someone of her own age. Haine liked to assume she was good with kids, but hey- you never know when one kicks her in the face, because she's all rainbows and sunshine. "How rude of me, the names Haine. You would be Torunn? The one in the hoodie? I like that name, it's creative." she'd think for a moment, going through a list of all the people she'd met in her head, and their names as well. "So, what games do you and Yuki like to play? I used to have a stuffed bunny too, but that was waaay back in the days. Her name was Bunny-chan, or Momoko." Haine spoke in a calm voice, reflecting over the first days of the game. In all honesty, she had no clue why she even entered the game, being one of those 'girly' stereotypes. The bluenette had to admit, she still hadn't matured, at that time. But those 'mature' years followed shortly after, when she started meeting all these ambitious faces. It kind of changed her, as an entirety. Haine was embarrassed to even think about all those childish habits she had, so she'd blush slightly and fold her arms together, in hopes of changing the topic.

Torunn looked at the girl and moved her hood a little back so her face could be seen.

"Yeah i'm Torunn, and glad you like it miss, i took it cause its my favorite super hero and i wanted to become just like her" she said and giggled slightly.

 

"Hmm what to play, i don't know miss, got any ideas? were open for all the games you have in mind" she said and looked around keeping an out to make sure that the new girl did not signal some friends to go call the npcs or something strange.

"Your favorite super hero? That's cool! I um..." the bluenette drew blank on what else to say, attempting to start up a more productive conversation. She let out a sigh of relief, once Torunn had brought up a subject. Games to play, what did Haine exactly enjoy? Those days where she played tag and hide and seek, were long gone. But maybe today, she'd be bringing back her childhood memories. The teenager would place a finger to her cheek, brainstorming a list of ideas. "Well, I'm not great with ideas. But, I have some ideas! How about..." Haine muttered for a moment, before nodding her head and looking back at the small blue haired child. "Tag? Or rock skipping? Maybe - oh I know, hide and seek! How does that sound...?" she smiled cheerfully, clasping her hands together and popping her knuckles. Hide and seek still was Haine's favorite 'kiddy' game, since it made her laugh when someone couldn't find her - and she was right behind them. Not so much now, but she had to see if her 'hiding skills' were up to par from way back then.

Torunn smiled at Haine as she did tilt her head to the right before saying "What's rock skipping?" as she had a confused look on her face.

The young girl looked around the area to try see if there were any good hiding spots here, but did not look like there was all too many here.

 

"We can play hide and seek, do you wanna count first or should i?"

Haine would chuckle as Torunn questioned about this 'rock skipping game'. The bluenette would sigh, pondering over how to put it in words. "Um, weeelll... I think a lot of people have played it before! Ro-ck ski-pping. You grab a rock and try to skip it as far as you can. You grab a buddy with you, and see who throws the rock farther. Simple right? I like playing this game near shallow water. It's 'funner'." She grinned whilst slipping out an improper word. She learnt it a while back. "Miyako! Funner is not a word!" But it just happened to be one in her head, she even said it every now and then (to her embarrassment). Her absent mind drifted back into reality as the girl spoke. "We can play hide and seek, do you wanna count first or should I?" Haine thought about it for a bit, but came up with a conclusion. "It's fine, I'll count first. Now you try to find a really good hiding spot, because I'm a pro at this." she shot Torunn a thumbs up as she'd lean against a tree, ready to go. "Well, we'll have to wait and see - how this goes. Playing hide and seek and I'm almost..." the player would protest in her mind, about everything that had to do with kiddy games. But she still liked seeing how it all played out in the end. How long would it take her to find Torunn?

Torunn looks and smiles "So throwing rocks, sounds kinda fun if your not alone about it" she responded before she did run off to try find a hiding spot, she looked around the place to try find a good spot and decided to climb up the wall and lay down on the roof, as she would hide behind the sides of the roof.

 

~Hopefully this is a good spot~ she said to Yuki and looked up at the sky with a smile on her lips ready to get spottet by Haine

[ OOC NOTE: I don't think either of us have the stealth skill in our actual lists, so we're going to use it another way for simplicity. We have regular stealth levels. So basically you just roll the LOOT DICE and list your roll number. Then player two rolls. If their loot dice result is lower than yours, they can't find you. If their loot dice result is higher than yours, then they find you :P Correct me if I'm wrong on anything. Your outcome for the loot dice would be 10. Found ya! ]

 

Haine grinned at Torunn and gave her a thumbs up, signaling that she was going to start the counting now. Facing a tree which was in the opposite direction of where the small blue haired girl was heading, she'd begin her countdown. "BY THE WAY I'M COUNTING TO THIRTY!" the older player would holler so she could hear, placing her hands over her eyes and opening her mouth to speak. "One! Two! Three! ... Twenty four!" Haine would pause for a brief moment to peek out from the side of the tree, and Torunn was nowhere to be seen. Covering her eyes back quickly, Haine kind of cheated. Speed counting the rest of her way, before chirping upon her completion. "And thirty! Ready or not... here I come!" with a childish smirk, the bluenette walked off, her eyes scanning the area closely. "Now I'm not gonna embarrass myself here! This shouldn't take too long to figure outtt." Chewing on her lip, she walked up to several other trees around the area, peeking between the leaves to check for a small girl that was hiding. After a good while, Haine let out an exasperated sigh. "Where are youuuu?" "Damn it Haine spy something blue! Or a bunny. Bunny, bunny, do I see a bunny here?" Her eyes would then avert towards the direction of a really random building that sat out in the edge of the open field which was surrounded by trees. Stopping for a minute, she placed a hand to her chin and though. "Ah! Bingo, that's my prize." In a jiffy, Haine sprinted over to the building and peeked around it. "Can't find her!"  Her golden eyes would narrow as they caught a glimpse of blue, and bunny ears from the roof of the building. "Aha!" Climbing onto the roof, she tapped Torunn lightly. "Haha, found ya!"

Torunn had just been laying up there on the roof waiting for Haine to find her as she was looking at the blue skies, and as she heard someone get near she smiled knowing Haine would have found her now.

She looked to her side just to hear Haine yell "Found ya" as she then said "That would make it your turn to go hide then?" she said looking at Haine before looking around.

 

"So should i go to the tree and count or just stay up here?" she said and smiled at Haine as Torunn looked to Yuki and said "I told you that we should not have picked this place to hide, it was horrible we were way too easy to spot up here" 

Torunn said to Yuki before getting up and waiting for Haine's response.
