Takane had a fairly simple life up until high school. After questioning her life's path, she decided to go down the glamorous path of being a voice Actress. After carrying two part time jobs to get herself through art school that her parents didn't approve of, she was only somewhat successful.

 

After a few one-off Visual Novels, she was scouted and signed on by Doki-doki Animations, the Company responsible for making a few animes here and there. So happy to have finally hit what she thought was the big leagues she signed on with stars in her eyes, exited for what lie in wait.

 

That was her first big mistake, as the contract she signed didn't just own her voice. While it was true she got the main Heroine Role of 'Aidol' the youngest in a long line of devil's to participate in a hell wide battle for ruler ship.

 

But Voicing her in the anime was not where the line stopped, as she was also required to do the covering for a 18+ Visual novel of the series (She still has nightmares about this),and her contract even extended into both Live action mini-episodes, as well as Public appearances, and crowd events as the devil princess.

 

Having been forced to dye her hair white, and put in expensive, evil looking contacts for that 'Authentic' look, she went to many a con, and concert in guise, and while it wasn't the worst thing in the world, to Takane it felt like indentured servitude.

 

It was one of these public events, 'Assist The Devil Princess conquer the 100-floor Flying Castle' that got her stranded inside of SAO, being forced to play it on a live stream and interact with her 'Loving' fans. It wasn't until all outside communications where shut down was her fate sealed, though unlike most people her in game avatar didn't really change much, having been in costume the first time she put on the Nervegear.

 

Now fed up with it all, Takane has decided this stint would be her last time as 'Aidol', vowing to quit her stressful job as soon as this death game is finished, and what better way to insure so than by shutting it down herself!

 

 

» Virtues

 

Recognition: Due to being an anime Idol, and being perfectly in character outwardly, she tends to catch the eyes of many people; some who think her silver hair and demon eyes disturbing, and others who have seen the anime and try to become her 'Human World General!' While she tries to handle this with grace it can grow very taxing.

 

Stalwart: Neither Takane, nor Aidol are slouches when it comes to facing a challenge, and despite having a big shield she tends, to hide behind it less than many other tanks, using it as almost a weapon itself. Her bravery is also a weapon she uses, not being a a frightened wall-flower.

 

Calm: Takane has always been good in bad situations, once walking out of a hostage situation without being phased. She realizes there is a time and place for emotions, and they are typically best left unused in dire times of need. This does not mean she comes off as cold, simple can hold herself together while the people around her go into a panic.

 

 

» Flaws:

 

Greedy: Money has always been a charm to Takane, it's allure of rewards and power a driving force to her own undoing from time to time (See the foolish mistake of signing a contract without reading first.)She attempts to keep this under control, but sometimes she can be seeing drooling while handling great amounts of fortune.

 

Frugal: While some may say greed is good, holding onto to ones wealth when it needs to be used is undeniably bad. Takane does her best to keep tight strings on her checkbook, and can be seen depressed when paying for things she doesn't really want. 'You got to spend money to make money.' Just plain hurts her inside.

 

Inexperienced at Love: Despite having been exposed to love via her character 'Aidol', she hasn't had to many opportunities to get out there and experience much herself, which leads her to come off as overly aggressive or mean spirited when it comes to those she's interested in; ironically not unlike the character she plays at first. She tends to be defensive when accused of such things, and many fans of the show find it way too endearing for her own likening.
