[SP-F1] Freeze's First Quest <<Secret Medicine of the Forest>> (COMPLETED)

It was Freeze's first day in the 'swordful' world of Sword Art Online. This is also his day to take on his first quest! Freeze was so excited to begin the quest although that he will be the only one to take it. So he rushed into the forest without thinking through about the dangers within it because of his mood. Ok, the quest wants him to find a rare medicine which is exclusively found in this forest. It was a quest for level 1 players so Freeze take this quest as he was really eager to take on some quest but he must start with this then take on the higher ones and so on. So going back to the quest, he needs to find a medicine that is exclusively found on this forest but the medicine will be dropped by plant-type mob named 'Little Nepent's Ovule'. He doesn't know what it looks like but it should be obvious, the only common mobs around these parts are boars so if Freeze finds any moving plants, that should be it. So Freeze wandered around the forest looking for any moving plants.

"Nepent... Where are you?"  Freeze called out for the creature as if the creature will just appear in one call but unfortunately, it won't. Calling it was pretty useless and it's a waste of your energy and voice. Freeze let out a deep sigh and wiped his virtual sweat out of his virtual character. "Where the hell can i find that creature without any information?" he asked himself and it looks like his eagerness leads him into disappointment. He should've gathered more information about the mob before going into the forest but no, it's not the time to turn back now. He have gone deeper to the forest and it would be tiring to go to town in order to ger more information. Also, the mob should be anywhere near now since it's the deep part of the forest. So Freeze didn't stop searching for the mob he is looking for.

While wandering on the deep parts of the forest, Freeze heard suspicious sound more like something is moving around the bushes. Suddenly, a mob jumped into the bush, revealing himself. The attacker was none other than a boar,an angry one, Freeze must've cross his territort and the boar either

wants him dead or gone in his territory. Freeze quickly unsheathed his sword and aimed for the boar. "YOU'RE DEAD BOAR! RRRAAAAGGGHHH!!!" he shouted before charging at the mob.

As Freeze was charging at the boar, the boar charged as well. Unfortunately, the boar got Freeze on the stomach thus, missing his attack. Well that was an embarassing mistake for a lvl 1 boar. He could've taken it down in one or two hits but some unfortunate events happen. Let's hope that luck might come to Freeze next time.

"DARN! I MISSED!" he cussed then stand up to fight the boar again. "you are one tough cookie huh?" he intimidated the boar and spits on the ground "Well you're not gonna cross over me!" he added and charged for the boar once again. Will Freeze hit this target this time? or he will miss again? If either happened, Freeze is already having a bad day because of this boar.

Freeze succesfully stabbed the boar on its back with his newbie sword. The mob groaned in pain but in return, he pierced his horns in Freeze's stomach very deep that it hits his virtual insides causing critical damage. The boar then threw Freeze a meter away. Dang, looks like Freeze is gonna die early in game but let's hope won't happen. Freeze is now seriously hurt and he needs some medical attention now or he will die. Will he fight? or will he run like a coward?

"Gah... *pant* I won't give up" Freeze stood up for the last time and it seems that he is not giving up. Battling a level 1 mob is harder than he have though. He never knew such mob would take him down into 2 health left. If only he has an ally to protect him but he needs to finish this by himself now. Although tired, Freeze aimed at the boar for the last time and charged at him hoping that the battle would finally be over. Also, the boar also looks seriously hurted now so there is no turning back now.

Unfortunately, the boar got him first again and thus, missing his attack for the second time. Freeze fell down, he is still alive but seriously hurt. He needs to kill the boar and any further damage will kill him off in the game. There are no room for mistakes now! Don't give up Freeze! that's just a boar! You can kill it! You're the sword emperor right?

Freeze was worn out but boar was still pinning him. He did what he could but he was seriously injured by just a level 1 mob. Humiliating but he thinks that this is just an unfortunate day for him, it happens to many people. If it's not your day then it's noy your day although your skills are high, you can still get killed by a level one boar if you are unlucky enough.

