Reu then had to dodge the incoming attacks of two boars while making his way to his sword. First he juked left, then he juked right. Then as the first boar's attack came, Reu did a full front-flip over the beast. Suddenly, he was staring the second boar down. Reu went right, and the boar attacked to its' left, Reu came out feeling damaged, watching his health-bar fall another tick. Frustrated, he attacked bare-handed but not being a martial artist, missed completely.

The first boar must have done something, Reu couldn't see it the entire time, but now it was stumbling around like it was hurt. Maybe it fell in a ditch and twisted something, Reu hoped. It would make the rest of the fight easier if that was the case. The second boar attempted another charge attack, but Reu skillfully evaded. Finally, Reu was at his sword. He reached down, scooped it up, and came out into a rolling "Hyah!" at the second boar. Landing a massive critical strike, Reu ripped his blade into the beast.

The first boar returned to his senses, and lept out, striking Reu in the back. It hurt, in fact it hurt a lot. Reu wasn't happy that he let himself be hurt like that. As the second boar came in for its' attack, Reu wanted to land a counter-strike, but the pain from the boars' first strike really hurt him. He had trouble focusing and mis-timed his attack. All he was able to do was deflect the boars attack, but his own counter-attack wildly missed. Sighing, Reu prepared himself for the next round of attacks. If he didn't hurry up, he was going to be late for his lunch date.

Reu hurridly dodged the next strike with a quick one-two side-step move. His intuition made his footwork all the better during combat. That deft footwork is what allowed him to get around the first boar's strike, and his knowledge of the battle-space is what allowed him to give the second boar a wide-enough girth that he didn't need to worry about the attack, instead he focused his energy into his next strike on the first boar. It was on it's last legs and Reu was ready...to...finish it off! "KYAAAAA!"

With the first boar defeated, Reu turned his attention to the second boar. He evaded it's attack, and struck out with an attack of his own. Flicking his blade across the side of the beast, Reu admired his handiwork at the amount of damage done. He could also feel his own combat healing skill kick in, and enjoyed the nice bonus in HP. Things were looking up, that was for sure. Maybe he would make his lunch date after all. :D

Now, ready to end this fight. Reu waited for the boar's attack, when it went out of it's way to overly charge Reu, he side-stepped and finished it off with a wide swing from his sword. The Ragnarok Enduring ripped into the beast, felling it. Excited he check the loot drop results and was happy to see a nice chunk of Col. Looks like he was going to have dessert with his lunch, and this would also save him the trouble of hunting for Inn funds later today. Not too bad, he thought too himself. Not too bad at all, he mused.

Reu swung his sword up onto his shoulder, happy with his last bit of handiwork. Now he was going to make his way back to the Town of Beginnings and enjoy a nice lunch. He'd need to spend the rest of the day figuring out where he would place his shop. A good location is key to succeeding in business. He pondered thoughts of getting a stall near the center of town, but then he could also pick a slightly more out of the way area, maybe near his NPC friend Darts' bar. He could get a bigger building rather then just a stall if he went a bit further out then the middle of the City. And being one of the few fisherman besides ???, he wouldn't have much competition right now.

 

All in all, ??? had one of the ideal locations, the path from the Starting City to his shop wasn't busy, served as an easy minor hunting point even, and being so close to the water he could essentially do nothing but fish and sell fish all day. Though Reu wasn't so interested in JUST being a fisherman, all he wanted to really do was clear the game. He liked SAO, loved living in SAO, but there were less and less players everyday and fewer who would be willing to fight as the game goes on...if they didn't work hard now, they could never get out of this game, and Reu had to get out because...because...well, he may not have a good reason himself, but he knew other players did. Other players had friends and family to return too, and Reu was going to do his best to return them to their loved ones.

 

Turning his thoughts back to his shop, he had a lot to think about on his walk home. Still, he was quite pleased with today.
