Snake grits his teeth trying to endure the pain. "this isn't going too well for me, but it isn't going to go well in the end for him." Snake lets a few coughs and then tightens up his grip on the cutlass's hilt and goes into a run at the skeleton. the skeleton ducks as snake swings the sword, but the snake was ready for that little trick. the blade smacks the skeleton in the center of its skull. the blow makes more cracks and chips away some fragments. the skeleton bullets up with its fists in a attempt to counter, but snake jumps to the side.

Snake digs his feet into the ground and lunges to the monster, caught off guard it thrusts its hands to try to catch snake with its bony claws. Snake's blade rams into the opponent's sternum, the force cracks and shatters the bone unhinging its rib cage. The beast's claws cut into snake's lower abdomen. Snake clenches down on his teeth, his eyes widen with a plea look. Snake closes his eyes as he rolls over to remove the beast's fingers from his stomach. Snake's mouth gapes open and he lets out a rough and short yell. Opening his right eye, but keeping his left closed shut tightly, snake sees the skeletons sketching in his blood two tally marks on its hip bone.

Snake enraged by what the mob is doing, he dashes to it and goes into a slide. Snake slashes the skeleton's legs and he pounces onto the monster. Grinning snake puts his right foot on the throat and the other on the ground. and with a quick downward thrust the blade pierces the bone and then he rams it all the way to the throat. The skeleton disappears into a thick cloud of blood red pixels. Snake looks at the Col at the grave of the skeleton. He smiles and crouches down and picks it up. Standing up he continues to the town.

The rain begins to lighten up into a small drizzle, the clouds start to open up and the light begins to shine though. Snake looks up to find the sun light is making a rainbow across the sky. Giving a slight smile he moves on. He looks down and sees the green grass that he is smashing into the mud with every step. "When I get back i'm going to have to get all this mud off of my shoes." He looks back up and then trips over something that didn't seem to be there before. He picks it up, but it just seems to be a large rock.

the ground is hit with the rock after snake tosses it over his shoulder. The mud is about gone back to dirt and the sky is now as black as the black reaper. snake realizes this and gives a smile. "Hei was cool." Snake stretches out his back again bowing forwards this time, he lets out a yawn and shuts his eyes. He begins to accidentally turn to a tree. Opening his eyes, he walks right into the tree and falls to his butt. He gets up and sees something inside a hole in the tree's trunk. Reaching in, he takes out the object. He smiles and puts the materials in his pocket for safe keeping.

clear black sky, shining stars in the distance, and the moon sitting above snake's head. All adds beauty for the stroll towards no where, but to him it seems all too farmiliar. As I'd he knew the rolling hills of lush green grass. To him this was a perfect night. A fog begins to wash over the plains, taking snake's sight and cutting the distance in half. Though he couldn't see 50 yards away, his hearing was execptional. Snake continues without worry through the fog. He unsheaths his cutlass for safety measures, so that a sneak attack won't leave him hopeless.

A thumping sound from heavy steps comes for snake, but then it stops. No other sounds like something sliding to a stop or a few steps to slow itself. A louder and close thump came from his left, but as he turned he is greeted by a hideous monster that lets out a spine chilling "KILL". Snake panics, but is too late for a good strike. He tightens his grip on the handle of the sword while he brings up the sword into the monster as it slashes him with one of the blades along its arms. The cut was clean, so the flesh sliced smoothly without tears. A snake crouches as the monster continues through the air for a few more feet and lands.

The monster's face looks like a alien from that movie alien, the drool and everything. mean yellow glowing eyes, long antennas protruding from the top sides of its head. It's arms are long like a mayntis' and its legs are as long as it's arms. Its arm's blades seem to be made of energy that is neon purple. The beast is purple and its wings are dark green. It has spikes protruding from its shoulder blades. "probably a reaver", snake whispers under his breath. The reaver opens its mouth and licks its teeth. The wound that snake had made bleeds a dark red liquid. Snake's on the other hand bleeds just like the others. He stares at the beast with its fearsome eyes.

The reaver breaks the staring contest and pounces with its forceful legs. The monster screech, "consume!", landed on snake. The reaver bring's down its blade. snake puts his sword at a angle, so it's blade wouldn't hit him, but instead slide across the sword and strike the ground. with this snake grabs hold of the reaver's shoulder and rams the cutlass towards the beast's stomach.The cutlass hit's its exoskeleton, pierces it, and slides through the tough insides of the monster. The reaver's eyes clenched shut while it let out a crackling roar.

The blood slide out of the wound and onto the sword covering it with its dark red tent. he rips it out and blood slung through the air painting the grass and covering snake's face and right shoulder. Putting his foot against the monster he kicks off of him and jumps to his feet. Although the distance between him and reaver didn't last long because it jumped right back on snake and rammed the tips of its blades into his shoulders and stapling him to the ground. The reaver growls while saying, "adapt". Snake grits his teeth and lifts himself from the ground with the blades sliding further through his shoulders and plunges the sword into its neck. It drops limp and disappears into a cloud of pixels. Snake lays there in a red patch of grass that he and the reaver made. "I don't know how long this will last, or if it will last at all. Who knows, someone might have some lust for blood and come to kill me."