The boar was still pinning him so the any attack will undoubtedly miss. So Freeze just simply stab the boar and slashed through his meat, finishing the boar. The boar fell down unto his knees and turned into crystal remains then was blown by the winds. The battle was finally over. In a level one fight, this is undoubtedly the hardest level mob he have ever fought. He thinks that he would need some allies next time he takes on a quest. You can't do some things alone after all.

Freeze stayed on the ground but look on the bright side, he leveled up and that means his health was raised and refilled then that also means that he doesn't need to go to the town for healing and he can still keep going for the quest. Also, he is still emotionally tired so he stood up and layed down on a nearby tree, regaining his energy to fight once again. He will rise up again once he was fully rested and prepared for an another fight. So for now, Freeze needs his beauty and he hoped that any players and mobs won't kill him while he is sleeping. Obviously, he has to worry about Sleepkers as they kill players on their sleep and he doesn't want that to happen to him so he must not relax yet, he is still endanger.

Freeze woke up and he is fully energized now. He stood up and did some stretches while yawning as he rises. Now, he has the energy to fight again whatever he will face on this quest, he will be prepare and he will ensure that what happened on the last fight, won't happen again. "Where should i go now?" he asked himself while scratching his head. He has no idea where to head now as he is on the deepest part on the forest now and any further wandering will lead him to the other side of the forest. So the Nepent must be around here and it must be hiding from players. So he let out a deep sigh and walked around. He hoped that he will find this mob any sooner and he also hoped that he wouldn't ran into any boars again and put himself in risk. Whatever, mob attacks can't be prevented so he must be prepared for whatever blocks his journey. He could either remove the obstacle or go to an another route.

Freeze kept on searching and searching but unfortunately, he can't still find the mob. He then discovered that he is walking in circles but if he have gone too far, it would lead him to any sides of the forest which means the exit. Freeze gave up and fell unto his knees, he needs an another rest again. He has been searching these area for hours and the Nepent is nowhere his around to be seen. He sat down and tried to think about current quest. He thought that he needs to do something first before the mob will appear. He also thought that the Nepent is not a normal spawn which is the reason why he can't find it everywhere and some other random thoughts about the quest which has the possibility of finding the Nepent but unfortunately, there is no dice and all of them doesn't make sense. Freeze was so stressed right now, that thinking made his brain exploded. He is not the smart type but in his level, he did a good thinking but it's not enough. So Freee meditated to clear his brain.

He closed his eyes and took some slow deep breaths. Inhale... Exhale... Again, Inhale... Exhale... Freeze then tried to clear everything on his mind and relaxed. He then took some slow deep breaths again Inhale... Exhale... Again, Inhale... Exhale... Wait, what's that? The sound of the bush shaking disturbed Freeze's meditation. It was undoubtedly a mob as he can hear a low growl and this is not a boar anymore. The assailant then jumped and revealed itself. It was a wolf and it was pretty hungry. It seems that Freeze is on the bottom of the food chain so he was being prayed by this predator. Wolf usually hunt in packs but Freeze is lucky that he is alone. So he prepared for battle.

Freeze unsheated his sword and slashed it to the wolf. Unfortunately, the wolf's predator instinct was so high that he dodged it so easily. The wolf then tried to counter it with a bite but Freeze managed to dodge his attack easily. Freeze was so pumped up now, he thought that he did improved on his first battle. He will not let himself get injured anymore.

Ok second try, Freeze took a second to focus on his target before slashing him with his sword again but then again, predator used his instincts to dodge Freeze's attack again. This wolf is no joke, this beast is a dodge master but good for Freeze, he has more energy so as the wolf tried to bite him again. He dodged the wolf's bite again. Uhh, this is gonna be a tough fight again. Good luck for Freeze.

Ok no more time for misses, Freeze really needs to land the first hit before the wolf gets him good. So Freeze took the battle even more seriously and look glaringly at the predator. Both of them were walking in circles while looking furiously with blazing eyes with each other as if they are mortal enemies. While they are looking each other, Freeze thought that the wolf is distracted now so he took an another try to slash the wolf but then again and again, the wolf did dodge the attack again and then again, Freeze still dodged the wolf's bite again. Geez, this might take a while because of this endless dodging.

