Luckily for him, he was able to avoid the part of it's own weapon where it dealt out the bleed effect. Assuming that he got away by a hair, he didn't want to risk being reckless again. Coming in again, but this time from behind after running around the large bulky enemy. Daeron swung his weapon with is right hand this time, trying to a vertical downward strike, a basic attack that he usually went with, but he would rarely use when in a difficult battle as it was too easy to be read. Daeron 1 Posted March 10, 2015 Author #22 Report Share Posted March 10, 2015 He missed. Somehow, he had tripped on a dumb crevice in the ground that could easily have been avoided. The monster wasn't quick enough to turn however, not allowing it enough time to strike, he stood back up. Luckily for his battle healing skill, he recovered some health in the process, making this effort slightly more worthwhile, rather than missing and healing nothing. Continuing the same path he was going to strike, he went in for the same attack he had wanted to use just mere moments ago, with the monster still not turned around fully. Daeron 1 Posted March 10, 2015 Author #23 Report Share Posted March 10, 2015 Daeron had hit the monster, but because of that, it had swung it's metallic arm backwards, and managed to contact with Daeron, sending him back about two feet. Standing back up, Daeron rushed in from behind again as that seemed to be one of the easiest spots to hit where the monster had the hard time of reaching him. It was by mere luck as Daeron liked to think that the monster had even hit him. This time, this fight would end within possibly four or five hits if everything went entirely his favor. It wasn't long before this fight could finally be brought to an ending. Daeron's blonde hair seemed to be magical, or perhaps that was just him fantazing about himself once again, like he had done before. He put a smile on his face as he felt accomplished that he was able to make it through these fights rather easily. Swinging his weapon again in a downward motion, he waited to see how the enemy would react this time. Though Daeron had actually managed to be in the sixties for his health, if his battle healing would actually WORK for a change, then it wouldn't be such a big deal this time, having to have such low health. Regardless, he moved on with the battle and went for a lower strike this time and tried to cut at the monster's legs, unsure if it was possible to even cripple an enemy like that. Daeron 1 Posted March 12, 2015 Author #26 Report Share Posted March 12, 2015 With such a low amount of health this fight was so easy now, the monster made staggering motions and it even struggled to even hit him now. Daeron was moving too quick and the monster was just too bulky to be able to dodge anything. Daeron's weapon also added on with damage rather easily, so the fight was pretty easy for the most part. "Nearly done." he reassured himself, letting him know once that item drops, he gets to complete the quest and then finally walk home with a huge smile on his face. Also, by home, he meant the wilderness.