The warm crimson red paint on the grass starts to disappear from the grass and snake's face. Getting up snake grabs the loot from the dominated mob and walks away. He stretches his muscles so he won't be stiff, getting on his but he lays one leg out and leans in. 30 seconds pass he let's off and switches legs to do the same to the other. He yawns and lays down. His eyes slowly shut and snake slips into a dream. It didn't last long due to a drop of what seemed to be rain hitting his face. That made him jump awake to a reaver looking at the vulnerable human. Another drop of drool slaps snake's face.

Snake's eyes open and he snags the sword beside him. He launches the sword for the reaver's chest, but it leaps back before he could plunge the sword into his enemy. The beast let's out a low growl and let's out a crackling roar like the last one. The spikes on its shoulder blades grow longer and it's wings grow twice the original size. The scythe like blade's that are it's arms grow stronger and the energy is no longer purple along with its body. Both turned a dark menising crimson color. The eyes of the mob turned a pitch black color making it look like it doesn't have any at all.

A chill went down snake's spine as the thing growled, "adapt". The reaver leaps towards snake with one scythe in front and the other ready to strike at it reaches him. snake doesn't move out of the way, but instead he thrusts his sword in the opponent. The reaver slide on the sword and stops at the hilt, but the reaver has much longer arms than snake. The monster slashed his chest and arm causing him to let go. The beast keeps snake's weapon inside it and walks towards snake. Realizing he can't do anything else, so he sprints at the monster and grips the sword's handle. snake puts his head against its exoskeleton and ripped the sword out, the reaver bent down a little and grunted.

the reaver swings its scythe towards snake's neck, but snake ducks and dodges the first one. though he didn't see the other one coming straight for his abdomen. The scythe like arm tears through snake stomach and comes out the other end, snake's eyes gap open with his pupils as small as a bird's eye. His mouth drops open and he gasps for air, he grabs the scythe and pushes it out. Falling to the ground, he lunges to the reaver. He hits the exoskeleton and cracks it, but the reaver wasn't too pleased so it shoves him away. stumbling, snake falls down on his back.

The blood seeps from snake's wounds. Clenching down on one eye, to try and take the pain, while he tries to stand up. The reaver becomes a blur and is now standing right in front of him rearing back one of its arms, without time to react it luanches its arm at snake. The impact knocked him back 10 feet and roll a few more. He groans in pain and coughs as he once again tries to get up from a harsh blow. The reaver looks to be fiercely smiling and licking its chops. A thought of doubt came over him as he realized that he was being beaten down fairly easily by a big monster. He looks down and tells himself. (If you are going to die then make sure that it isn't easy for the opposing threat.)

The reaver pounces at snake again with both of its arms in the air. Snake brought his sword up to block the scythes, but the blades slid past his and slashed him from his neck on down. snake thrusts his cutlass in a useless effert because the reaver jumps back and readys for another attack.

They look into each other's eyes as they both know that this could end horrifically for either of them. Snake's irises fill with a crimson red and he starts thinking, (wish this could end well for me, but it looks like this may be the end for my adventure.) A tear runs down his cheek, his grip tightens, he clentches his teeth, and the crimson in his eyes turn to flame. A surge of energy runs through him as he bounds towards the reaver. The beast raises one arm and it rears back the other, but snake saw this. Snake side steps and goes low as he enters the monster's reach. The reaver brings down the raised arm and swipes with its left. Snake slide's deflects the left swipe, and barely escapes the scythe that was coming down.

Snake and the reaver turn facing each other. The reaver thrusts it's scythe towards snake's chest and snake thrusts his cutlass towards the reaver. The scythe rips through snake's flesh and bone and the cutlass pierces the exoskeleton of the reaver. Snake and the reaver stop in their tracks. A cloud of pixels is disbursed into the air. Snake falls to the ground and lays their at the brink of death. He closes his eyes. Several hours go by and a storm begins to roll in. A drop of rain lands on snake waking him up. He opens his eyes and sees the wall of rain that is dropping down, tearing at the grass. The rain passes over him and continues to engolf the rest of the field. The dirt from his face washes away and a sense of refreshment passes through him.

The rain is pounding on snake, but he doesn't mind. Not in the least. Snake looks out at the distance, "should I continue? Almost died just now, don't really want to risk it..." Knowing he might die it, but it really isn't different than going out at anytime. Due to the fact just walking out could get you killed. He thinks for a bit and continues outward. The rain is still pouring down on snake and even though it is like he is in a hurricane, he still loves it. It is a simple joy as the water can wash away almost anything. A sense of over joy takes over snake and he starts swiping at the rain. He takes out his sword and starts to cut the water droplets in half. He continues to do this until he steps on something. He lifts up his foot to find a small box he puts the small box in his pocket and continues to swing his sword.

The sword beginning to become a little more of a burden than what he had previously thought. He pointsaid the sword towards the sheath and he slides it in and waits till it clicks. A sigh is released from his mouth and he closes his eyes, a image of horror flashes in his mind and his eyes snap back open. His breathing is quick and he begins looking around paranoid that something might be watching. Realising that there is nothing around, he calms down and shakes his head gentaly. (This isn't going to continue is it?)
