out of context: This is after the OP so Lily, Mallory, and Aramail all know each other. I hope I got the name right.

Lily looked outside of the inn through the window. She knew it was morning but dark clouds covered the sky. Thunder crackles across the sky. Lily sighed. Today they were supposed to go hunt with Aramail but it was storming. The hunt must go on though. She was determined. She went into her room and took her jeans and long-sleeve shirt in her hands. She put them on and walked into Mallory's room. Mallory was not in her bed though. Lily's heart jumped and she shouted "Mallory!" She looked all around the room until she found her under the bed. C'mon Mallory the storm won't hurt you. Lily pulled the child out and put some clothes on her. Lily got out a jacket for the girl and put it on her. She walked her outside to find Aramail.

Aramail was waiting outside for Lilly and her daughter, Mallory. He had met them not to long ago, and had helped them hunting. He promised he'd help them today, rain or shine. Aramail was leaning on the outside wall of the inn, Aramail had a orange hood and scarf to keep his head dry and warm. Even though this was a simulation, the rain felt so real. Aramail saw the two exit the inn. "Oh hey, there you two are. How you holding up?" Aramail asked them.

Lily seen Aramail and walked over to him. She smiled and then laughed. Most people don't mean "Rain or Shine" literally. It usually never rains. Lily equipped her spear and then looked over at the fields. Let's go fight some boars and the I suppose we could go and clear a dungeon. Death is already a chance everywhere. So why not take some risks? Anyone who has any other idea? Lily began to walk through the rain and out into the fields in search of some boars.

Aramail chuckeled along with Lilly. It was a nice feeling, able to laugh alongside people and make the best of things. "Alright, let's head out." Aramail said, adjusting his hood as he turned heel and followed Lilly. On their way to the fields, Aramail thought of some small talk. "So Mallory, before SAO. Did you go to school?" He asked the small child.

Lily walked along the road until her foot landed in the soft grass. She looked around and listened. Then Aramail asked the most random question. "Mallory before SAO did you go to school?" Mallory laughed and answered "I used to go to 1st grade" Lily looked around and noticed two boars. Lily moved slowly ignoring her daughter and Aramail. Aramail, weapon ready She readied to attack. Mallory cringed as a loud boom cracked across the sky form the thunder. Rained poured down on them and the wind picked up.

Aramail drew his sword and charged(not the skill) the nearest boar. "Piece of cake!" Aramail shouted as he swung his heavy blade. The wind blowing his hood back, the lighting illuminating the dark field for a split second.

Perhaps wearing the hood was a mistake, the wind caught his hood and it yanked him back only just. Aramail swung wide and planted his blade into the ground. "Damn!" Aramail cursed under his breath. That's what you get for being cocky.

Lily watched as Aramail attacked the first boar. He seemed to miss vut so did the boar. Lily attacked surprising the boar. Lily stabbed at the boar but was a bit to high. She and Aramail both had missed. The boar let her back up some. Aramail, go again She held her spear in a defensive stance ready to ward off any attack that might come.

Aramil nodded. "Right." He said as he understood the tactic she was suggesting. It was a basic switch off, giving the attacking party a chance to recover. Aramail swung his heavy blade. Aiming for the boar.

Aramail finally had gotten used to his weapon's weight. And his blade met the Boar and it dug into it's hide. The boar lurched back, and swung at him. Aramail dipped backwards and dodged the attack. "Your turn!" Aramail said said to Lily. The rain, pelting his face, and the wind pulling his hair.

Lily watched as Aramail finally was making his mark. Lily understood that it was her turn now. She moved forward stabbing at the boar. Lily felt resistance as the spear entered irs body. Its bar went down and Lily quickly backed up. The boar striked but missed her. Rain began to pelt them. Lightning crackled and the thunder boomed. Mallory screamed in fear. They had to finish this fight and get back to a dungeon to get out of the rain. Your turn Aramail. Move and attack... We have to finish this fight.

The lighting crashed, and the wind and rain picked up. "Right!" Aramail shouted through the rain and thunder.He swung his blade.

Aramile heard Mallory scream, and that somehow fueled him. A sudden urge to protect. With a mighty well Aramail brought up his blade and cleaved a boar in two. The crystals of the boar following him as he leaped back. "Change, now take it out." Aramail said to Lily.

Lily observed as Aramail cleaved the boar in two sending it ablaze in a brilliant blue light. Lily attacked with her spear stabbing the boar damaging it but not killing it. The boar charged her again and hit knocking her back some. Her life bar was nearing yellow quickly. The boar was in red though. The rain calmed down a little and turned to a steady pour instead of fierce rain.

Aramail felt the rain start to calm, that was good perhaps it was for the better. Mallory would calm down at least. Aramail still had the last boar to take care of before he could rest. He let Lily duck back, and Aramail swung again.