No time for misses this like seriously or the battle won't end. He can't run away either because wolves are fast runners you know. Freeze doesn't have the speed to chase them so if he tried, he will be dead meat. For the last time, Freeze poked his sword on the wolf really hard and it was successful! He landed the first hit! and it damaged the wolf really badly from the inside. On the other side, the wolf bit Freeze easily as he was very near to him and he didn't expect that coming so he got hit in the leg.

Ok it's time to finish this wolf up! The wolf was busy biting his leg so any further attack will undoubtedly miss. So Freeze just simply stabbed the wolf on its head with his sword, ending his miserable virtual life. Yet, he won an another battle and thankfully, he is not seriously injured this time. Freeze might've improved on fighting on this world but there is no need to rejoice yet as he needs to finish the quest. So he just put his sword back on its sheat.

This might be just a small battle but Freeze feels like he won a competition and oh look! double level up! he is level 4 now thanks to the wolf battle. Now his health is replenished and his health is more higher. Now he is really prepared to fight the Nepent but the problem is where the hell is that stupid mob? Why won't it show itself? is that creature scared? or he is just that good at hiding? Whatever

He almost forgot! He needs to loot this guy! He forgot to loot the boar last time so he will try to get some loot on this wolf. So he searched around the wolf's corpse but unfortunately, there is nothing to be found on the wolf's dead body. So he just left the corpse and moved on, still in search for the plant-type mob he needs to find.

Uhh this endless searching made Freeze thought that he needs to go back to the town for information but he also thought that he have gone too far to go back so he will end this today even if it will take forever to find this mob and even if he needs to slay a thousand mobs to show himself. So he started shouting around the forest. "WHERE ARE YOU! SHOW YOURSELF" he shouted. "NEPENT! YOU COWARD!" oh my, this quest must've made Freeze crazy but that Nepent really needs to show up sooner or Freeze will go all bananas.

The shouting was useless, the Nepent didn't showed himself. Suddenly, an idea pooped up into his brain. He thought that if he can't be found on the ground maybe he can found him underground. It can't be the skies though, it's a plant. So he looked around on the ground and found a suspicious patch. It's not the Nepent but it might be a medicine or something so he plucked it out.

Unfortunately, it was just a weed. Freeze sucks at identifying plant or herbs so maybe that's why he thought that this weed is a medicine or something. Either way, he moved so he can search for the Nepent. Go Freeze!

As he was about to leave the area, the ground was starting to shake but weak. Is it a baby earthquake? Either way, it's not more like of an earthquake, it's more like something is emerging from the ground. So he looked behind him just to discover that a plant is rapidly growing behind him. It's not just any ordinary plant, it's the Nepent! It looks like a carnivorous plant so this battle might take a while also. "There you are, i've been looking everywhere for you" Freeze said while unsheathing his sword.

Freeze aimed his sword at the Nepent and focused at his target. Once he is sure with his attack, he charged at him then slashed through leafy body. The sword got the Nepent really good that the wound started to spill a mysterious white fluid, plant blood perhaps? However, the Nepent tried to attack Freeze with his barbed tentacles and Freeze managed to cut them so Freeze was not hit.

Ok once again, Freeze tried to slash the Nepent again to finish it off as Freeze's first strike got the Nepent good so the plant is seriously weak now. As he was about to slash, the tentacles grabbed Freeze's sword and the tentacles threw him a meter away from the Nepent but the fall was so hard that it hurted. So it took him some time to regain his balance before focusing on the Nepent again. "I'm gonna kill you" he cursed at the Nepent while aiming his sword on him.

Once again, Freeze charged at the Nepent for the last time, I hope. Freeze really needs to land at least 2 strikes to finish him off but it gets harder. This time, Nepent stole Freeze's sword and threw it away from him. Oh no, this could be trouble. A player is open to attack when not equipped with a weapon. So Freeze reckless go for the sword to retrieve it. Meanwhile, the Nepent used his thorns to attack Freeze. Luckily, Freeze just jumped on them. He successfully retrieves his sword.