Aramail quickly brought his sword down, bringing it down on top of the boars head. Aramail sheathed his great sword as the boar shattered into light. Aramail ran his fingers through his hair. It slicking back. "Well, that was easier then normal, wouldn't you say?." Aramail said, the battle fairing a lot better then what it normally did.

Lily sighed and smiled at Aramail. She put her spear back to her back and the rain became fierce again blowing Lily's hair everywhere. Lily felt like she needed to get out of the rain. She seen a dungeon entrance and seen that it had a roof as all dungeons do and she whisked Aramail and Mallory into it. Okay we're out of the rain. Now let's hope we can find something in here. It is almost impossible to see. Lily held her spear ready for any attack. She heard lightning strike again and then a boom. She looked behind her and seen there was no going back. censored [censored] [/Censored]! Now we have to find another way out of here. There ha got to be another way out of this mess.

Aramail's smile dissapeard as the wind pick up again. "Jeez!" He shouted. "You think we'd have a break?" Aramail felt a tug on his arm, and he blushed as Lily was dragging him along. Lily had dragged him to a cave, which was most likely a dungeon entrance. He looked deeper into the cave, he couldn't see far only that it continued on. "Well, we could lay low here for a while at least till the rain stops." Aramile said, in conjunction to Lily's statement. "Then we can head back to town." As Aramail spoke, the loud crack and the sound of tumbling rocks came. As the dust lifted and cleared, Aramail saw that the entrance was now sealed. "Well, let's hope there's a few chests with teleportation crystals huh?" Aramail said, taking the lead. "Mallory don't be afraid. I'm gonna get us out of here and back to that warm inn. Alright?" Aramail reassured the young child, who was probably frightened out of her mind.

 

Aramail started walking down the cave's mouth slowly, so that the girls could keep up and so that he didn't suddenly fall down a hole.

Lily followed At Aramail into the cavern deeper. There still was no escape as the eye can see. Then Lily heard strangle should. Like a couple of bones rattling. Lily grabbed her spear. "Bring it!" Lily felt that it was an unfai fight because bbc.co it was dark in this dungeon. Carp she thought.

Lily stabbed forward at the second and felt her spear make its mark. This was going to be a dangerous fight. The skeleton took damage but gave it back tremendously. It sliced a huge red line across her body. Lily backed up. It was strong this Skelton was.

"Gah, damn! Mallory stand behind us!" Aramail drew his sword, which glowed blue as he equipped it. "We'll take care of the scary monster. You hide, and stay safe." Aramail said, charging the skeleton. He swung his sword.

Aramail's strike rang true as he hit the skeleton. The red line from Lily's blow made it much easier to hit in the darkness. But as Aramail hit the skeleton, the monster raised it's own weapon. The sword cut Aramail on his arm, and Aramail backed off. "That thing hits hard. Be careful Lily." Aramail said, not wanting anyone to die.

Lily watched as Aramail attacked and made a good hit on the skeleton. She could not believe it. The skeleton was still in green. This was going to be a tough fight. Lily watched as Aramail moved being hit by the skeletons blade. Aramail told her That thing hits hard be careful. Lily had to help protect Mallory. She moved forward quickly and struck the skeleton. It's life went down even more but it was still in green. Oh come on she thought. She backed up before the skeleton could actually hit her.

Aramail saw Lily get a good hit off on the skeleton. "Good! My turn!" Aramail said as he rushed in. Big mistake. The skeleton reached out and grasped Aramail by his throat."Gah! Lemme go you boney, bastard!" Aramail said, hitting the head of the skeleton. The skeleton, disliking the loud noise brought his blade up and pierced Aramail.

Aramail Aramail squrimed loose of the skeleton's grasp and backed off, cluthcinh his gut. "That, was to close." He said panting. He had to be more on guard. He had to live, had to survive for Lily. For Mallory. For Dante. For all his friends he made. "I a'int out yet." Aramail said, readying his weapon again. "I've had worse, you skinless creep." The skeleton just cocked it's head, as if trying to understand him.

Lily watched as Aramail went to attack. The skeleton grabbed his throat and wouldn't let go. Lily screamed Aramail! and began her attack. Aramail finally broke free his life bar finally in the yellow zone. Lily dashed forward and stabbed the skeleton and the spear pierced its head. Lily could not back away before the rusty blade ran across her chest. Lily backed up some before looking at her life bar. LIly was now in the yellow zone. But so was the skeleton.

Aramail collected his thoughts. He had to land a hit sooner or later. Aramail watched as Lily took a hit, trying to save him. "Damn you." Aramail said, beinging to get angry as he watched Lily's health deplete down to yellow. "Damn you to hell!" Aramail said, thrusting his great sword. Aramail missed his strike, and flew to the right of the skeleton. The skeleton stabbed at Aramail, the blow landing on the center of his back. Aramail gasped, and rolled. Aramail watched his vision blur as his health dipped to the red zone. "Dammit, got careless." Aramail said, coughing.
